    Who Knew That Getting You Attic Insulated Could Be Fun

    Recently we discovered that the insulation in our attic was not only deficient in some areas there was no insulation at all. Today all that is behind us. Our house will now be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter thanks to the awesome work of Jeremy & Steve of Knights Insulation.     Adding attic insulation

    We just had insulation added by Knights and were very pleased with the service. The estimator was professional and informative. He explained everything. Annie from the office was knowledgeable and friendly. She was easy to communicate with. The estimate we received was detailed and easy to read. The installers, Steve and Jeremy were great. They called us by name and showed us everything we needed to see. They discovered some moisture by our bathroom vents and went above and beyond to fix the problem. They took some extra time to climb up on a ladder to look at the vents outside the bathroom fans. They found that they had been installed backwards and they flipped them around for us. When the job was complete they had me go up into the attic to have a look. They then cleaned up and left. I would definitely recommend this company.

    Assess attic ventilation and insulation

    We are in the process of assessing roofing bids and need to be sure our attic insulation is both sufficient and well-ventilated. I read horror stories about moisture issues with blown-in insulation. Since we did this work ourselves, and the soffits are difficult to access due to the slope of the roof meeting the rafters, I was afraid they might be blocked. I called Knights and they sent Del to take a look for us. He climbed into our attic and looked on both sides. While maybe we could increase our insulation to improve our R value, he said it is adequate and our soffits are mostly clear, therefore we don't need any work done. We were pleased with Del's professionalism and honesty, and will definitely call Knights should we have insulation needs in the future.

    Attic insulation

    The guys at Knights Insulation did a great job of topping up the insulation in my attic. Their crew were friendly and helpful. I would use them again for any future projects.

    Attic Insulation

    Del came and assessed my house and recommended blown insulation for my attic. There were also several bats of unused insulation in the attic that his crew laid down. The house is now warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. They did a great job, only small issue is that one of the crew wasn't watching when they ran the hose into the house and scratched the paint on the front door frame.

    Spray foam

    Knights came to spray foam the flat roof and other areas around the house during a major reno. Jake was very informative and provided a competitive quote quickly. The follow up and his responses to all my questions involved additional leg-work on his end and he remained pleasant throughout. Very easy to work with. His team is professional and conscientious. They protected the areas where the spray foam was going to be installed, sprayed efficiently, then cleaned up. Overall a very good experience.

    Attic Insulation

    Knight recently upgraded my attic by putting in additional insulation. The service and work are great! Del is so easy to work with, his assessment was very comprehensive and detail. The crew was efficient and job well done. Highly recommended!

    Upgrading of insulation in attic.

    We engaged the services of Knights to upgrade the insulation in our attic. Right from the very first contact with Anny, through to the cleanup after completion of the job, we were much, much more than satisfied... very pleased indeed! Del's assessment of the job was thorough, his quote was fair and his crew's work efficient, knowledgeable, high quality and very respectful of our home, laying down tarps to protect our carpets and even insisting on removing their shoes to walk through the house (walking on their tarps !!) Be assured, the old fashioned, honest work ethic we may have thought was dead is alive and well at every level of this company! This family run business is hard working, friendly, punctual and trustworthy. Without any hesitation we would recommend Knights Insulation!

    Attic Insulaton - Follow-Up

    Earlier this year (February, 2016), Knights Insulation did what was necessary to make sure our attic was well insulated and everything was as it should be. We could not have been more pleased and unreservedly recommend this Owner-operated family run business. We were again reminded of how terrific Knights Insulation really is when a squirrel somehow got into our attic and disrupted things. Knights Insulation were only a phone-call away to check the attic and give us peace of mind, once Summit Wildlife had got rid of the squirrel. Words of advice, hire Knights Insulation if you need the best insulation and peace of mind as they will follow-up if there are concerns. Also, avoid Pest Control companies to get rid of squirrel, immediately contact Summit Wildlife and you will not be disappointed.
