    Amazing

    Amazing store and customer service! Not sure what all these losers on here are talking about, but Leons is the best, no wonder they have been around for over 100 years.

    great customer service, but can be improved

    I got a queen mattress and box spring from them during their no tax sale. Pro: I decided to write this review b/c this is what happened: I got my delivery on time but the box spring would not fit through the stairs, so the drivers took it back and told me to call the store to either get a refund or pay some more and get the split box. So I call the store right away, and they said they are aware of this but have to wait for the drivers to come back to verify (fair enough). Then I started going online to figure out the pricing for a split box, and how is leon's return policy, and landed on this page with so many negative reviews.. which got me worried. At the same time, I found out that they dropped the price by 100 dollars for the mattress+box set (I paid 749 no tax, now is 649+tax), and the mattress alone now is only 399 (my receipt said i paid 599 for the mattress). So i decided to just have the box returned and get a split box somewhere else. I went to the store later in the day around 5pm. told them exactly what happened, they told me no problem they will give me a refund on the box, and do price match for the mattress. They photo copied my receipt and stuff, told me it will take 5-10 business day to see it on my credit card. 2 days later, I already see the refund in my account. I am very happy with how it turned out, and want to tell ppl that read the reviews here, it really depends on the store you go, and the ppl you are dealing with. I had a good experience with the Richmond Hill, ON Leon's (on yonge st), although there are some cons that I am going to mention below. Con: even though you set up a delivery date, they don't tell you the 3-hr window until the morning of the day. I did not really like how they had a no tax sale to trick you thinking that you have saved money, and then immediately drop the price after the sale. If it wasn't b/c the box didn't fit, I would not go on their site to check the price again, and would never found out that I actually ended up paying more with the no tax sale.

    Delivery Policy

    Terrible delivery policy. Cardholder must be there, wouldn't let my husband sign. Won't buy, because it's not worth taking a day off for a delivery. Need to have a better way.

    Garbage furniture

    You pick up from street is better than to buy Leon store not enough form in sofa, very bad custom service,sale person want money from you ,do nothing. After you bought that is ,end of story for them.please read reviews here before you buy .

    Terrible warranty service

    Warranty service is terrible even the store Manager did nothing to help with our frustration. Never going back ever and letting all our family and friends know how you treat your customers like garbage.

    Sofa and Loveseat

    Beware material was defecctive leons replaced it twice ..I have problems again and now they are stalling..warrenty runs out in a few months..it will be the third time with the same problem...Dont buy from Leons nothing but problems.

    livingroom, family room

    Purchased a sectional sofa October 23rd, it was delivered partially, have been waiting 12 weeks for the other part. Sofa and chair for living room (crap) no refunds. Say it's Canadian made, it's not paying out to buy made in Canada. Sad. Do not buy here!

    Furniture

    If you're moving into a condo downtown don't buy from here. They give you a 6 hour window and will come whenever during it despite being informed about service elevator reservations. The first delivery they came before the reservation. Rushed to make the delivery and gave me broken table, and forgot to deliver a table. We called and set up another delivery 2 weeks in advance for the exchange/delivery. We told them we can only reserve the elevator for 2 hours per day and that we've had to send other movers away who came outside that elevator reservation. They said they'd accommodate us and noted it on the delivery file .Then the day before the delivery they call to say the movers will come between 10 and 2 with only 1 hour being in our reserved time. The customer service agent was so unhelpful and did nothing but waste time . I don't know how they operate but there's no comminication between their departments and none of them seem to care about service. They mess up and don't care about fixing their mistakes.

    Worst company ever

    We paid for a sofa and ottoman in October. It is the end of December now and we still don't have our furniture. We were told 2-3 weeks shipping time, then 4-6 weeks, then no one could trace it. We were told it was in our city, then it was lost for a few weeks, then were told that it had never left the warehouse in Edmonton. They offered us to go pick a new sofa and when we did, we were immediately told that we couldn't have that one because it wasn't in stock. No one at any head office will talk to me. They have blocked me on social media and deleted my posts warning others not to shop here. DO NOT SHOP AT LEONS! Save your money and sanity and go anywhere else.
