    King size mattress too small for bed frame

    I need everyone to read this and share because I don't know how else to spread the word that Leon's Furniture is unreliable, sell unsafe furniture and do not care about their customers whatsoever. My parents purchased a King Size bedroom set, that my husband and I picked out, from Leon's furniture at 301 Britannia Road East in Mississauga back in May as our wedding gift. They spent roughly $6000 on it. We were so happy with the showroom set (Queen Size) on display and thought it looked great. We got the bedroom set and everything came in boxes assembled, except for the bed which we had to put together. We did so, and to our surprise it had a very large gap between the mattress and the headboard/footboard. The bed is also very tall, I'm 5'8" and have to climb up into it. It's the height of almost to my hip. The mattress would move up and down during the night so my husband decided to wedge one of the styrofoam pieces that came with the furniture (about 5 inches wide) to prevent the mattress from sliding around. If that piece isn't there, all of the pillows would fall into the gap at the headboard. Actually, if I sat at the headboard so would the half of my body. Our king size mattress is 78" and the rails are 80". The gap on my bed in the first pictures is about 5 inches wide like I said. Leon's sent a technician to my home yesterday who said that he will let Leon's know that I would like the rails custom made (shortened) to fit the mattress. Leon's called me to tell me that the technician sent them pictures and said there is nothing wrong with the bed! They refuse to take it back because "there is nothing wrong with it" and that they will not do anything for us. If I wanted to send it back "I would have to pay a restocking fee". They will not replace it with any other bed that's safer. They say that I feel that it's not safe and "that's what I feel but it's not accurate". She made it clear that our unhappiness with the product they sold me was not important to Leon's. The manager I spoke with didn't want to tell me who the owner was, or any other information. She said that if I send an email it will just get sent to the store. I'm assuming that nobody would reply because I've sent many emails and nobody replies. She told me that the store manager's name is Gigi. I'm sure that there is someone out there with the same problem. All of the beds I've ever had in my life fit nicely into a bed frame, this I've never seen in my life and would've never purchased had I known.     Sectional Sofa

    I bought a sectional sofa 16 years ago at Leons in Mississauga. It still looks great, no sagging, no fabric fading - it just won't wear out. In my opinion, Leons have VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

    Piece of garbage

    I bought two sofas on sale in April 2017. What I got in delivery are completely different then they keep in store showroom for public to try, Sofa materia is not same as in store showroom and foam is totally piece of garbage, after we used even within three week foam completely dropping, They had a technician call me and he came to look at it and told me it was not repairable. I called Leon's and they said I can not return, have to buy another one but other sofa are very expensive so i choose same sofa so they send me only one but it's same garbage material, foam is gone down no more good to seat now after 6 week. We totally unhappy our hard earn money gone in drain. I will not recommend any one to buy any furniture from leon's

    sofa

    I called up to follow up order, after waiting, was asked for phone no. and said that our last order was only 2010, and Jessica sounds like I didn't place any order as nothing she can see on file(even I told her that pymt has been made) I called again, after a minute, gave the same phone no. and Arizza was able to let me know that still waiting for a chair and will be advised as soon as order completed.

    Poor service, terrible customer service

    We purchased a Queen mattress Premium, Queen Adj and Mattress Protector. The salesperson did not tell us that this bed is not coming with a bed frame so after our delivery we started to set up our bed and then we figured that out. We went to another store to purchase our bed frame. Finally, we came home to finish setting up our bed AND there was ANOTHER surprise! The salesperson ordered and charged a KING mattress protector. I called LEONS South side right away 10 minutes before the store closed and I explained what happened and they said that: They can exchange it but not today because the store will be closed in 5 minutes. I explained that I won't wait until tomorrow because I paid almost $3300.00 for my bed and I WANT TO SLEEP IN MY BED TODAY. I spoke with the supervisor by phone and she said the same thing. Also, It's not my fault to choose the wrong size. And I don't want to make my bed twice when is NOT my fault. I agreed with other reviews, they DON'T CARE after they got your money. I spent $3300.00 and Leon's CANNOT exchange one little thing to make me happy because NO ONE can stay 20 minutes after work. Customer service by phone is very poor, unprofessional, and it's NOT a good service at all. They should be more professional and bring better service to customers. I did not heard any apology from the Supervisor.

    Bench works like a seesaw (Design flaw)

    Bought a Bench from Leon's. When kids/guests sit on the bench it flips from the other end as the bench is too light in weight and cannot hold onto the weight of the person. Brought it to Leon's Mississauga location and they say it's all ok and won't refund or replace the purchase. Couple of kids/Guests have fallen down already. Leon's does not care if anyone would be hurt

    coffee table and end table

    I purchased these items on end table came smashed sent it back came broke my husband glued it so I took a discount the coffee table 50.00 came broke second broke they told me last chance for their mistake this furniture is not worth 50.00 never mind 500.00 never buy anything from here again. This is very sad they blamed me of course you are supposed to take what you get and shut up

    Bedroom set

    I wish I had read these reviews before buying my bedroom set from Leon's!! What people are saying is true. They do not care about you after they receive your money. They hire the best salespeople and put them out front to lure you in. They make promises they have no intention to deliver. I received a damaged bedroom set. I have called several times. They came and exchanged the damaged part and gave me another piece that was even more damaged. I have the pictures to prove it all. I sent the pictures to them. The customer service manager in Brampton is a piece of work. She called and said, " Give me until Saturday. I will give you a call." That was a month ago and still no call. They only care about getting your money and you could rot in hell for all they care. My bed looks horrible. I spent almost $4000 for a bed that looks like I got it at a garage sale. Do not go there!! Stay away from Leon's! You will regret it!! I have the pictures to prove it all.

    Bought a recliner sofa

    CRIPPLING ME UP: something seems to have broken and the sofa is crippling me. Called Leon's to buy another sofa ---- they do not care. Their customer service is just not there. I do not recommend anyone buying from this company.

    Delay and still not receive sofa!!

    I bought two sofas from Leon and I received one of them in a broken condition after 3 months and I still haven't received my love seat after 3 months. I am really upset with Leon company.
