We have used McLaughlin Flooring twice to lay laminate and carpet in our house. We are so very happy with their service and the end product. Our house looks like it should be in a magazine. I highly recommend Rick and Jordan if you want high quality work!

We cannot put into words how happy were were with Mclaughlin Flooring! Rick and Jordan are absolutely professional and know their work! Their teams (we had two different ones, but both amazing) are exceptional workers! We originally had another company planned for our install (of approx. 2000 sqft of flooring), but after a day of shotty work, we told them to not return. In a bind, we contacted Rick. He was so responsive and was able to get a team out to help us out right away. They continued where the other guys had left off and did an exceptional job! Professional, fast work, meticulous attention to detail. We are so happy we found Rick and Jordan! We couldn't be happier! Worth every penny!

Rick McLaughlin is a homeowner’s dream: meticulous, skilled, timely, and fair. From the moment we met Rick for a quote to remove our existing hardwood flooring and level and replace them with new hardwood flooring, we knew we were in good hands. Rick came to our home multiple times to ensure accurate measurements and changes were made to his plan, as we had multiple renovations happening at our home, such as a new stair installation, which affected the flooring. Rick is truly a perfectionist and a craftsman who takes great pride in his work. His concern for the final product makes him a forward-thinking problem-solver. He communicated with our other contractors to ensure that our home would be left in impeccable shape. The job itself took 4 days. One day for removals, and three days for installation. Rick’s team of gentlemen were incredible—courteous, personable, clean. Jordan and Steve’s work was flawless. Our home was built in 1930, and as a result, has its own set of unique quirks and slopes. Rick’s team did a fantastic job levelling what they could, and finding matching baseboards to the original home. We are beyond thrilled with the final product. We are so over-the-moon happy about our new floors! I would recommend McLaughlin Flooring with every single ounce of confidence within me. We have dealt with many contractors over the past year. We used Rick and his team to remove our tile, hardwood and carpet then lay 2100sq.ft. of hardwood in our new home. Rick also installed new baseboards throughout our home. We couldn't of been more happy with his service, quality of work, pricing and professionalism of every member of his team. Rick also put us in touch with a guy for our stairs(Max) and Tile(Vito) - both were just awesome to say the least. We renovated our entire home and Rick and his team were by far the best contractors we had in our home. Rick runs a tight ship and everything came in on time and budget. Rick is always available and his communication is top notch. I would absolutely recommend Rick and his team to anyone - You will not be disappointed!

I found McLachlin Flooring through reading lots of reviews on HomeStars and am really glad I decided to call them. It was an excellent all round experience. Rick McLachlin's quote broke down all the costs and ultimately came in somewhat cheaper than the others. But cost was not the deciding factor. I had got a quote from Home Depot, and while HD were quoting around the same price as McLachlin, all they were going to do was slap hardwood on top of the old inferior surface. Nothing else. No leveling, no baseboards... nothing! I was actually disgusted with Home Despot for quoting so much for such a minimal effort. By contrast, Rick and his team (Jordan, Adam, Steve, Jacob) did an excellent job installing flooring in our old house. They ripped out all the 100 year old hardwood and hideous glued down parquet, nailed down the subfloor (so no more squeaks, yay!), installed the new hardwood, then installed baseboards and quarter-round. About 350 square feet total. The quality of the work is top notch! Everything precise and quite perfect. There were challenges because of the age of the house. The floors were very sloped in parts, bowed in others, but they were brought up amazingly level. The work was done as scheduled and finished on time. They cleaned up very nicely at the end of each day. The final price was in line with the original quote. I bought my own hardwood because Lowe's was having a sale, but Rick would have supplied it with a price totally in line with typical hardwood flooring prices. The job price of $2900 does not include what I paid for hardwood. These guys were a real pleasure to have in my house! Such a nice bunch, so polite and personable as well as skilled. I highly recommend McLachlin Flooring and would give them more than 10 stars if it was an option!

I had the all flooring replaced in my entire house with solid maple. Rick and his team are professional craftsmen. They take pride in their work and are committed to quality. I highly recommend you get them to do the job from start to finish. I tried to save a bit of money by having someone else lay down the subfloor. It ended up costing me time and money in the end. Rick refused to lay down the flooring on a subfloor that were not to his standards. As disappointing as at was to delay the project and have my other guy fix the problem, I was grateful that Rick stuck to his guns, then made time in the team's busy schedule to fit me in only a week later. I was thrilled with the end result! They created perfect transitions at stairways and railings, and got rid of all the creaks! I highly recommend Rick and his team for your next project.

We had our Hardwood floor and Railings Sanded, Stained and Refinished. Rick and His crew did a great job, and the job was done on time as promised.The Hardwood floor and Railings look like new. I would strongly reccomend Mclaughlin Flooring for all your Flooring needs.

Rick and his team of installers were excellent. All work was done on time and very professional and clean. David worked with Rick's company to do my custom staircase. We had 30 year old carpet in all bedrooms and on the stairs. They removed the carpet, screwed down the floor, cleaned, vacuumed, installed the new hardwood in 2 days (about 570 sq ft), shifted heavy furniture, supplied the wood - One stop shopping! So convenient for us. My staircase is beautiful. David was able to sand and re-stain the original oak bannisters and pickets, which saved us some money. Entire project was done seamlessly and on budget. I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent service! Team installed flooring in 3 rooms of my condo in less than 6 hours. They cleaned up my place and even vaccummed the corridor and elevator. Customer Service was top notch and the floor, quarter round they installed and the room separators (I'm not sure of the correct terminology) are perfect. Delighted with their work and service and would recommend them.
