I recently had my flooring installed by Rick. He came through when another installer who came to start work but before he even got his tools out of his truck left to never come back. I called Rick and he came the same day to give me a quote and was able to start the next day. He completed 400sq ft of wood installed in a day and he also installed my baseboards for me. The install was done well beyond my expectations, he even suggested using the hardwood itself as the transition and did a super job of transitioning from tile to wood. I highly recommend Rick and have already recommended him to my neighbours.

Having Rick and Jordan install new hardwood flooring has been an absolute pleasure - twice. You can trust that they will be forthright and stand behind their work. We've had the benefit of using their services twice now (first hickory in the kitchen, then the same through the rest of the first floor the second time) and would look no further were we to need more flooring installed. Rick and his crew were awesome from start to finsh. The job was done very well and very punctual,definitely recommend! I would definitely use Rick in the future for our next renovation.

The project was challenging, in that the floor treads had to be cut to fit each step of the stairs and then stained to match. The house is old so nothing is exactly square. The job went very well and took only two days, with a half day return the following week to address some small concerns I had. Rick, the Operations Manager, was very responsive to my concerns and addressed them all promptly and to my satisfaction. Isaac, who did the work, was very conscientious and made a point of involving me in every decision along the way. I can see why this company has earned the high ratings that it has, and I would definitely use them again!

Rick answered quickly when we were desperate and came on time too. He worked quickly and diligently and got the job done right after we went through a disaster for one month with a different person who couldn't finish our hardwood flooring installation and didn't do it right. Rick was very accommodating and easy to work with. We had hardwood flooring refinished in a new home that we purchased. It was a tight schedule to get the work done but Rick's crew worked over the weekend and even on a holiday to get the job done so that we could move in on time. His crew was very prompt, communicated very well with us regarding the progress of the work and when they would be arriving and leaving the house - they were also helpful steering us toward the perfect colour selection for the refinished floors. They did an incredible job - the floors look absolutely stunning - they actually look brand new! Price was very fair as well.

We had just bought an older home and we were doing a lot of cosmetic work prior to move-in on a tight schedule. Rick performed an amazing transition to our new (old) home, and really showed his experience when it was time to deliver. Rick is the type of person you can give a key to your house to and not worry. He tore out over 2000sqft of carpet and old hardwood, re levelled the floors, screwed everything down, installed (and helped us choose) a beautiful 6" white oak throughout the home, re-did our staircase with hand stained wood to match, laid vinyl flooring in our basement, did all trim work and aesthetic work to really have the work shine. My wife and I are thrilled with the results, and would open our home for him to show people his work anytime. Rick was really good working with me during my renos, as I had a variety of other trades coming through to do unrelated work. Rick, thank you very much!

We had Mclaughlin Flooring install 500 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring on the second floor of our house, removing old flooring and installing new sub-flooring as well. Rick's crew arrived promptly on the day scheduled and punctually the next as well. The site was cleaned up after each day. The installation was done efficiently and we were very happy with the results. (Later we had Mclaughlin Flooring restore the hardwood flooring on our first floor and the stairs. The crew was efficient and did a terrific job of matching the colour to our new second floor).We would strongly recommend this company.

McLaughlin Flooring was great! They worked well with Max from NORD OST to do my stairs and 1200sqft of flooring and trim. Their crew was polite, efficient, and courteous. They double checked or reviewed various aspects of the job with me as they went along. They worked quietly and quickly. Rick checked all his crews work, and did not nickel and dime over extras such as chiseling concrete under the fireplace, or levelling uneven spots. Rick was flexible with allowing me to do the parts of the job I wished to do. He kept his word on his quote. His experience shows and his price is fair. They cleaned up well and accommodated small requests. If you want a professional, very efficient crew who will not try and skip out on the small details McLaughlin flooring is for you. A win-win partnership.
