A roof dam had formed on the front of our house, just above our son's bedroom . A leak had formed and came into the house, just above his bed. I called Tom on a Sunday evening and he was quick to answer. He listened to my story, answered my questions and scheduled an appointment the following day. He and Rom showed up on time and finished the job within the time specified. He provided solutions and next steps. We were very pleased and would recommend this company to anyone. When it comes time to replace our roof...this company will be my first call!

Overall, I am very satisfied by the work completed by Mega City Roofing. Tom was wonderful to work with, is very personable and is always available if you need him. The price is fair, and was in the ball park of other quotes I received, but with a better warranty. The job completion was prompt, the crew was punctual and polite. The roof looks great; I couldn't be happier with the results. My only concern was with the clean up; in walking around my home I am continuing to pick up garbage and a substantial amount of cigarette butts on the driveway and lawn (incl. the neighbour's), as well as roofing nails. Also, there are a few pieces of the old shingles hanging from my neighbour's gutter, which I cannot reach to remove. Overall, however, I am quite satisfied.

Tom and his team were friendly, helpful, competent and professional. The estimate for the roof was comprehensive (no hidden costs or shortcuts to make the price look artificially low). The lifetime shingles come in a gorgeous array of colours and are backed by a great warranty. Work was completed on time and with no mess left behind. I would highly recommend Mega City Roofing.

After reviewing Homestars, and receiving quotes from several companies, we hired Tom to replace our roof shingles / underlayment a couple months ago. He showed up with a small army of workers and had the entire job completed in one day. Roof looks great and no mess left behind. Tom is very personable, responds to messages promptly and answers questions along the way. Very impressed. Highly recommended.

I hired Mega City Roofing based on the positive reviews on Home Stars and I wasn't disappointed. Tom provided a full quote and answered all my questions in a manner that I could comprehend. His crew arrived on time and were always professional and courteous. They protected my deck and driveway and ensured they left both areas absolutely clean. Tom provided me with a full warranty on the shingles and a 10 year warranty on his work. I would highly recommend Mega City Roofing, Tom and his crew!!

I had the roof of my 1930s bungalow completely replaced with new Architectural asphalt shingles, roof deck protection, and leak barrier as well as new metal vents installed. Tom at Mega City Roofing was very informative in his quote and he took the time to explain the work in great detail. I was very impressed with his vast roofing knowledge and his patience in taking the time to explain the process in layman terms. Tom and his team of highly skilled professionals did an amazing job and I’m extremely pleased with the quality of work, timeliness, and cleanup. They clearly have an extremely high work ethic and take great pride in what they do. My Neighbors were also quite impressed with the workmanship and commented on how fantastic the roof looks. I can’t praise this company enough and highly recommend.

I had the flat portion of my roof replaced in a semi-detached 2-story home. There was several layers of previous roofing to remove and some of the wood underneath was rotted. We suspected this so it was no surprise. Tom and his crew were great. They showed up on time and even cleaned up better than it was before! The site supervisor was great to have on hand to ask questions and make sure everything was on schedule. The gutters/evestrough crew also did a great job and all mess was cleaned up - except for a few screws left behind but not a big deal. I am VERY happy with the job Tom and his crews did. They were the cheapest of all the quotes we got - even with the overages of the rotted wood and facia replacement.

When I planned to replace the whole roof systems: roof, eavestjtough, attic insulation, I was skeptical and anxious because of the news I heard about scrupulous and dishonest contractors. Finding one was not easy for me for I don't rely on referrals alone. What I did is to understand all about the whole roofing systems by doing an intensive research about roofing, attic insulation and eavesthroughing. I studied and immersed myself what does roofing entails, what are the steps involved in roof replacement. I learned different types of roofing such as metals, tiles, shingles, etc. Also, there are different kinds of shingles and brand names. I also learned how to calculate how much singles you need once you got your square footage of the roof. This knowledge helps me understand when I am talking with the contractors and be able to follow through whatever they were telling me. My philosophy in life is that ignorance is not an excuse and also to avoid being ripped off and taken advantage of dishonest contractors you got to educate yourself about this matter which are accessible from the internet. I kept these materials as my guide when I started contacting and talking to contractors to make sure that quotes are not overpriced. Besides, I also checked these contractors at BBB and at Homestars. It took me one month to get all the data that I needed for these projects. My house is a semi-detached unit and every bit of info I shared with my neighbor so she too be well informed because we have to do this together and she be able to make right decisions with me. I also set all these data in a worksheet so I can see clearly the comparative features and prices of these contractors. Finally, we made the decision to go with Mega City Roofing Inc after careful analysis and evaluation of this company. Big money is involved in this project and this is going to be done once for a long, long time. Tom and his crew came on time on July 9 and I watched all day long how the work was being done. After the old plywood and shingles were removed, I made sure that work is done the way it should be, according to the materials I read from the internet. The underlayment was put in place, then the 6 ft ice & water shield, the drip edge and then shingles were nailed down to the plywood. From 8 AM to 6 PM, the work was completed. They also put the vents and the turbine on both houses. From the distance, the roof looked very nice. By the way, I chose hunter green which my neighbor disagreed at the beginning. When the work was completed, she was also happy about the result. The color has so much in depth and richness. I am very satisfied for the excellent job these guys did and I am happy that I chose this company to replace the roof. The whole team work in unity and very professional. I had called a number of the top rated roofing companies to attain quotes most of them took my number with promises of a call back the following week to set up an appointment because they were "to busy". But I did not have a week!! I came across Mega City Roofing and decided to give them a call. To my surprise someone who actually knew what they were talking about answered not a receptionist. Tom listened to my leaky roof woes and came out that same day to inspect it and yes actually got up on to the roof. Found out the supposed 5 year roof (as per the previous owner) I had was complete garbage. He quoted me on fixing just the area of issue but also on replacing the whole roof as he found a number of things wrong: signs of an animal trying to get, a number of shingles flapping in the wind that were not applied properly and the flashing all around my chimney was not done properly, he also pointed out that the plywood on the roof was all warped as there was no air circulating throughout the attic because the wood under the soffit vents had never been cut open!! I opted with having the whole roof replaced complete with new plywood and using the GAF Timberline HD product for peace of mind. (Side note I did check out the GAF's website to make sure Mega City was indeed an approved contractor; they were!) Tom and his team showed up when he said they would the team worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job within 2 days. Site was left completely clean. Tom kept in close contact with me as far as sending me pics of the progress and ALWAYS answered his phone which is so rare. He delivered what he promised and was absolutely amazing to work with never have I worked with a trade that was so knowledgeable efficient, and so pleasant to work with. My roof comes with a 20 year guarantee from Mega City and a 50 year warranty from GAF. Not to shabby! Thanks Tom and the entire Mega City staff for doing the job right! I
