When I think of MAW and the team, I think of a company that really cares. They want to execute the vision you and they have developed. They are there for you every step of the way and if there are any issues, they will find a solution. The company and people are professional and go the extra mile to ensure you are happy. Also once the job is done, they don't just leave. They've come back to touch things up. Overall we had a wonderful experience, and that is why we used them twice.

We recently completed a whole home renovation with Men at Work. Throughout the eight months of planning and one year of construction with Men at Work, their service and quality of work exceeded our expectations. From the start to the end of the project, everyone involved was incredible. We visited the site at least once a week and our project manager, John, and site manager, Omar, are both exceptional at what they do. They are a great team, knowledgeable, open communication, personable, responsive, and always kept us up-to-date with the progress. The project was on-budget; they detailed the pros, cons, and recommended solutions. We decided to spend the extra money so that they could bring our dream home to life! The estimated construction timeline for our project was one year and they right on time. When our home was delivered, punch list items were addressed within 3 days. Their after-sales services has been impressive; they are responsive and promptly followed up on any outstanding items. Thank you Men at Work for transforming our house to our dream home!

We contracted MENATWORK for our design & build project involving a full gut and 3rd floor addition to our 100-year-old house. We are thrilled with the finished project and have been extremely satisfied with the whole teams professionalism, responsiveness, and competence - particularly from our project manager, site manager, designer, and architect. They were highly communicative and collaborative throughout the process and continue to lend their support with finishing touches and minor repairs. We developed a lot of trust in their team and are confident in the quality of the work. Wed happily use them again for future projects.

We enlisted Men at Work to renovate the main floor of our 100 year old house in west Toronto. Highly recommend this company. They are extremely organized, professional, and very responsive. The designers, project managers, and contractors were all skilled and a pleasure to work with. We are more than thrilled with the high quality beautiful main floor they completed for us. Renovations can be stressful, but they don’t have to be if you hire the right team. 

We were happy with the design but the project took too long to commence & tho the “punch list” finish was January 28 - we still await many items that are visably apparent. Other items were supposedly “fixed” by people not aware of the situation. Now these “fixes” have to be refixed as the proper trades weren’t called in. Six months after completion and still waiting for “punch list completion. Also this was not a total gut job - upstairs bathroom/bedroom reconfiguration in a well constructed 17 year old home. Not a complicated job, considering MAW’s ability to restore much older homes. As stated we are happy with the design but are disappointed in the “after sale” indifference.

Great job! Project Manager Matthew was outstanding. Claire our designer was amazing as well. Some final touches needed but I'm sure they will take care of it shortly. Very professional.

Total rebuild (renovation) of our house in Bloor West. Only thing we kept were the two side walls. Extended back about 12' (basement too). Paul was fantastic to deal when we were looking around at companies. We met with about 5 and Paul was the only one to visit the house and talk w/ us. We went w/ M@W and weren't disappointed. Matthew was our PM and he was great to deal with. The construction process was delayed a bit due to foundation issues but the solution implemented was exactly what we we preferred. We were always kept informed, given lots of options and always knew what was going on. Natalie assisted us in the design and she and her team were also very good. Very happy with the choices made and the options we had. Long story short - we came inside our budget, got what we wanted and are very happy.

Men at Work did a fantastic renovation of my first floor. Paul, the owner of Men at Work, listened carefully to my ideas and concerns and ensured I was completely satisfied, as the work progressed. The result was a modern, practical and attractive living space. Paul has assembled a highly creative and professional team. Many thanks go to John, Natalie, Cory, Stephen, Eric and the rest of the staff for their hard work and dedication.

Paul the owner was very professional when he came to our house and listened to everything we wanted to do to our 1925 home. He came back with realistic goals and pricing that addressed our needs. Working with the in house Architect was easy and revisions were quickly done. We had to go to the Committee of Adjustments which was also dealt with promptly and professionally. Natalie our award winning designer listened carefully to us and worked with us to create the perfect space. She met us at stores around the GTA and at our home to make sure the final result was everything we dreamed of. Our Project Manager Daniel was a perfect match for us. He always listened, updated us on a daily basis and met with us at the property to show us the progress being made and answer all our questions. Little touches like taking a bottle of wine to our neighbours after a day of hammering were extra touches that made a lasting impact. Our project was completed on time and met all our expectations. It is beautiful and very functional. Daniel still keeps in touch and is always ready to return to the house to fix any small problems we have had as the house settles and we get familiar with our new space. Men at Work wants to please and we always feel like they are ready to field our concerns or questions even after the renovation has been completed. I highly recommend Men at Work. They may cost more than some of your other quotes but the quality of their work, their professionalism and their personal customer service is top notch!

With a newborn baby and 3 year old we found ourself in a typical situation many people face: move or renovate. With no time, expertise or desire to contact out and design everything on our own MAW was the answer to our problem. We said from the onset that we needed more space and storage in our house and Keith and Natalie designed a functional home with lots of storage for our growing family. Not to mention Natalie designed the most beautiful kitchen and fabulous bathrooms. We had just a few design ideas and it was Natalie who took the words "classic and elegant" and made that into reality. Our project manager Kyle was great to work with and always provided answers to our many questions. Everyone we interacted with at MAW was great.
