    leather chair

    my wife bought me a chair that didn't fit. I phoned company to see if i could exchange. No problem,excellent attention,service and time spent and my wife said the delivery guys were great. I've now have a new favourite chair! Done with a friendly no hassle approach that was absolutely refreshing. thank you Patrick, Matt and Glenn

    Couch Purchase

    I had a terrible experience at G.H. Johnson, but not due to the helpfulness or attentiveness of staff. I've never witnessed such a disorganized environment that undermines staff competence so much. Pricing information for featured website items was on one old duotang always lost, staff didn't communicate, wrong items were received- it was as if the system was made to ensure the staff failed in every task. I asked if they kept a computer database on major products and inventory, and a staff member looked at me like I was crazy. Unfortunately, they made minimal profit on me, as so many errors in pricing, ordering and shipping were made. They were very accomodating at dropping the price to make me happy, which I absolutely commend. I just wished they didn't have to do it for their sake. The company offers great products at reasonable prices and the customer service reps and managers are friendly and helpful- it's just the shocking lack of any system that means a complicated and difficult experience. Many coworkers have said the same. Hopefully they can stay in business and get their act together! If they do, I will be a very loyal customer.

    Bedroom furniture

    I had a great experience shopping at GH Johnson! The sales person was helpful, furniture delivered in five days and arrived on promptly on the delivery day. Since a cream bench was not in stock, the company sent along another to borrow until the new one comes in. The people delivering were efficient and very helpful. I called the company a couple of times to change my order and they responded immediately and politely. Price point was excellent. Thanks to GH!

    Kincaid Dinning room set

    We purchased the kincaid table at G & H defore x-mas 2008 we we offered a loaner table if it was not to arrive in time for oue orthadox x-mas in january. Fortunatly the table arrived on time assembled in our home and was in perfect condition.

    Redecorating Lining Room

    My husband and I were in the market for new living room furniture. I drive by your store every day on the way to work. We visited the store on Jan 11/09 during your Boxing Week Sale. It was quite busy so we asked the manager for an available salesperson. We were assigned Jennifer. She was very patient, informative and very helpful in helping with the color scheme. It appears that she had some background in decorating. We were very pleased with her service. She was very friendly and did not rush us to complete the sale. She event went the extra mile to ask her manager to reduce the price of our purchase a little more than it was. The delivery service needs a little improvement. The delivery date was rescheduled 3 times, but when we finally received our furniture the service was good. The delivery men were friendly and careful. They even commented on the beautiful color of the couch. I definitely would shop at your store again.

    Master Bedroom furniture

    The showroom experience was good but the delivery was a nightmare. First delivery date - no show. Second Delivery date - showed up and put furniture together, but draws under bed were not delivered and bed was damaged. Third visit - Draws for the bed were the wrong size, assessed bed damage and said someone else would come out to repair it. And on it went.

    Sofa

    I just wanted to say that I was absolutely thrilled with the service and product I recieved through this company. The customer service rep I dealt with was very helpful and seemed to be very knowledgeable regarding the product info. shipping, etc. My sofa was shipped on time and with great care. I would absolutely deal with this company again.

    Klausener Sectional

    I purchased a Klausener sectional in November08'. I had made the down payment and was told by sales rep that i would pay the balance upon delivery (which is also indicated on the back of the receipt)of the sofa. Early January 09 i recieved a call from a man that worked there (which i later found was no longer employed with the company a few days later)to confirm delivery date of sofa. A week later I noticed a $1000 plus charge on my VISA. This charge was not authorized by myself nor was i informed that there was a charge that was going to be made on my VISA. I called GH JOhnson, and it took practically a full day to get answers as they were giving me the 'run around', when i finally spoke to a female (ALISSA) she did not apoligize but said that the charge would be reversed. Two weeks later i checked my VISA and NO REVERSE charges were made!!! Therefore had to call back and was given the RUN Around again. I spoke to the original sales rep (who also does not work there any more Ricky)and again the RUDE behaviour prevailed. Charges were never reversed, no apoligy was noted and to top it off after a few months of waitin the the WRONG SOFA was delivered. On top of it being the wrong sofa, this sofa was FILTHY!! This sofa had a footprint on it,was stained with who knows what, and some crust marks on the pillows. I again called, was given the RUN AROUND AGAIN, Finally they told me that MY SOFA that I had PAID in FULL was put in storage and then accidently put in the showroom and was sold. THEY SOLD MY COUCH THAT I PAID FOR IN FULL. Currently I am with a filthy nasty loaner sofa pondering on what to do next. I will NEVER SHOP here again, it is the worse CUSTOMER SERVICE, and DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, RUDE and ABNOXIOUS. I also agree with other reviews that the '10' rating is FABRICATED. I'm sure there is a GH Johnson team dedicated to writing the '10' rating reviews. It must be coincicdental that all the low rated 0-1 reviews all share common themes ie. RUDE staff, YOUR PAID in FULL furniture sold to other customers (WTF), and banged up furniture. TRUST ME DO NOT SHOP HERE...you are looking for trouble and headaches. I plan to take this to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU

    Dining Room Table and Chairs, Leather Couch and Chair

    I had been looking for a couch for some time and had been taking pictures of everything I thought I might like. Pat Johnson took a look at my pictures and gave me a price that you wouldn't believe on the same product. In the end, I didn't end up buying it, but something much better that was more than twice as expensive at Elte. It's a great place.

    firniture purchase

    service was excellent . products were abundant professional decorating consultation . good prices . they were reliable and offered adjuct serices such as pictures and art work and bedding .
