We cannot say enough good things about Milorad. We have undertaken a fairly substantial renovation in recent months and have dealt with numerous different trades and contractors and Milorad managed to distinguish himself from the rest before setting a single tile—he responded promptly to our initial inquiry, quickly arranged for a convenient consultation and was extremely pleasant to talk to. It would be nice if such qualities were the norm, but this has not been our experience. Customer service like Milorad’s is in short supply. Milorad’s actual work was also wonderful. We wanted a complex pattern requiring a lot of cuts for our backsplash and we also had walls that were anything but even—but you would never know this from seeing the final product. Milorad was so precise and thorough, taking his time with each tile and not moving on to the next until he was completely happy with the positioning, and he managed to compensate for all of the imperfections our 100-year-old walls threw at him. Milorad was also incredibly careful as he worked in our newly renovated kitchen, taking pains to ensure that our cupboards, floors and appliances were well protected. And, finally, although the job ended up taking him longer than he’d estimated (due to all of the issues with our uneven walls), he stuck to his original quote. We love our backsplash and have had so many compliments on it. We would recommend Milorad without hesitation, and will definitely be using him again when we are ready to renovate our bathroom.

I decided to give Milorad a chance based on the reviews here, as well as the discussions we had when he came to scope out the work. He was always very pleasant and very knowlegeable. In the interview he stated how he takes the time he needs to do the job right, that he doesn't rush the job, even though he gets paid by the job and not by the hour. When doing the kitchen floor, he could have rushed to do it in one day, but he knew my schedule had extra days in it so he ended up spending most of 2 days to do the floor, taking his time to do as good a job as he could. When doing the backsplash, he suggested additional tiling behind the stove and fridge to improve the look, even though it meant more work (and many cut tiles) for him to do. He was genuinely interested in a good end result. He was always willing to answer my questions in a very pleasant manner and was very open to my suggestions. When checking the tiles beforehand, I marked the flaws on the tiles and he was very attentive to try to use these flawed tiles either where they wouldn't be seen, or when the tile coulr be cut to avoid the flaw. I was quite pleased with Milorad and would use him again.

Milorad is a true professional! From the time we contacted him through Homestars - he got back to us right away, showed up to estimate the job on time (even early) and did a wonderful job on our kitchen backsplash. This level of service is rare these days! We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Milorad did an exceptional job. The basement area to be tiled was complicated due the curvature of the floor and the number of closets. I couldn't be happier with the work he did and wouldn’t hesitate to refer him. I had to book him more than a month out and now I understand why.

We first met Milorad about half a year ago, in autumn 2009, when we needed to tile floors of our porch enclosure (porcelain) and in one of the washrooms (marble). It is going to sound like a cliché but Milorad’s work was simply exceptional. He always showed up on-time, was very meticulous with attention to every detail and was leaving all areas clean before leaving for the day. When the job was done we were very happy with the results. So, it is no surprise that we called Milorad again when we decided to reno our washrooms. We had to wait for a few weeks for Milorad but all I can say is that he is definitely worth waiting for. He just finished our washrooms last Thursday and again - exceptional work! And this is all despite some complications that we had to face. First of all, we had to expand the scope a little. Second, just a few days before Milorad was supposed to start, I have injured my back and couldn’t complete some small drywall jobs that had to be done before tiling. Well, Milorad managed to solve all of our problems! One more thing that I must add is that Milorad is a rare example when a great quality job comes with more than reasonable price. I hope my review will do justice to Milorad. He completed a tiling job for us last week - our entry level and a powder room where he did the floor as well as the walls. He did an incredible job and was meticulous throughout. He spent a long time figuring out the very best layout given our awkward space. The wall tile consisted of marble circles on mesh - tile I assumed was hard to lay and cut - but the end result was perfect. We felt his price was extremely reasonable and especially so given the quality of his work. Also, Milorad came on time, worked long days and was gracious at all times. We have already scheduled him for an additional bathroom renovation. Thank you Milorad for such a great job.

Last fall we did a significant reno on our new (old) home. Faced with 400 sqft of 12x24 tiles laid in a herringbone pattern on a uneven floor, 3 bathrooms including 2 shower surrounds and wall tiles, a 3-sided floor to ceiling fireplace and kitchen backsplash, Milorad came through like none other with a first rate job. We are very pleased with the work that Milorad did and would recommend him to anyone. The only shortcoming may be that it took a bit longer for him to complete the work then he expected but in our case this did not impact our schedule as we were working nights and weekends anyway. He was there everyday including many weekends and brought his son along to help as well, so it is not that he wasn't on the job but just making sure everything was done right. If I had a issue with something he dealt with it. He was a great person to work with and the results speak for themselves, gladly have him back again.

Just had Milorad complete the backsplash in our kitchen. He transformed our bland walls into a work of art! A great guy to work with, someone you can trust your home with. This is the second kitchen backsplash project that Milorad has tackled for us. As with the first one, he did an exceptional job: he's always very punctual, respectful, diligent and detail-oriented. It's clear that Milorad prides himself on providing an exceptional customer experience, which is why we will continue to use his services in the future for other tiling projects. You simply can't go wrong with Milorad!
