    replace kitchen sink faucet

    I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Jocelyn for the excellent service work he provided on Jan 22nd 2013. Our kitchen is very old and needed an urgent repair in a very tight space. This is our second time having Jocelyn in, and he will definitely be my first call next time I need plumbing work done. He is very friendly, and went the extra distance to ensure our problems were solved. He was punctual, the price was exactly as quoted, and he encouraged me to follow up with him at any time.

    Plumbing

    Quite satisfied with the service. The contractor was professional and courteous. He finished his work quickly and he did a fine job. Did not face any more problems after that.

    Waterproofing

    Steven came to do a quote. It was much more reasonable than expected, Work was done quickly and effeciently. It has been almost 2 years and no leaks since. I have a lifetime warranty also. Steven was very nice to deal with.

    Bathroom

    Thanks guys for looking after my grandmothers condo bathroom issue with water not draining. They did a great job, she was for once, stress free and I was happy to hear, they were on time, friendly and gave her a discount for being an elderly lady. Much appreciated.

    Lead Pipe replacement

    Generally quite happy with the level of service provided by New Canadians, with one major caveat. The lead pipe leading from the street to our house actually runs mostly on the neighbor's property (its a semi-detached house with a single line that splits closer to the house). Before hiring New Canadians, we asked our neighbors if they wanted to do the same thing (as a cheaper rate would be available). They decided not to, so we went ahead without them. It wouldn't have been a big deal except that we didn't know the line was on the neighbor's property until we had already hired New Canadians and they had dug up the neighbor's yard. Both us and the neighbors were totally surprised that the digging was being done on the neighbor's property, and New Canadians never advised us, never asked us if it was OK to do so, and more importantly, never asked the neighbors. Fortunately, we have very nice neighbors and they were reasonable about the whole thing...otherwise this could have been a big mess for us, our neighbors and New Canadians.

    new water service line, clean outs and back valve

    City of Toronto is demanding water meters be installed in every home. Unfortunately my water service line had to be replaced. I received 3 quotes in total and they all seemed to be in the same price range. But I felt more comfortable & reassured with Stephen the drain technician at new Canadian. Stephen and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish. The 2 guys responsible for digging the nine foot hole through rocks and mud and ROOTS did an excellent job. They took extra care around my place to make sure things were kept clean and neat. They did a tremendous amount of work and I'm very grateful. Not only did I have the water service line replaced but also 2 clean outs in the sewer line to help with the cites tree roots that are in my pipe but also a back valve to prevent back up into my basement. After all is said and done you can't even tell that they were there except now I have the proper clean outs installed. Thanks guys for a great job well done. Andrew

    Major Basement Leak

    Long story short, looked for companies around the Halton region and came across New Canadian Drain & Plumbing Ltd..they came in, assessed the situation, and had everything fixed in a matter of hours! Highly recommended :)

    Two bathroom sinks and toilets

    The quote was very good. I was given a "bundle" deal because I had a lot of jobs to do - 2 sinks, 2 toilets, etc. The plumber was friendly and did a good job. When I had a small concern, they sent someone right away to fix the job. We were happy with the end result.

    Main line replacement

    Outstanding service provided by New Canadian. An example of what excellent customer service is. I had an odd leak in my basement and called New Canadian. Frank was first to arrive and determine there was a clog, but would need a snake to determine cause, severity and how to fix it. Steve then arrived with his camera to assess the damage and confirmed collapse of a small part of my very old clay pipe. After a very detailed and thorough explanation of the issue, he explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He was very pleasant to deal with. They had two guys, Marcus and Max, at my house at 8 the next morning (this after Steve was at my house until 9 the night before) and immediately got to work. Very professional, very thorough, proposed new solutions and it looks like they did a very good job. They showed me where there was some shoddy plumbing work from the previous homeowner and said they would correct it – they even installed a new toilet for me and bought better screws, etc. than what came with the toilet. On the con side, my basement leads up to the kitchen and the kitchen to the rest of my house – the doorway from kitchen to house was left open (not tarped off) so my main floor was layered in dust. And while I appreciate them getting the job done in two days, I felt their boss was too hard on the guys as they spent 13+ hours at my house the second day with no lunches or breaks to finish the work. Marcus and Max were exhausted. I would have been perfectly fine with them coming back a third day to finish the job. When these guys are doing hard manual labour, they get tired quickly and when people are tired, mistakes can be made. They should have been allowed to call it a day after 9 or 10 hours max. But that’s nitpicky stuff. They did an excellent job and I’d highly recommend them.

    Leaky bathtub

    Yves and Steve fixed the leak in my bathroom that had leaked through and threatened to wreck the ceiling area above my kitchen. Friendly, courteous and fast. Yves in particular was very helpful in sharing his expertise and explaining what was being done and why, which was very much appreciated. I will probably be calling them again soon to update my main shutoff valve as I now know how good the service is at New Canadian Drain & Plumbing.
