Great company! We had our AC unit installed last Spring with this company and we're completely satisfied with their work. The installers were professional and tidy and left nothing behind. Price was great, compared to other companies we called. 100% recommend.

We have used Northwood twice in the last couple years....we origionaly saw them on Holmes on Holmes so we tried calling them when we needed work done. They did a great job and we would recomend them to friends that needed work done for sure. My only negative comment would be that we had trouble with scheduling on our second job....we had very specific days that we needed them in because our reno counted on certain things happening on certain days and we were a little dissapointed in some miscommunication with regards to that. In the end it all worked out though and our house is nice and warm this winter.....

I was very impressed with the thorough nature of the estimate we received on the work planned. Their price was very similar to 3 other contractors we contacted. The crew who did the job were quick and very tidy. So far, the equipment has worked great for the first 18 months. My only complaint would be regarding the manner in which Northwood dealt with the return of my rental water heater to Enbridge/Direct Energy. Somehow, either my tank or its paperwork got misplaced for about 6 weeks, so I was charged additional rental time on this tank. I think I could have returned the rental tank cheaper and more efficiently myself. I recently contacted Northwood with a warranty related question regarding my furnace and they had a technician at my house within one hour of mly call. Now that's impressive!!

Had Northwood install a new Furnace, AC Unit, Heat Recovery Unit and Hot Water Tank. While they were not the cheapest in price, we were impressed by the professional way they conducted business from the office staff, through to the installers. They did a great job very impressed . Northwood also re- routed our Dryer Vent along with Duct Cleaning, again very well done. Would highly recommend this company. Jim Brampton

Gave me a good quote, scheduled a time. They came close to the scheduled time. Installation was done very professionally. Installer was very knowledgable and even cleaning after the job was finished

I selected these guys after seeing them in Holmes on Homes. I had not had good luck with others who seemed to be very confused and lost with our electronic DC motor driven HVAC from Carrier. They showed up, were very polite, worked hard, called in another of their guys when they felt they were over their heads. All fixed, price reasonable (they did not charge me for the time they spent scratching their heads and discussing the approach). All in all a very professional and knowledgeable lot. The lady who answers the phone is very nice and helpful too. I feel I can call them and have them work on our systems without looking over their shoulder. I don’t even have to be there, as long as someone is home, they just go to work. I did recommend them to my mum and they performed very well for here too.

Jian Yu came over and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He figured there was a leak due to a blockage in the pipe. He cleared the blockage and soldered on a better pipe. Problem solved. Great job!

The first time time I contacted Northwood was the first summer when we moved to the new house. For some reason, after we started using the air conditioning and for some reason after a few hours it stopped working. I researched on sever review sites, including HomeStars, and found good references for Northwood. We booked an appointment in the next few days. They arrive at the time we agreed, assessed the situation and solve the problem replacing a faulty water pump. Since then I use their services for the furnace and air conditioning regular maintenance. Just last year when they were doing the maintenance they spotted a gas pipe that was placed on the wrong location and against code and regular security measures. It was left that way by some Enbridge contractors who replaced the gas lines in the whole neighbourhood and didn't do a good job. They reported the issue, and that helped to force Enbridge to come again and do the job properly this time. Northwood even followed up to see how the issue was solved. This is certainly good quality service. I thought their services would we more expensive than average due to their relations with some well known TV home renovation shows, but it was a pleasant surprise they are not. The only difference is they pay a lot of attention to their service and their reputation, which end up being good for their clients.

We were very impressed by Northwood's products and services. Our house needed all sorts of improvements that Northwood provided. Even better was their flexibility. We wanted to have an energy audit done before they installed anything. They were more than willing to accomodate that. They even helped us with the energy audit. The quality of their work was also amazing. The were able to replace the furnace, water heater and bathroom fans in less than two days.
