    Dishwasher Valve Replacement

    We called Peter to come take a look at our dishwasher as it had started leaking unexpectedly on Family Day. Peter came the next day at the time he said he would. He was able to diagnose the issue with our dishwasher quickly and promised to come back in 2 days with the new parts. He also provided a breakdown of the expected costs for the repair. Peter came two days later just as he said he would, he was able to quickly repair the machine with the new parts and he stayed to run a test cycle as well. He also gave us a thorough explanation of what went wrong in our machine and why it was leaking. Peter is very professional, he even brought a pair of clean indoor shoes to change into when he was inside the house - very considerate! Thanks Peter for doing such a great job, we will recommend you to friends & family and be sure to call you again if we require any further repairs on other appliances. - Tiffany & Bruce

    Washer repair

    E-mailed Pambis Appliance to look at my single-unit washer-dryer which wasn't filling with water. They called me back on the morning of the next business day and we booked an appointment. Peter quickly determined that the water switch on the dryer wasn't working and ordered a replacement part. He returned to my apartment on the next business day and promptly installed the switch and got my washer working again. He was timely, approachable, friendly and answered questions about both the immediate repair job and future maintenance on the washer-dryer unit. Very pleased to know of such a reliable repair service.

    Washer Repair

    I live in a condo in the downtown core and my washer was leaking water from a broken valve and worn down hoses. The condo super intendant had to shut off my main water supply for 3 days to prevent water damages to the unit below. Several other repair companies would not service the downtown core except for Pambis. After submitting my problem and appliance model information to their website, Pambis' office coordinated a visit for the next day but Peter was able to fit me in for that same afternoon. Peter was professional, very knowledgable about the washer and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. The repair could not be done in a single visit, so Peter capped the water connection to the washer in order for me to resume using water in the condo without the leakage. When the replacement part came two days later, Peter promptly returned and installed the new valve, no problem. I am very satisfied with the service at Pambis and would highly recommend this company.

    Dishwasher repair

    We called Peter last month for a broken fridge. I was glad to see he also does dishwashers--our dishwasher stopped working on Christmas eve. It didn't clean at all on the top rack, and the bottom wasn't so great either. The door springs were also broken, causing the door to crash down whenever you opened it. Anyway, even over the phone Peter knew what was wrong and fixed both problems in under an hour. He is knowledgeable, personable and very tidy with his repair, leaving not even a drop of water on the floor when he was done.

    Oven not working

    My oven wasn't working and I called several places before speaking with Chris from Pambis. He walked me through some troubleshooting items and BAM my oven started working! Turns out I simply needed to set my clock (as it was blinking) in order for the oven function to work. His advice saved me the $79 service call charge. Thanks Chris!

    Appliance Repair

    Peter did a great job repairing a leak in our Whirlpool fridge. He cleared the ice build up and installed a new drain tube kit which effectively addressed the problem. He was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Before and during the repair he clearly explained to us what he was doing and why. The price was as quoted. We were very pleased with his work and have no hesitation recommending Pambis Appliance Service to our family and friends. Thanks again for the great service!

    Repair dryer

    My dryer was not working properly and another appliance guy took my money but gave me no satisfaction. Peter Pambis knew what to do right away. He took apart the dryer, went away with the drum, then came back two days later and voila! My dryer is working as if new. I would highly recommend (and I do) Peter to everyone.

    Fridge fan fix

    We just wanted to thank Peter for coming out so quickly and finding the problem with our refrigerator. You made time for us before your first appointment on a Monday morning and was able to have our fridge up and running within an hour at a more than fair price. You were pleasant, efficient and honest; which now a days is incredible. We will definitely call again should we have any other appliance issues. Thanks for all your suggestions and help, Lena

    Washer and dryer purchase and installation

    Pete was amazing! I have limited space in my home so I had to buy a smaller unit. Pete was able to get me the GE 24” stackable unit at a great price. Because the space is slightly complicated, Pete reviewed all options with me on how to place the units to optimize access to my furnace, water heater, etc. He was timely and answered all my calls and questions. Excellent customer service!

    Oven/Stove Repair

    My gas range/electric oven started beeping with an error message on the electronic display. I was able to complete part of the repair myself but then got beyond my own expertise and sent Peter an online message asking for some help/advice. He wrote me back, then followed up with a phone call helping me to investigate a bit further and diagnose the likely problem. He respected my wish to continue with the repair myself and ordered the part for me. It was delivered directly to my home within a couple days. I've now installed the part and appliance is working great. Peter was very generous with his time and advice - professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Pambis Appliance.
