My dryer stopped working so I called Pambis. Pete was very responsive and came over to take a look very quickly. (I was very impressed that he brought a blanket to lay on the floor in front of my stacked W/D unit to protect the floor as he worked.) He found the problem very quickly (fried thermostat) and had the part on had. Dryer was up and running again in no time! Thanks Pete!

I was having problems with the keypad of my kitchenaid dishwasher. Any button I pressed on would just flash but couldnt select any cycles or even start the machine. After going online and googling my brains out, I got fed up and called Peter from Pambis appliance service. Peter came by and diagnosed a shorted keypad. Within 2 days, Peter came back, installed the new part, and I lost my job as the new dishwasher to my Kitchenaid dishwasher. What a relief, thanks Peter for all your help.

Peter helped us during an appliance crisis in one of our tenanted apartments. His response time exceeded expectations and attention to detail/problem solving instilled much peace of mind for us. Having heard so many horror stories about contractors I was very nervous when I needed some work done. Searching the web I discovered HomeStars and through them Peter Pambis. I had a new gas range delivered the week before Christmas, and had requested connection through the same supplier, somehow my request went astray. I emailed Peter on the Friday, he called me within an hour and we set an appointment for Monday. Peter let me know he was on his way, turned up on time, disconnected the old range and connected the new with a minimum of fuss and mess. I was extremely happy with Peter’s work and have every intention of using his services again. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter to anyone who is looking for service to their appliances.

My washing machine broke Saturday night (wouldn't empty of water) so I called Pambis Appliance immediately. Service call was Monday lunchtime, Pete showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, talked me through my options then fixed the problem without delay. Service was prompt, reliable, and respectful. I'm delighted and I heartily recommend Pambis to anyone.

Peter is a true professional. I was impressed the moment he walked in the door and put on his clean 'house shoes'. The attention to detail started there. A moving blanket to rest the stove on and protect my hardwood floors. A padded runner to set his tools out on to protect my counter tops. As you can guess, his repair work was also impeccable and Peter took the time to explain it all to me in layman's terms. I had a problem at around noon with my washing machine, sent an email at around 2, Peter came the same day as email sent, maybe an hour after I sent the email, fast friendly and professional!

We moved into our renovated home a couple of years ago and have always found our Frigidaire dishwasher to be loud. It had been getting worse lately, and we decided something had to be done. Peter was quick to reply to my email inquiry, did a diagnosis over the phone and gave his estimate. When he arrived to inspect the dishwasher he very politely changed into indoor shoes without being asked, and had protective mats for both the floor and the counter where he put some of his tools. It turns out that the dishwasher wasn't entirely properly installed, which Peter fixed, and he was able to diagnose and solve the noise problem with a bit of creative thinking, and without any replacement parts necessary. He was able to walk us through some helpful maintenance we could undertake ourselves to help extend the life of the dishwasher, and gave the machine a good once over to make sure the seals were all in good order. A couple of $15 replacement seals later (it was clear, even to me, that the old seals were falling apart), the dishwasher is operating better than it ever had before. And we have piece of mind that the machine was going to keep working well for the foreseeable future. He even gave us tips on maintenance for our fridge while he was here. I can't recommend Peter enough. Friendly, thoughtful, and budget conscious.
