    Asphalt Roof Replacement

    Our experience using Penfolds for our roof replacement was very good. Estimate for the work needed was clearly presented, with several options offered for different types of shingles they offer. We called them for an estimate because our neighbours had a good experience using them. In total, we got estimates from 4 roofing companies. We decided to go with Penfolds based on their warranty and positive reviews. Another reason was because they were able to arrange for the chimney repairs we needed to be done at the same time. Other roofing companies didn't offer this. We got an estimate for the chimney work separately and it was much higher than what Penfolds charged us (more than double) for that part of the job. The workers were pleasant, arrived on time each day, and kept our yard and driveway free of clutter. The job was completed within the timeframe we were quoted (3 days) The only complaints we have are 1) we were told at the time of the estimate that the work would be scheduled within 2 weeks, but after 3 weeks we were told it would be another 2 weeks before it could be started. Since we were selling our home, we needed it completed right away, and once we insisted on this, it was scheduled a few days later. 2) we were not warned that roof replacement work could cause items to fall off the walls from the shaking. A large framed picture fell from a high shelf and nearly hit me while I was working at my desk on the lower level of the house. 3) there were quite a few chunks of old roof, bits of cut flashing and plastic wrap pieces littered around the ground around the house afterwards. In all, it was a positive experience and I would recommend Penfolds. The roof looks great and I think it helped us to sell our house so quickly.

    Re-Roof

    Went from Tar and Gravel to the Ziplok Metal Roofing System. From first meeting to last, the process was Top Notch and everybody, Norm, Randy, Ron and crew were professional and a real pleasure to deal with. Thanks Again Guys, Great Job!!!

    New Building Roof

    I am building my dream house in North Vancouver and hired Penfolds to install the roofs for the house and garage. From the moment I stepped into the Penfolds office to make some inquiries, I was treated very well and made my decision to go with them almost immediately. The 2 main reasons for my decision were: 1. The reputation of Penfolds. 2. The salesman, Jose. His product knowledge and ease at explaining the process instilled confidence in me. They installed the roofs efficiently and their service was great - I am extremely happy with my fine looking metal roofs.

    Roofing

    We used Penfolds for a shake-to-shingles re-roofing job on our house. Sean was very helpful answering questions up-front, and we chose Penfolds over the others with similar estimates because of their full labour+materials warranty. We were happy with the crew and the speed and quality of their work, and the result looks great. Scheduling and communication from the company could have been better, but overall we were very satisfied and we would use Penfolds again.

    Re-Roof

    We had a great experience with both Sean Crowther and Penfold's Roofing. Sean was very helpful in discussing options and answering all my questions. I also appreciated that he got back to me quickly whenever I had a question or concern. I was happy with the roofing team working on the house. They were professional, and the house and yard were left clean and in good condition. I also appreciated how they let us know when they would be working on the skylights so we could make sure we weren't in the washroom at the time. I'm very satisfied with our decision to choose Penfold's, and would recommend both the company and Sean to my friends and family.

    Re-Roof

    We lost 80% of the south side of our roof during the August 29th, 2015 Lower Mainland wind storm. We lined up 3 estimates but only 2 came through. One of these companies had an ad hanging on our doorknob by the next morning and a representative here within 2 days -- that's impressive! Penfolds had Sean Crowther here within the week, he did a thorough inspection, including climbing up in the attic, reported on his findings, explained our options and had a complete estimate to us before he left, followed with the printout shortly thereafter. Sean was clear and concise and made a good impression when he asked, "What do I need to do to secure your business?" He also followed up within a day or so with a phone call. After comparing our options, we decided to go with Penfolds. We agitated a bit due to the approaching rainy season, but understood that there were many roofs more damaged than ours. October 14th the materials were delivered, the old shingles removed, and the job was finished the following day. The work crew were polite and careful; security measures were followed. We won't know until we have a heavy rain, but we are very pleased with the job.

    Roof

    Thank you Michael and the Penfold's team! My roof was in very rough shape, living with drips and tarps, my only regret was that I didn't call sooner. The workers were very professional, polite and left my yard cleaner than when they started. Thank you again you lifted a lot of stress, forgot what it was like to have a good night sleep!

    Roofing

    We found Michael very friendly, knowledgeable and professional when he came to give us a quote. He provided prompt service all through the process of getting our roof done, and ensured that he followed up once the work was completed. The installers worked efficiently and at the end of the day ensured that no mess was left behind. Overall we were very satisfied with the service provided as well as with our new roof.

    Roof

    Requested an estimate, rep Michael came in, was very friendly, up front, honest and clear, he did not come off like a salesman at all, which was good. Roofers came in and were exceptional in the care they took in disposing of the old roof. It was late September and I was astonished how careful they were to protect the surrounding garden, fence, etc, I wasn't expecting it at all. Everything went above and beyond my expectations. Price was very slightly above what we would have paid elsewhere, but we went with higher upgrade options that weren't offered by their competitors, so we were happy to spend it. I was actually surprised how close they came, I thought given their name, they'd be substantially more. Glad we chose Penfolds.

    Re-roof cedar shake to asphalt .

    I found the quality of work and the customer relations unequalled. All aspect of the job were handled professionally and I especially appreciated the daily cleanup. The workers were polite, considerate and didn't waste any time. Also management follow- up was consistent and personal. I will have no problem recommending Penfold to anyone considering roofing their home. I would like to personally thank Micheal Shoeman for his personal attention to all aspects of the job!
