    Project: Roof Replacement

    After contacting two other roofing companies, I got in touch with Penfolds Roofing to discuss replacement of my original cedar shake roof with asphalt shingles. Although their quote was a bit higher, I opted for Penfolds because of their excellent reputation and warranty. I cannot say enough about the patience and professionalism of Jonathan Manca our project manager. I would certainly recommend Penfolds Roofing after a first-rate experience.

    Re-Roof

    Ken Hildebrand (the chimney guy) was here yesterday and finished up the roof work. All the Penfold's employees were great. They did excellent work and the cleanup was very good! Excellent job by all! Well done! Thank you! Regards, Larry

    Re-Roof

    From my initial contact with Adam from Penfolds, to the production coordination by Scott, Ron and Stuart I am very satisfied with my Ziplok Metal roof. I decided on a Penfolds metal roof as I wanted a low maintenance solution that I would never have to worry about again. Their price was competitive,the warranty outstanding and the service I received throughout the project was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof.

    Roofing

    We are happy with the service we got from Penfolds. The crew was amazing (fast, polite, clean). They also gave us a reasonable price. We had to wait for about 3 weeks before the work started though. They did a good job on our roof.

    New shingle roof

    When I decided to replace my cedar shake roof, I did think about using another company. But I had used Penfolds 6 years earlier to replace some shakes and ridge caps and had been pleased with the quality and the work. Also 3 or 4 of my neighbours had roofs done with Penfolds this past spring. I asked one neighbour his opinion of the job that was done and he told me how pleased he was. I contacted the company and Michael Schoeman was able to come out right away to look the job over and give me an estimate. I was pleased with his honest, forthright manner. He wasn't pushy or aggressive. I wanted the roof done as soon as possible and within a week the crew set to work. The crew members were all very polite, prompt and tidy. They were especially careful at protecting the plants in my garden beds which I really appreciated. The roof was completed within a reasonable amount of time and everything was tidied up well. Michael came to check on how they were doing too. I hear that Penfolds is more expensive than other companies but I think you get what you pay for with this company - skilled workers and quality work. I am told that their roofers are employees of Penfolds and are not hired just for a job which was definitely a selling point for me.

    new roof including plywood

    Our previous roof failed far short of warranty (and NO backup by contractor or materials manufacturer). Penfolds were not the least expensive but clearly were honest (did not hide that we needed plywood to go over our ancient shiplap) and had a great reputation. They did the work extremely well and as promised. I was particularly impressed when they helped by providing sample shingles so we could colour match another reno project nearly a year after they had been paid. Trust them; have confidence in them. Good work, good clean-up, superior customer care.

    Re-Roof

    After living in our house for some 20 years, this summer we were finally in need of having to put a new roof on our house. The project was complex in that we needed to replace the cedar shakes with fiberglass/asphalt shakes, resurface a flat section of the roof with a torched on fabric, as well as to replace the built in gutters and 5 skylights. We contacted three roofing companies for estimates and immediately Penfolds stood out among the three as a company that we felt comfortable with to take on our project. From our first contact with Michael and also later on with Ron we felt that we were in good hands and this was proven to be true as the project got underway. The installation crew were very efficient, got an amazing amount of work done each day, and were very respectful of not only our property and gardens but our neighbour’s properties as well. Before wrapping up for the day, the crew always ensured that all debris was cleaned up and that the property was left looking neat and tidy. We were relieved to see that unlike some other companies, once the project was commenced the crew stuck with our project for the 4 days until it was finished. Overall we were very impressed with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of all the employees that were involved in providing us with a very good quality and good looking roof, and we would recommend them to anyone.     Re-Roof

    We recently had our roof replaced by Penfolds Roofing & we are completely satisfied customers.The price was competitive; the sales person (Adam Boyes) & the crew was professional & very safety conscious; & the cleanup after the job was completed to our satisfaction. The warranty on the roof was a real benefit as we plan on living here for many years & never have to worry about redoing the roof again.     Re-Roof

    We've recently purchased a house in Chilliwack that needs a number of renovations. We asked for quotes from four companies (new shingles, gutters and upgrades to insulation) and selected Penfolds to do the work. Since we are new to Chilliwack we were unfamiliar with the local companies and had no previous relevant local experience to go on. As a result we were really relying on both the quality of the quote and online research of the companies. Penfolds and its representatives stood out for both the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the information provided by them. I am pleased to report that the work was completed on time and on budget. We were impressed by the diligence of the workers, the quality of the work done and the management of the jobs. The next time we need similar work on our home we would look first to Penfolds. Al McCabe

    Eco Roof
