I am a custom home builder and Penfolds Roofing had just completed a standing seam metal roof for a new house that I am building in Richmond. This was the first time that I am having a metal roof installed and Glenn Webber of Penfolds gave me a very detailed explanation of the metal roof system and also a very detailed proposal of their job scope. They were also extremely quick in giving me a quotation, about 1-2 days as compared to 1-3 weeks which I had to wait for other companies' quotes. Penfolds also gives a discount for new home construction, which made their proposal extremely competitive in the new construction market. (Penfolds' quote was in fact the least expensive among the 3 quotes I got). The workmanship of their crew, as usual, and also well known to be, extremely professional, hard working, responsible and clean. I will definitely consider Penfolds in my future projects.

I was very satisfied with the service from the initial meeting to start the process, right through to the end of the job. I was appreciative that there were no "hidden" charges or surprises. I was kept well informed and, in fact, the job was completed sooner than advised. Throughout, the level of professionalism was high, all service people were courteous and respectful and I now am happy to say, that my roof does not leak anymore! Thank you Penfolds.

Danny and his crew from Penfolds were the hardest working, most dedicated and polite of any tradesmen I've ever had work on our place. We have an unusual slope in our roof and it took a master roofer to do it. This was Danny's masterpiece. It looks great, works great and together with the continuous gutters we are now warm and dry in our home. We're getting older so it's a comfort to know that this roof will only start to show a little fading when our daughter is an old woman.

I'm very pleased with the service and cost. Had 3 other quotes at much higher cost. The workers were curtious and worked quickly. Scope of work was very detailed and included many things other companies did not. Clean up and follow up was through. I would and have recommeded this company to friends.

We had our tar and gravel roof replaced this fall by Penfolds.I got maybe half a dozen quotes,Penfolds wasn't the cheapest but it did seem to be the most honest and the price quoted was going to be the finished price.They fit us into their work schedule sooner than they said they would,showed up when they said they would,stayed on the job till it was finished,cleaned up afterwards and made sure we were happy with the overall job.I,m very happy with with the service Penfolds gave us and yes I would recommend them to my mother.Thanks Penfolds for the great job done.

Just recently completed new shingle roof from cedar shake, with unpredictable weather,(rainy season) job was completed in two days (company sent out 2 teams to compete) fast, good quality and follow up also listed with the BBB

We requested several estimates from different roofing companies. Only the Penfolds quote was clear and easy to understand... detailing exactly what would be included - and providing more than one option available to us. The other estimates we received did not clearly indicate what we could expect - leaving it open to cost overruns etc. Our sales rep Jack was extremely helpful - showing us many finished projects near by so we could better see exactly what the roof would look like once completed. The crew that worked on our roof was very professional, and cleaned the site every night before they went home. The effort made to minimize any mess for us and my neighbors was greatly appreciated. All in all - it was a great experience for us and I would highly recommend Penfolds to every one.

The service at Penfolds was absolutely top notch. The staff were very helpful with directing me to the right roof for my house. I was pleased with the work team and the entire project was done on time and on budget.

Our cedar shingle roof in Abbotsford on a large rancher had reached the end of it's 25 year life. As a matter of fact, we hung on for a couple of extra years longer than we should. This was primarily due to the impending expense and our unease with things we have heard about some operators in the roofing industry. Over that time we received quotes from several contractors. We learned that most were within the same range, so it became most important for us to base our decision on two things - dependability and best financing terms. We found both with Penfolds. Our Penfold rep, Jonathan Manca, was entirely professional from start to finish. He was knowledgable, helpful, courteous, not pushy and we felt very comfortable with him. He helped us decide on asphalt shingles, and assisted with picking colors for the roof and trim that we subsequently painted. We had extensively researched all the things that we should ask contractors, and the types of contracts we should sign and what to avoid. We were very impressed with the completeness and obvious attention to detail in the documentation provided to us by Penfolds. While we generally like to support local companies, it was reassuring to us that Penfolds was such a large and province-wide company. In the end of deciding who to go with, it came down to two reputable companies. Our final decision was ultimately made by going with the company that could arrange the best financing terms for this expensive project, and that was Penfolds. We were not disappointed. Mr. Manca told us just what to expect, kept us informed throughout, and followed up to the end. The work crew was respectful, friendly, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves each day. They were a pleasure to have on site. They should be very proud of their work. At the end of the day, even though a big expense, all we have is still the same (but much improved) roof over our heads. It was not the painful experience we had anticipated thanks to the professional, completely satisfactory work and service we received throughout.
