    Eavestroughs, downspouts, gutter guard, siding

    I have used Peter & Greg Walker Contracting Inc. in the past for two roofs and was very satisfied. My late Dad was always a ''Walker'' man. A few years ago after a wind storm, I received a call while at work from a neighbour who informed me that my soffits were blowing off. My immediate call was to Walker and they responded immediately and had it repaired before I got home from work. I felt confident that I would receive great quality and service when I needed to replace my eavestroughs, downspouts, and siding. I also decided to add a gutter guard. The end-to-end service was excellent. I was kept informed through the process. The company was flexible with my request to perform the installation in between some other exterior projects going on. I am very pleased with the final look of my home.

    Roofers Above and Beyond

    11 stars for Peter and Greg Walker! They replaced our roof three years ago and although they were not the cheapest company, we chose them for peace of mind. When they had completed their work we brought to their attention a couple of minor cosmetic issues, and these were fixed the next day. Most recently, we had a leak in our living room ceiling. Peter promptly came to assess the situation. The leak was determined to be coming through a window flashing which was not installed by their company. Peter and Greg fixed this for us anyway without charge. We are extremely grateful to them for this quick no-fuss remedy and would highly recommend their company! Thank you for going above and beyond for your clients.

    Roof repair

    A summer storm damaged our roof. The emergency repair did not last. Then we contacted Walker Contracting, based on recommendations from neighbours. They repaired our entire roof in a highly professional manner. The workers were courteous, conscientious and efficient. I would recommend this company highly.

    New roof

    Had a leak in the roof. The Walker team responded to my problem/ questions in a timely manner. I ended up going with them and they replaced my shingles and also addressed the issues contributing to my leak. They were excellent at listening to my concerns. They managed to replace my roof during a break in a long spell of bad weather that we were experiencing.

    Roof replacement

    They came, worked quiclky and left no mess. As rain was forcast, they worked over the weekend. Excellent communication throughout the project.

    Roofing, chimney repair

    All work completed as detailed in the contract. Worksite left clean. Everyone was very courteous and professional.

    Home and garage roof reshingling, new eaves-troughs, flat addition roof re-grading, ventilation stack moved

    My wife and I saw signs of Walker Contracting around our neighborhood and decided to look them up on Homestars after we had a leak damage the ceiling of our bathroom. Greg came out within 5 days in the winter time and made a temporary repair that stopped any further leak damage. It was a couple of months before he came back out and moved the stack after we agreed that it would be best to move the ventilation stack away from the dormer on the rear of our house. It ended up being a very good decision as water doesn't sit there at all anymore and months later there are no further leak issues. The actual work we contracted them for was done shortly after the stack was moved. It took 3 full days to get both roofs shingled and the addition roof sloped at a proper grade and re-tarred and shingled. It was a lot of work but they always arrived early and did very high quality work that looks great. They returned a couple of weeks later after the eaves-troughs were ready and installed them. They look beautiful and the downspouts are exactly where we wanted them. Our otherwise ugly old green garage has the best roof in the neighborhood! The work was pricey but everything is tight to the roof and looks great--no shoddy work here--and the addition no longer has water pooling on it. Water no longer gets into my garage from above either. Overall we are very happy with the final result and would recommend Peter & Greg Walker Contracting.

    Re-shingled roof

    I selected Peter and Greg Walker for our roofing project because I saw their work on a neighbour's house. I was not disappointed. Safety was number one. They used tie-ins and harnesses that you don't normally see on other jobs. The quality of the work was excellent. Corners and flashing were clean and tight. The roofers worked incredibly hard. When rain was forecast, they turned a three-day job into a two-day job. They stayed until 10pm to get the job done. There was no bad language on the site, which is important because I have kids. Would definitely hire again.

    New Roof March 2018

    Twice now I have had Walker Contracting. The first time for new windows and now a new roof. From the super experience I had with the window installation, I vowed to have Walker Contracting back. Their high quality of work and workmanship exceeds the scale of ten. Their reliability, professionalism, organization of all materials and needs, no pressure, sound advice, great workers and staff, are all key factors for a perfectly done new roof. Their pre-planning with taking photos of the area and used to show the workers before they get to the site was a great idea. Everyone knew what to expect ahead of time. Before starting the work, materials were organized and laid out, tarps were placed on the lawn and driveway, and even sheets of plywood were placed over windows to prevent any damage from shingles and other debris coming off the roof. After the job was done, there was a total cleanup of the driveway and yards for nails and other material. Not once but three times! And a few days later a full roof inspection was done on the completed project and any issues were corrected. They also provide a written guaranteed warranty. It is a mistake not to have Walker Contracting. I know I am having them back...without a doubt.

    Sloped & Flat Roof Replacement and Chimney

    I had Peter & Greg Walker to do work on my roof that included reshingling the sloped roof, building a modest slope to the flat roof and resheeting, replacing a skylight, and taking down the chimney. Right from the quote, Peter & Greg Walker were the most engaged of the contractors I received estimates from. Brian (the estimator) got up on the roof, looked into the attic and made a lot of suggestions on ventilation and drainage to maximize the life and function of the roof that hadn't been covered by others. He also spent substantial time upfront ensuring I understood the work they would be doing. David and crew doing the work were quick, courteous and tidy in completing the work. I had a couple of follow-up items that were dealt with quickly and without issue. The owner Peter Walker was also involved throughout checking in on the work and very responsive in coming out to resolve the follow-up items. All in all I would wholeheartedly recommend Peter & Greg Walker.
