    Fixed two toilets

I let the sign on the two bathroom doors warn people that the bathrooms were out of order for months. I just didn't want to pay a plumber! So glad I eventually did. The job is estimated by the work not by time. Now everyone doesn't have to go to the master to use the toilet.

    Plumbing maintenance

The Plumbway person showed up for a simple job and said that they could not provide any service that costed less than $250. If they had told us that they only do larger jobs, we wouldn't have wasted our time with them. In the end, we had to pay for them to come out to our place even though no work was done. It was cheaper to do that and a better plumber come out than pay their inflated rates. Seemed like they were just trying to scam us for money. We've written many reviews on Homestars and this is the only bad one.

    Repair of burst pipe

On an extremely cold night, I had a pipe burst in my home flooding my basement. I phoned Plumbway and they were on site within hours. Plumbway charges by job, not by the hour, so they have a flat rate for repairing a burst pipe. Even though the technician was at our home for several hours due to the remote location of the burst, the rate was still reasonable. The technician, Nathan, was polite, professional, clean and friendly. He worked very hard to access the burst, mitigate the cost and went above and beyond our expectations. We were extremely pleased with Nathan and Plumbway.
