    Decorating consultation, colours, layout

    We hired Kathy Quinn of Quin-teriors to help us improve the aesthetics of our main level - living/dining areas, primarily. We use our main floor in an unconventional way, zoning it into a seating area, a little TV den, and a household office. Kathy helped us differentiate the areas and provided abundant advice on little things that could make a big difference, including layout and furniture options. She was amazing on choosing new paint colours, going through swatch after swatch to find just the right choices for several rooms - and we love the choices. She also made the selection and installation of window treatments go easily and quickly. Kathy is a storehouse of information on all those pesky details, such as how to hang the drapes, where to place the art, how to choose lighting, and so on. She was flexible and sought to understand our goals. We are happy with the outcome, which completely reflects our goals and taste. Only advice would be to make your list of needs and priorities known and stick with it, a must in any creative collaboration.

    Interior design

    Working with Kathy, of Quin-teriors over the years has been a great experience! As a contractor, the scope of the work is always accurately detailed, organized for scheduling, and deliveries. Each project has different products and a unique flair. On projects with Kathy i have noticed that the clients are kept informed and very pleased with the end result. She has this amazing ability to work with the client on an image or idea of what the client wants and turn it into a reality. She is friendly, hardworking and completely professional.     Interior Decorating

    I engaged Kathy/Quinteriors  Dec-June to decorate my newly constructed condo in an upscale hotel in downtown Toronto. The mandate for this rental property was to select and provide paint colours, window treatments, lighting, discuss furniture layout  and placement of artwork. Kathy and her trades people completed the work within the timely deadlines and to my utmost satisfaction. Quinterior's recommendations resulted in a beautiful and elegant finished product which ultimately enticed a professional to lease the condo in a building where a number of units with similar floor plans still remain vacant. I attribute the success in renting the unit explicitly to Quinteriors discerning taste!

    Interior Decorating Services

    I had the pleasure of working with Kathy Quinn of Quinteriors in April-June 2011. All my dealings with Kathy and her Company far exceeded my expectations. Kathy developed a creative plan to update my condo on a relatively limited budget and her ideas went a long way in terms of maximizing "impact" at minimum cost. In addition, Kathy recommended, coordinated and oversaw external contractors which limited my involvement, making the entire project seamless and painless from my perspective.     Interiors Design

    Kathy was very helpful in picking out paint colours, backsplah and granite countertops for our new home. We had a short period of time to pick out everything and she did a great job. Thanks Kathy!!

    Renovation - Condo

    It was a real pleasure working with Kathy to enhance our home over the last two years by selecting paint colors, window treatments, furniture, installing new pot lights, lighting fixtures, doors, refinishing stairs, handrails, and a great cork floor and other appropriate finishes. Kathy's trades people completed the project within the time frame specified, and did a great job. By working together with Kathy we created the perfect vision that suited what we had in mind. Kathy is a real pleasure to deal with. She handles trades in a very friendly manner but yet with aplomb to get the job done on time. She goes the extra mile. She is very flexible and comes with great ideas that were sometimes just accepted as suggested. She truly had a vision in mind which she got from us and was able to translate it in a real nice piece of work. I would recommend Kathy for anyone needing home renovation. Not only does Kathy have great taste but she is the ultimate project manager that our busy schedule just about needed.

    Selection of paint colours for whole house, design of floor plan and selection of furniture for main living area

    After purchasing a second home in Collingwood, we contacted Kathy Quinn of Quin-teriors who we had worked with on our home in Etobicoke three years ago. Kathy agreed to help us with our out of town project. We spent half a day with Kathy in our new home picking out paint colours for the whole house, designing a floor plan for the open concept living/dining/kitchen space and discussing and visualizing how we could make this our new home away from home. We discussed how we would use the space for entertaining friends and family and also to serve the needs of our young and growing family. With short timelines to ensure we could be moved in before Christmas, Kathy and I spent a day sourcing furniture and fabrics back home in the GTA. With all of the furniture purchased, Kathy also arranged for the delivery of all pieces up to Collingwood in one trip! Saving us a lot of headaches. We are all moved in and have enjoyed our first Christmas in our new home away from home. We thank Kathy for all of her advice and help along the way. We will work with Kathy again and again. Kara

    Kitchen renovation

    Kathy was very helpful in turning my outdated kitchen into a space that is now more functional and appealing. Her expertise was evident in the selection of paint colour, style of cabinetry, hardware and flooring which was very much to my personal taste. Kathy was also able to integrate my existing window treatments, lighting and other features to make better use of the space. The trades people that she used did an amazing job in completing the project within the time frame that we agreed upon. Together we were able to create the kitchen I can now enjoy. I would recommend Kathy as her expertise, enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment of her work helps take a lot of the anxiety out any decisions that need to be made in making your home your own.

    Redecorating Bedroom, hallway & stair carpet

    We had Kathy come back in to finish off some areas we had not been able to address before due to financial constraints. She picked a paint colour and wallpaper for our bedroom which had been dull, dull, dull! Now it is serene and peaceful. She picked out a wonderful window shade that can be put up or down (in other words, we can see out over top but others cannot see in) along with a lovely side drape & rod. Finally got those stairs carpeted with a beautiful runner. Thanks, Kathy!
