Having constructed several custom homes in the North York area of Toronto, I have had opportunity to work with many different trades and accordingly have had exposure to various levels of service, quality of material and reliability in product and personnel. I have found Rafina Hardwood Floors to provide quality product with quality service and at very competitive prices for comparable quality materials (we use only highest grade wood flooring). We did our homework and were very impressed with what we saw of Rafina's work, so had no hesitation in going with them for the floors in our renovation. David and his crew installed beautiful quarter cut oak floors and didn't even flinch when we asked for a difficult-to-apply custom stain. They pulled it off without a hitch and it looks terrific. Later, after our (not so perfect) painters left us with a spotty problem on our beautiful new floors, Rafina came back and spent more than a day touching up the floors for us. The floors are a proud feature in our home and a proud testament to David & crew.

David and his team did an excellent job installing our floors in the summer of 2005. His staff were courteous, punctual and efficient. My husband, who is an architect and very particular about the quality of products in the home, was very impressed with the high quality of the wood that was installed. The finish is beautiful, and over a year later, with our four children and their toys, the floors still look brand new. We would definitely recommend Rafina for new hardwood flooring.

The crew consisting of four workers arrived when they said they would. The entire job took a day and a half and the clean-up afterwards was more than satisfactory. There was a good division of labour with each member doing a different job. For certain tasks two or three of the members would share the work, with each person working on a different portion of the floor.

We asked Rafina to come in to remedy a difficult situation with our recently completed new custom home in Lawrence Park. The floor was installed, sanded and finished by another contractor, but the final finish was uneven and streaked. We contacted David at Rafina and they came to our house the same day and within the week re-finished the entire house. The floor now looks excellent - like finely finished furniture and his crew were effifcient, neat and polite. Thank you David!!
