Waste bin rental and removal
Best price, great people, delivered and picked-up on time. They asked me some questions and then gave good advice on the size of bin to rent - no obvious up-selling. Can't ask for much more!

amazing prices on everything great service nice people and I know they always try they're hardest and I would recommend it to anyone and they always have the right sized truck for the job keep up the great work guys !

Dumpster
We contacted Scarborough disposal for a dumpster and were very happy with how easy it was to organize delivery. The dumpster was delivered on schedule Friday morning awaiting the work crew to tear down some lath and plaster walls which is fine material and very messy. The dumpster that arrived was so rusty that it had massive holes in so if we put the plaster dust it would have poured out onto the yard. When i complained i was told that they have a sale on and that is all we have left. When i suggested that they could have said he didn't have any left and i could have gone else where, he replied "we want the business" so they want your money although they may not have any decent bins left and if i wanted i could cancel and he could deliver a "good" bin in the future - this was not an option as i had booked a work crew for the weekend. I then had to spend my own gas and money to buy some tarp to fill the holes. The owner then turned up without warning in the morning with some garbage bags to help but i had already spent my own money. When i asked for a discount due to the extra spend he told me no way as he had supplied garbage bags - although i had no knowledge he was going to turn up out the blue. I feel this would be a good company if all goes well and your bin has four sides, otherwise look elsewhere...

When we first received the email that you weren't happy with the bin you received the owner, Jim, called you (no answer) and emailed (no reply), so he didn't show up without warning, he tried to contact you the only way we could. He decided to buy some contractor grade garbage and drop them off (spending his own gas & money), as this is what most people would use for smaller pieces of waste. He thought he was being considerate, not imposing on you as he did try to contact you before hand. Some people would have appreciated the effort instead of looking at it negatively. This is the first and only complaint we've ever had about a bin having "massive holes" in it. The 4 customers that have had that bin since you haven't had an issue, nor the hundreds of people before that. The only option we had was for you to either keep the bin or wait until a "nice one" was available. During a sale that could be weeks. We could have picked up our empty bin and you could of ordered from somewhere else. He had no way of knowing this bin wouldn't be good enough for you as we've never had a complaint before. I'm sorry you had a negative experience. Hopefully what ever company you choose to deal with in the future can meet your expectations.

Demo of new home interior
Great experience. My front lawn was packed with junk pulled out of the house – Contacted Scarborough Disposal and they had a bin coming next morning. I had space limitations and couldn’t leave a bit – they were so accommodating and we figured out a solution that worked for both of us. Customer service was great and the driver was too. They will get all my disposal business moving forward. My neighbors and I thank you for your prompt service Jason

Concrete disposal
My initial email response came back within a few hours. Price was very good and correspondance was helpful and detailed Within 4 hours of calling to book a bin, it was delivered. Pick up completed within the same time frame. Amazing and beyond expectations! I'll use them again with no hesitation. Thanks again! Update December 14 Since my review a few weeks back I've called upon Scarborough disposal two more times for service. And twice more, the service has been exemplary. Drop-off and pickup was within hours and billing was great. I'm just so tickled with their service I felt compelled to write an update.

Load of construction waste
Renovating a basement downtown and the front yard is surrounded by a 5' hedge (2-1/2' thick), which meant I had to get a street permit for a bin. Alas, it takes 2-3 weeks for that to happen....so I just piled all the loose construction waste in the front yard. Given the situation, I was worried about finding a company that would be willing to haul this stuff away - or what the cost would be. I called Scarborough and described my predicament, and they sent a truck around the next day. Unfortunately, there was some sort of miscommunication and Spyder, the driver, didn't expect to be loading loose waste into the bin on his truck over the hedge (he thought it would be bagged or bundled, and would require less than 1/2 hour of work). After calling the owner (and sending him pics of the waste), the owner said it was up to Spyder to decide if he wanted to load the truck or pass on the job. Spyder agreed, and helped me throw everything in the bin in the rain - took about an hour and twenty minutes. When I told Spyder I needed to have another load hauled away, he told me to mention him by name if I called back and he'd be happy to do it again. Needless to say I was impressed and very appreciative of the service, and will be calling for the next load. Over the phone estimate was spot on, as well - not to mention less than it would have cost me to rent a truck and helper to do the job myself.

Removal
We were remodelling our kitchen and we had a ton of junk in our backyard. They gave us a reasonable price and I am so happy to have found them.

Bin Rental
I spent a lot of time trying to get my permit from the city in order to place a bin on the street. The service at Scarborough Disposal was exceptional and Jen was extremely patient and polite. The bin arrived right on time and I was able to get rid of the giant pile of construction waste! I recommend this company both for the price and service!!

It can be a headache dealing with the city for permits and they don't seem to realize what a predicament some people are in that don't have a driveway or little to no access. Bin Rental
Perfect. Arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and didn't complain about where to place the bin, unlike the other guys. The price was about 65% of other guy's price, and I could put stones and concrete in with the dirt, unlike with the other guys. The transaction was super easy. Keep up the excellent work.

Bin dropoff/pickup for renovation waste
We scheduled delivery for 10am, the 14 yard bin came just a bit early and we were out. But, we came home to it expertly navigated our narrow alleyway, exactly where we wanted it placed in our even narrower backyard. How did you know where to put the bin, Scarborough Disposal? Can you read minds? Additionally, none of our neighbours saw or heard the bin arrive, or leave. We're convinced that this company is composed on garbage disposal ninjas, or ghosts. At any rate, it's the most congenial mind-reading ghost ninja disposal service I've ever dealt with. Up front pricing, on-time delivery (ok, half an hour early), no hidden fees, bill in the mail within a week. Will definitely be contacting them in the future to teleport more of garbage away. Magic!
