Sonoma Contracting recently removed a load bearing wall separating our kitchen and family room and updated various parts of our kitchen. From start to finish, Mike and his entire team were professional, courteous and friendly. Mike prepared a detailed quote at the onset of the project which ensured there were no surprises once work began. He was easy to work with and was very flexible to accommodate any changes to the original project that I requested. The project was completed on-time and within budget. It is evident that Mike expects high quality workmanship from his team, and they did not disappoint as we are thrilled with the results. We will definitely use Sonoma Contracting for our future projects! Thanks again Mike and team!

Our small bathroom (5'x7') needed a redo. Mike Flamia and Sonoma did our whole basement last year and did such beautiful work, there was no else we could trust to it right. The bathroom brought up some challenging issues and troubles: you never know what is underneath until you gut. We purchased our tiles, grout, vanity and medicine cabinets ahead of the gut and that is when trouble started...a brick structure forced us to exchange medicine cabinets for something different that would fit. Regardless, even Mike thought our Reno was cursed from the start! After this and other issues, Mike always promised to find solutions and fixes. In the end the Reno was finished to Sonoma's signature beauty and perfection! Thanks

Mike and his team were fantastic. They did a quality job and were quick to follow up with any questions or concerns from cradle to the grave. The crews were courteous and professional. I would highly recommend using Sonoma and I know I will be using them for all future renovations.

We recently completed our basement with Mike and his team. We had full trust at every stage as they took pride in their work and everyone in their trades performed at a high quality. They took attention to detail as it was evident and we truly appreciate this. Mike was fantastic. I was not home for 2 months of the renovation in our basement but trusted every single person that came through out house. Mike works with some very fine associates. There was not one issue, not one call back and the only one making changes was me! I am looking forward to our next project together.

Overall very satisfied with Mike and his team. The pass thru window looks better than we could have imagined! Added value to our home. They were punctual and friendly! Highly recommend them!

I recently had a renovation completed by Mike and Aldo. What was supposed to be a kitchen and bathroom reno ended up being the whole house ( 3 story townhouse). From the beginning Mike and Aldo were very professional and easy to get along with. Their crew were excellent- everyone treated my house as if it were their own. Mike kept me updated daily via email on all that was happening or about to happen. Any issues or concerns ( bathroom tiling and kitchen backsplash) were handled promptly and to my satisfaction. The budget and timelines were exceeded but only due to me adding on extra things during the project. Mike's original budget was met, and the 2 month timeline was only slightly exceeded. As this was my first major renovation project, I am very fortunate to have been recomended to Mike and his team. I would definately use him again for another project- maybe my basement?:)

I was very apprehensive when selecting a contractor to do our main floor reno. I know far too many people who have had bad experiences with contractors. I spent a lot of time researching and interviewing companies. I immediately liked Mike from the moment he came to my house. We did an entire main floor gut, which included new framing, ductwork being moved, new plumbing in the kitchen, electrical, spray foam, drywall, hardwood, a new kitchen, a gas fireplace, a new handrail for our stairs, staining the stairs to match the new flooring, lighting, a new door (through the brick wall in the kitchen) to the backyard, and brickwork outside to patch up an old window. The quote Mike provided was incredibly reasonable, and covered a much larger scope of work than any of the others. Mike was very accommodating, and agreed to let me do the demo myself, to save some money(which of course we put back into upgrades anyways!). I was very impressed with how quickly the work started and how fast each phase was completed. Mikes right hand man Aldo is a big part of the process, and was always very friendly, helpful and provided a lot of face time on the job site. Any questions, or issues that arose were addressed immediately. All of the subs that came to the house were incredibly professional, polite and a pleasure to have in my home. I have never really been comfortable with workers in my home, but these guys made it a breeze. Tony the carpenter is an absolute master! His framing and trim work is incredible. Paul the hvac sub is fantastic, and didn't mind me watching what he was doing and explaining the process to me. Marco and Mike the electricians did incredible work (and so fast). Every sub that came in, knocked the job out quickly and masterfully. It is clear that Mike has spent a long time putting together his team, and the results of the house show that. The job site was always kept clean (as clean as you can with a total gut), the workers showed up promptly at 8am and the work was completed on time and on budget. Mike was always very communicative through out the reno. His customer service is superb. Sonoma will not leave a job until you are absolutely 100% happy with the work. Forget the other contractors on here, you will not find a better group than Mike, Aldo and the crew at Sonoma.

Mike is a first class professional. From start to finish we always felt we were in good hands, and that came to fruition in what was delivered. Mike was very helpful is guiding us through the process, gave us the basement we envisioned from the plans and provided valued insight when we were making design decisions. The work was completed relatively on time and any changes and/or follow up were resolved quickly. The communication was excellent and Mike always laid out the next steps so expectations were clear. My wife and I worked closely with Mike to redo the master bathroom in our home. Mike was extremely professional and polite and made sure that we were kept up to date with the project at every step. Mike provided a clear and accurate quote at the beginning of the project and he stuck to the price even as we made mild changes to our requirements as the project progressed. The final product is beautiful. We could not be more pleased with the result. Highly recommended. We will use Mike again!
