We needed to get our chimney replaced and found The Chimney Co. on Homestars.com. We could not believe how quickly we received a quote from Bill. We did receive another quote from another co......which took forever. I wish everyone who came to our home was as efficient as Bill and his crew. Thank your for an excellent job! Highly recommend The Chimney Company!!

I had truly an amazing experience with Bill and The Chimney Company. I received the quote quickly and hand delivered written on a detailed form. He pointed out a few things like the colour of my brick wouldn't be an exact match due to age of the existing brick and what not but he knew exactly what colour brick and I needed and I didn't even need to see a sample. I could tell right off that bat he was an upfront, trustworthy and hardworking person. He worked so well with his crew he was done within a few hours and cleanup was spot on. They were so efficient!! The job they did for me was pretty easy straightforward stuff but I can really appreciate them fitting in the time for the 'little' jobs like mine. The level of professionalism, trust and workmanship are out of this world.

The Chimney Company is awesome. Had three quotes and Bill was the only one to actually go up on the roof to see what needed to be done. The other companies - one said needed complete new chimney, it would blow over this winter and showed up same day as I called (must not be busy) and the other quote just from my pics only. Bill came out within days of calling, gave me two different options and quote for each. Did not need new chimney but could be repaired. Invoiced for the exact amount quoted, showed up for job on time, cleaned up after, and even did some minor repair to flagstone walk before leaving at no extra cost. Bill and Dave are amazing. Found on Homestars. They work hard and definitely deserve the highest praise. I would recommend to everyone and no need to look elsewhere.

I am not surprised this company has such great reviews. I am very pleased with every aspect of my contact with them and the repair itself. The company has excellent website, I was able to learn a lot about what chimney repair involves. I got prompt response for my request for quote. My every phone call/voice mail was responded to. I was not there when the repair took place, but my neighbour, who is knowledgeable himself, was most impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the crew, who also left the site in pristine condition. I would absolutely use this company again and would recommend it without reservations.

Chimney top was crumbling. Bill provided estimate in 2-3 days for a fair price. He was able to accomodate schedule and did the job in a day in a professional friendly manner.

In short, I am extremely satisfied for the work Bill, owner and operator of Chimney Company did for my chimney, window sills and some broken brick replacements on the side of my house. If you want the long version of my experience, please continue reading: I found Chimney Company along with 2 other highly rated chimney repair companies through homestars and called all three asking them to come and give me a quote. Bill from the Chimney Company came first, he came within a few days after I contacted him. Representatives from the other two guys came as well but at a much later date since they were busy taking care of the jobs they already had at hand. This is totally understandable as due to the weather conditions we have here, there is only a short window of opportunity for them to do this type of work and they have to make the most out of it. Anyway, Bill came and told me what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. Based on the conversation we had and the confidence and level of knowledge I saw in him, my instinct told me instantly he is the right guy for the job I needed done but I still wanted to hear from the other 2 companies before I make my final decision. Representatives from the other two companies came and they both told me my bricks are not standard size. My house is 40+ years old, Bricks not being standard size is not a big deal, for the chimney as it was a total replacement and would not show but for replacing the bricks on the side of the house, the bricks had to be cut to the right size in order to make it fit. The price I got from all three companies were quite comparable. Once I had talked to all three companies, based on my instincts I felt more confident to go with Bill so I called and asked him to come by so we can sign a contract. When Bill came by, he also brought some bricks to see which one matches the colors of my old bricks. When I told him I was told by the other guys that my bricks are not standard size, he disagreed and showed me the bricks he had brought to compare and lo and behold, the bricks he had brought matched my old bricks almost perfectly. He told me it will take 2 days to finish the job, gave me an exact date when he was going to start. And everything went pretty much as he had promised. Now that I have seen the end results of his work, I cannot say enough good things about the quality of his work, Bill is a pro and I am so glad I picked him to do the job for me. He gave me warranty for 10 years for the chimney work he has done. Based on his work ethics and the quality of his work, I am sure I will get at least 10 years but most likely more from the work he has done for me. Could not be happier, thanks Bill for the beautiful job you did on my house!!!!

We were very happy with The Chimney Company's work last year. we decided to re-hire them to replace the 11 window sills at the back of the house. I gave Bill a call in the spring and he promptly came with a reasonable quote. Bill and his crew completed the job in 2 days and clean up with no mess. The window sill looks great!! Also, he replaced a few deteriorate bricks with no extra charge. I would definitely recommend The Chimney Company.

Bill and his crew did a superb job removing my broken clay chimney liner and replacing it with a metal one. Bill was prompt in returning calls to set up appointments to view and fix the chimney and on work day, he arrived on time with the crew. They worked efficiently, moved garden furniture out of the way and put it back and cleaned up after the work was done. Highly recommend The Chimney Company!

My existing chimney had collapsed above the roofline and Bill was very responsive. He came by to inspect the area quickly, made an assessment and indicated his availability and followed through on what he said. They showed up full crew and set up with safety in mind which is very important in my line of work being a general contractor and having everyone working safe. The work was very good and we reviewed the completed work after. Bill and his crew were a pleasure to work with and highly recommend.

Great company! Bill came to our house the day after we had called him and gave us a very reasonable quote for the chimney liner and masonry work. The job was done promptly and without mess. They even did some extras! We have our first real fire tonight and absolutely love it! Thank you so much!!!!
