I found Upper Canada Upholstery through Homestars when looking for someone to reupholstery a recliner. Keith has a great selection of fabrics to choose from, and you can take the books home without charge! The job did not take too long, and we are extremely pleased with the workmanship. Keith is a true professional, and also a pleasure to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending his company.

This review is to recognize the immense talent of Keith of Upper Canada Upholstery. He took an old (but beloved) chair I have from Nepal and beautifully refurbished its cushion. Rather than sitting in a closet, it is now on view for all to see!

We spoke with a number of upholstery companies and found Keith very knowledgeable, skilled and helpful. The quality of work is high and price very reasonable. It was important for us to have someone we could trust handle these pieces from 1972.

Keith is an amazing one man show at Upper Canada Upholstery! He is a master upholsterer who takes great pride in his work, he is an incredibly kind & patient gentleman and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with! We recently had him reupholster a 1970s love seat that required diamond tufting, two 1950s mid century modern living room chairs and a 1930s foot stool. All of these items were extremely sentimental to me as they were from my late parents home so you can imagine my concern when selecting an upholsterer. He kindly allowed me to spend as much time as I wanted looking through his many fabric books and very patiently discussed all my upholstery options right down to the very last detail. His turn around time was quick and everything came out amazing. Honestly I cannot say enough positive things about this very talented, special and kind man! I would highly recommend him for any and all of your upholstery needs, he does beautiful work at a fair price and he is an absolute joy to work with!! - Keith...thank you so very much for everything, your time and efforts were so very much appreciated!!! Keith’s work is outstanding! He is the consummate professional who loves his job and takes great pride in his work. He will have re-upholstered 6 sofas and 8 chairs for me. Every one is perfect. He has an excellent selection of fabrics, or will use your own. He is very fast, too, and extremely reasonable. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I found Upper Canada Upholstery on Homestars. I had 2 benches I bought from an online furniture site that had mis-aligned holes so the legs would not screw in. Being acrylic, visual appearance is key! Keith did an amazing job! He was able to quickly come up with a solution and complete the job with incredible speed, and the work is fantastic. And super affordable! I highly recommend and will bring more work to Upper Canada Upholstery.

Keith did a great job rebuilding and reupholstering my grandmother's couch and throughout the process he was easy to work with. When I first arrived at the studio he had a great selection of fabrics for me to look through and gave me clear advice on what fabrics would work well. Then when it came time to get the couch delivered to him to start the work the men who came were polite and careful. The work took a few weeks, which was fine with me. It's a very solid piece that may be as much as 100 years old, but the springs had fallen through and the upholstery was dirty after many years of use (the last time it was upholstered was in the 1980s.) Keith told me how impressed he was by the solidness of the frame, which he thought was probably made of walnut wood. And when he discovered springs in the sofa's back as well as the bottom he seemed delighted. He said that's unusual and means it was very well made. x Aaron The sofa is back in my living room now. It looks great, and whenever I sit on it it feels good to know that it was repaired by someone who enjoyed and appreciated its uniqueness.

Keith is real professional, and he is definitely the best. This is third time that he did excellent work with different pieces of my furniture including chairs, armchair and LazyBoy set of sofa, chair and loveseat. Fabric is high quality, beautiful, chic and durable. Workmanship quality is above excellent. If I ever will need upholstery or repair, Upper Canada Upholstery is my place to go. The pieces that Keith already restored for us will last long, long time. Customer services is excellent as well. Bruce and his colleague carried in and out our heavy pieces with care, not leaving a single scratch on our floor. Prices are very reasonable and reflect the quality of work and fabric.

Keith was very patient when I asked him to reupholster my 2 antique chairs and wanted to bring my own fabric. Although the fabric was not upholstery grade, he did a phenomenal job! Not only do they look beautiful, he replaced and added padding within my budget. I would highly recommend him!

Keith is a hidden gem! This is second time I trusted Keith with my mid-century chairs. Two years ago, he reupholstered 6 dining chairs and last week he worked on my metal office chair. He had it done in a day knowing I needed to use the chair everyday. He also adjusted the springs without my asking. The chair looks impeccable and new!
