    weed control

    We had weed man come for a weed spray on the lawns. The result was very disheartening. It didn't kill off the weeds at all. The outer edges turned black, but the roots all stayed and thrived. I called the company and did receive a callback the first time which I missed. Returning the call right away I didn't hear back by email or phone. I sent pictures of the yard to ask what should I do as the weeds didn't go down at all. I was under the impression more than the outer edges would die off. They needed to call back to explain my results to me. Now we've been told it takes a good 3 years to have it be successful. That's not what I was told in the beginning. We were definitely told all the weeds wouldn't be gone, but most would die off, and when they're ready to come back at the end of the summer, a second spray happens to help prep for the next year. 4 months later, still no return calls though I was contacting them and letting them know I maybe would pay half, as a truck did come to the house to spray, but certainly not the whole amount. After continual attempts and several 'urgent' letters from them which I called about instantly, they sent it to collections. It took 2 very angry phone calls at this time to get someone to reach me. When Kevin did call back, he said he didn't want to do "he said, she said", which made me feel more upset as a customer. He was only agreeable to me paying the half, which I did, though don't necessarily think the company deserves it. As a note to the company. When they say they're really busy and that's why they can't get someone in charge to call for months when a customer is upset, that's very bad customer service. This could have been fixed easily, I have no desire to have anything to do with them ever again. If you choose them, ask a lot of questions about realistic results, and the length of time before weeds will be under control.

    2012 Lawn Care

    After many phone calls and promises by the customer sales agent I decided to give them a try. They started their services with no problems but I can honestly say that I have more weeds and crab grass mixed into my lawn now, then ever. That combined with the constant harassing up-sell phone calls. I'll go back to doing my lawn myself and save my money. As far as I'm concerned there was no value provided for the price I paid.

    The only way to prevent weeds is to have a thick lawn. All weed controls have always been a contact treatment and always will be. When weeds grow and they always will we spray them and they should turn black and die, if they don't or come back to life please let us know and we will reapply the product at no charge. Crabgrass is a separate treatment and can only be applied in April as a perventative treatment and there is no longer a treatment that kills crabgrass once it grows. I am unable to look up your account information but I would assume that it was not included in your program as it is very expensive and a service we don't want to upsell our cusotmers on as we don't know if you will need it until it grows in July. Once we know it has become an issue we would recommend it for the following spring. Please call my office to go over this in more detail please.

    Weed Man services - very disappointed

    We decided this year to let the professionals do our lawn for us so we can have nice looking grass. HUGE mistake! I am not sure what exactly they put on it but my grass is DEAD. We tried several times to get some help and discuss this issue with them but each and every time they found a way to blame it on us. Not sure what we did since they were the only ones treating our grass but its 100% not their fault and 100% our fault. We tried several times to talk to someone higher than the person that answers the phone when you call in and every time we were told the manager was busy and they would call back…..and never did. This happened on more than one occasion. They wore us down to the point where we just cannot be bothered trying to complain because with they lack of responsiveness it resembles beating a dead horse and they done care. This company is very frustrating to deal with and not only did we pay for them to ruin our lawn (sorry could not figure out how to attach the pictures I have but they are sad) even in its state they continued to apply grub killer (which we ordered earlier in the year when had grass) and fall fertilizer. I guess it’s important to fertilize the dirt and dead remains that were left at the end of this season. I am dumbfounded that the technician (or so called professional) continued to treat grass that was clearly in a state of distress and feel good about it. They made no attempt to help us fix this and take some of the accountability and cost but yet made sure they left behind the invoice for payment after applying their chemicals to my dead grass. It amazes me though that they stopped putting up the little “Weed Man” sign on the lawn that would alert neighbours to their destruction. It’s now October and everyone around me that did not treat their lawn with Weed Man has nice green grass……NOT US! I am extremely surprised that a company with this type of care for their customers continues to thrive. I will never use them again and you can be sure that anyone I know or who has seen my lawn won’t use them either. Nice advertising Weed Man….you should be proud!

    2012 Lawn Care Program

    I paid for NTB and Spring-aeration-overseeding. I pre-paid. BIG MISTAKE. This company is a major EXCUSE KING- for poor service, and poor product. MOST importantly, my lawn is WORSE NOW. DONT use them. U will be disappointed

    Weed Man lawn treatment

    First of all, it's absolutely ridiculous that a company like Weed Man doesn't have a customer service email contact. I purchased 8 treatments in early June and paid the $250 fee up front. Since paying for the service, I have received 4 treatments. Considering it's nearly October, I assume I will not be receiving the level of service I paid for. Secondly, my lawn is actually much worse than it was before. I called your office a couple of months ago to voice my concerns, and was told that I had 5 remaining treatments. Not surprisingly, a technician came the following day to do a treatment. I'm assuming a refund at this point is not even worth the effort, but I wanted to let you know that I will never be purchasing anything from your company again. If there is a "do not call" list that you guys maintain, please add me to it as it will spare the poor telesales guy from the tirade I'll go on if Weed Man tries to get another dime out of me.

    Lawn Care

    I am very frustrated with this company. I have so many weeds in my lawn that it is difficult to see the grass. I called them so many times but they don't care. I don't know what they spray. I will call then a weed grower rather than weed killer. They go on calling asking for more and more money. They called me today again. When I complained about the weeds they disconnected the phone, rather than listening and resolving the issues. I did a blunder mistake in hiring such people.

    All services

    I am very frustrated with this company. We've been with weed man for the past 4 years now and our lawn is worse now than it has ever been. In fact I just cancelled our services for next season. Their weed control either does not work or is not applied properly. And when I call to complain I get excuse after excuse. And when I call to inquire when my lawn will be serviced they would tell me a specific day or two, weather permitting of course, and even if the weather conditions are favourable they still don't show. So of course I would have to call back to inquire again and find out that they have no documented notes that someone was to come out for service on the day I was told. Horrible company!

    sprayed weeds with fieasta

    worst company i ever had do my lawn gates left open not reclosed, constant telemarketing calls for more, the weeds didnt even die. what a waste of money it was.

    Lawn care service

    They have single handed RUINED $15000.00 of landscaping!! With the heat of the summer, in their infinite wisdom, applied fertilizer to my lawn 2 weeks in a row..result..completely burnt every blade of grass!! As we were away for the week, we did not know they were coming since they attended the week before so the grass wasnt watered, hence the burned grass, shrubs, flowers...EVERYTHING!! Never Ever Again. Will be contacting my lawyer!!

    Weed Control Service

    We started services with Weedman last year and nothing but a nightmare. Scheduled for 5 visit and was months in between each service. The last time they came in October I paid the bill that they left. Received a call in February from a collection agency saying I had an outstanding balance. Called Weedman was told that they performed 2 services the last time they came in October and that I had 2 bills and that I had only paid one. So I paid the outstanding one and told them that I was not happy with service. They said that if I continued with service my first visit would be credited to my account. Still receiving calls from Collection Agency because I paid Weedman not the collection agency, I have had to phoned Weedman at least 6 times to have this corrected and still not fixed. My lawn has never looked as bad as it does now. Cancelled my service last week, they didn't even ask why, but within 10 minutes of cancelling I received a call asking if I would like an Aeration treatment. Would never ever recommend them! Waste of time and money going with them.

We do not send any of our customers to collections without a minimum of 2--3 statement letters and multiple in house account receivable calls to remind our customer of an over due balance. If there is a concern with the service we are providing please call customer service so we can take care of this concern. Please contact my office so we can take care of you, as I have never had a customer suggest that they cancelled services and no one cared to ask why that is not how we take care of our customers.
