Reply created 30 Oct 2012The only way to prevent weeds is to have a thick lawn. All weed controls have always been a contact treatment and always will be. When weeds grow and they always will we spray them and they should turn black and die, if they don't or come back to life please let us know and we will reapply the product at no charge. Crabgrass is a separate treatment and can only be applied in April as a perventative treatment and there is no longer a treatment that kills crabgrass once it grows. I am unable to look up your account information but I would assume that it was not included in your program as it is very expensive and a service we don't want to upsell our cusotmers on as we don't know if you will need it until it grows in July. Once we know it has become an issue we would recommend it for the following spring. Please call my office to go over this in more detail please.

Reply created 30 Oct 2012I only maintain the Scarborough area in Ontario this complaint has to be removed from my files and forwarded to the Vancouver Weed Man.

Reply created 25 Oct 2012I would like to discuss your concerns in detail as I am not sure if I was able to find your account infomration just by searching your last name. We do not send any of our customers to collections without a minimum of 2--3 statement letters and multiple in house account receivable calls to remind our customer of an over due balance. If there is a concern with the service we are providing please call customer service so we can take care of this concern. Please contact my office so we can take care of you, as I have never had a customer suggest that they cancelled services and no one cared to ask why that is not how we take care of our customers. One of my senior customer service agents will want to discuss this with you immediately. Please call our office to check on the cancelation of your 2012 program and to resolve these concerns and get answers on why your lawn is not in good shape and what we can do to help fix it.
