In all the years we have owned our home, the lawn has never looked as bad as it has this year. Weed Man promises much but has delivered little. We have more weeds on our lawn than neighbours who have had nothing done!!! I would never recommend Weed Man to anyone.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

In short, a nightmare. I had for the last 2 years with many many phone calls, pictures and zero results. They even started again this year although I did not order - said I was on "continuous service". The absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. weedman didnt show for 90 days i emailed them to cancel they showed up 12 hours later to spray for weeds, and left a bill for two spray saying i didnt pay my previous amount from june but no one came since may. i would never use them again those people have no business sense. yvonne mississaugaReview from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Total grass area to maintain: 30'x 30' max False advertising with respect to results and fraudulent application (weeds not treated but was invoiced)...worst investment I have ever made, now have the worst lawn in the neighbourhood! Apparently you have to call repeatedly to have a reapplication done to ensure you get the results they boast about. Avoid Weed Man at all costs, you are better off doing it yourself.Answer from pro:
Please contact my office as our guarantee is to reapply the weed control serivce at no charge within 5-7 days if the customer request it to be done. Our office schedules 4 weed control treatments during the course of the entire season, two of them at no charge. If you require more because of the orginal state of your lawn, rain soon after the service was applied or any other reason we will do so at no charge. I am unsure if you are in my service area but if there was every a service invoice left without a service being performed contact us immediatley as this is something we take very seriously. Good regular service, keeps the weeds off my lawn (a noticeable improvement versus my neighbours). Grub control has helped. When I've needed a re-application a quick phone call and they return promptly.Answer from pro:

My husband and I invested way too much money in the weedman this year for our lawn. I have never been so frustrated in my life with their service. I can't stand to waste another minute of my life thinking about how brutal they are and the money we wasted. I can't believe what they get away with and I feel like a fool for ever hiring them. I wish I read all the horrible reviews on them first before we invested our hard earned money to them. Truly disappointed and feel robbed.Answer from pro:

We signed up when a sales rep called several times and then made promises to maintain our lawn free from weeds, keep it healthy and green and offered to cancel if we were not satisfied. The lawn at the back of the house is covered in weeds and there are yellow patches where grass no longer is growing. When we called them, they send a "technician," who the recommended a treament at over $200 and then offered to give us a discount. When we contacted a garden centre, they told us the treatment Weed Man recommending should be done in early June of September not in July! They continued to call offering additional services at $150 and over continually for various services. We are now trying to cancel this service.Answer from pro:
If there are any questions or concerns with your lawn please call my office and we will be glad to help. The service was either grub control or a granular seed and feed that they would of recommended depending on your lawn conditions. Grub control should be applied in September and the granular seed and feed should be applied only in the growing seasons, April-May or Sept-Oct. We take pre-orders for these services during the season and apply them at the appropriate time always. There are weeds in lawns right now because it's the second full growing season for them and in this extreme heat we have to wait a couple of weeks before sparying them when it cools off alittle. In any of our programs you are only charged for 2 weed controls and if any more are required they are applied at no extra cost throughout the season. I had expressly asked Weed Man not to call me last year after receiving terrible service in 2011 but they did and they spoke with my husband who gave them another shot. I've asked repeatedly not to be called but I'm still getting 3 or 4 calls a DAY offering additional services. They have been to our house twice in 5 months and we've seen zero improvement in our lawn... apparently it's our fault because we haven't bought the "grub control", "aeration", "extra weed control", etc. DO NOT book with Weed Man, they don't respect your requests to not be contacted.Answer from pro:

There is no need to every buy extra weed controls with Weed Man we don't charge for extra weed controls unlike our competetion, we do unlimited reapplication if needed at no extra cost. Brutal service and harrasing phone calls. Weeds are out of control, grass is the worst in 3 years when no service was used. Grass wont even grow in certain arreas. When I called to complain, "you know you can reapply weed contraol as often as needed? Do not use these servicesAnswer from pro:
