Buyer beware!! Does it make sense that there are so many 0's which are quickly followed up by 10's. Come on Weedman....stop bs's reviews and start changing your business practices. Stop focusing on upping your ratings with fake reviews, change your policies/practices and EARN REAL 10's!! I was a customer for YEARS. But every year the service has declined and my lawn is covered in weeds. I cancelled after the season last year but because they don't have "record of it" they are still charging me for this year. Ridiculous! I'm tired of calling to get the run around, told one thing and then get a bill for the exact opposite the next month. I'm not paying. Send me to a collection agency. I'll take that negative on my credit rating. Ha ha. Read the reviews.

I took advantage of a recent group deal for Weed Man's services. I have a packyard the size of a postage stamp and I had so many dandelions. I would pull them up by the roots with my Fiskars weed tool, but they still kept coming back. Weed Man came once to treat the grass. They followed up with a call. I wouldn't have even known that they came had it not been for the little sign they left on my front yard saying they had put on a chemical treatment. I was told that the dandelions should have turned black and shrivelled up. They were still green. Weed Man came back and treated them again. They died and didn't grow back right away, but they do still grow back. Weed Man is relentless in trying to get people to sign up for a program for the whole season, but for a lawn my size, it's too expensive.

As observed by another poster, I too am very suspicious of the large number of 10 ratings on this site. I made the mistake of hiring Weedman (Scarborough) for lawn care last year. The result was that the weeds were worse than in previous years when we took care of it ourselves. In spite of repeated calls to complain and object to having to pay for a service that did not work, the company refused to honour their customer commitment and has now put our bill out for collection. It's not that we refused to make any payment - we actually paid the first two bills which in our opinion compensated for the fertilization treatments (which truthfully I can't say were very beneficial for the lawn although in fairness it was a dry summer). I found their representatives defensive and I actually had one of their reps tell me that I shouldn't expect them to be able to kill all the weeds - my response was that I'd have been happy if some of the weeds were gone! We had weeds that we'd never had in the past growing in our yard. When we refused payment until we were satisfied, their tactic was to inundate us with phone calls in an attempt to pressure us into paying. At one point, we were receiving calls virtually daily from three different areas, including the sales group that was trying to get us to sign up for another year of service. Our experience with Weedman was that we actually found that the weed control killed the grass but the weeds thrived in it. Our back lawn is about 30% dead and we are still trying to battle the out of control weed problem that began last year before we can move forward and plant new grass. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I wanted to offer a review of the services that your tech,Tom, provided for us yesterday. First, I appreciate that Tom called us on both Thursday and Friday to advise that he would be by, weather permitting, to perform the first blanket spray of our yard. He was very polite and courteous with both myself and my husband and presented himself well at the door when we met him on Saturday. When we asked about the state of the weeds in our yard (there are a lot!) he was honest and suggested that we take a walk through over the next few days to make sure we were happy with our service and that we could call back if we weren’t pleased with the results. We’ve never had a lawn care service before and have found the process to be simple and efficient and appreciate the care that your company and techs provided to us. Additionally, we asked some friends and family for their opinions of Weed Man’s services before we signed up and are pleased to report that you have lived up to the excellent reviews! Thank you for your attention to our lawn and we look forward to your continued service.

Our service Tech, Tom was very professional, very informative and did an outstanding job with the lawn care service he preformed on our lawn. It appears He is very knowledgeable in his field of work and we were impressed with the way he explained everything and made it simple for us. He should actually be recognized for his efforts in our opinion. We feel good people are hard to find these day's and we think you have a great employee in Tom, please recognize him.

Glad that I have the opportunity to email someone at Weedman at this time. I must say that too many companies do not seem to care about their service. But I was happy with the service provided by Brendan yesterday. I did receive the call the day before to say that he would be coming out and then when he was here he took the time to tell me what applications were being done on this visit. He also took care with the application around my fish pond, which I appreciated, since I had just added new fish to the pond that morning. I do appreciate dealing with someone who is as polite and professional as Brendan was.

I am sending this review of the services we have received from Weed Man this year (as well as services over the past 2 years). The technician's Darryl and Trevor who have come to our home have always been very professional and informative. They explain what they are applying to our lawn, the proper procedures that a home owner should follow after each application to insure that the product works and any questions or concerns I may have are answered on site. They work quickly and quietly covering all areas of my home. I have had many compliments from friends and neighbours on the appearance of our lawn. We are 99.9% dandelion free and that's amazing. My thanks go out to Weed Man and especially to Darryl and Trevor for their excellent work.

Technician Tom is a friendly Weed Man employee who always takes the time to explain what treatment he is doing and ask if we have any concerns or additional areas that may require attention. We are very happy with the service and results to date. Keep up the good work.

Today I spoke to one of your customer service employees, Nicole, and I found her to be the most pleasant and efficient customer service employee I have encountered in a long while. Not only did she know her job but was courteous, efficient and made a difficult situation for me quite relaxing. I also commend you on how you let your customers who are waiting for service know just where they stand in the line up, many other companies could benefit from adapting this. Thank you.

i have hired weed man for weed control and so far I have been happy with their service. Weed management is definitely under control and they have managed to get rid of my dandelions which drive me nuts. I am yet to see the benefit of the fertilizer hope I will benefit from it. The technician (Chris) was very polite and weed man have kept their appointments as promised.
