Review from HomeOwner Review left on 3 May 2013Rating: 5 out of 5I used Welda on two different occasions-we replaced some windows a few years ago and then replaced the rest of them this past year. I continued using them because I was pleased with their service. I never really fortunately had any cause to have any communication with them after the fact because it was all professionally handled. I see no reason to give anything more than a 9 out of 10.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

There was a magazine that comes out weekly that has company listing inside and I saw Welda's name in there. I called other companies too but they gave quick estimates, whereas the guy from Welda spent a lot of time with me explaining everything. He did a good job and did exactly what I wanted and I don't think I would have asked for anything to be done any differently.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We have used Welda Windows and Doors on two occasions now. They are friendly, reliable and thorough. Eli was great to deal with and the installer did a great job. We would recommend them and use them again in the future.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

After an exhaustive and lengthy search to determine the best window/door company to replace the ones in our home we finally settled on Welda. For us they seemed to offer the best value for our budget and were willing to work with us to provide a premium product without the premium cost. More importantly, the installation team did a superb job and was very professional in their dealings with us. Despite the fact the installation took place in January there was minimal mess and all work was completed in the shortest time possible. I would definitely use Welda again and have recommened them to friends and colleagues.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I had replaced some of my windows recently and I obtained about 5 quotes ; some of those estimates were lower than Welda's but I definetly did not see the value in their products. I chose Welda and couldn't be any happier with my new windows, the whole experience from the beginning, meeting with the consultant Jimmy and finally the installation by a professional and friendly crew, was done with a high level of service and trust. All at a competitive price that was very much worth it.I would highly recommend to my neighbors and friends and my advise to you is..." Do not go for the low priced product, choose quality and value that will last a life time".Thank you Welda Windows for an exellent job and keep up the good work.Answer from pro:

They replaced and repaired five bedroom windows and did an enclosure on the porch. The guy did a good job. Everything with the windows was done in a day too. The price was a bit much but the glass enclosure for the porch was the highest quality glass so I understand. The only problem I had with them was that I found a little water on the porch enclosure one day after they'd been working and wasn't happy with that. I'd recommend them.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

After a lengthy investigation and getting quotes from 8 window and door companies, including renowned names, we chose WELDA. We installed all new windows and doors in my daughters house. Major in the project was that we made out of two windows a bay window on the second floor, which included scaffolding. Also, out of one window and a door, sliding patio doors were made to the garden. It all included major brick removal. Plus there were 7 more windows and 2 Entrance doors. It was a big project as all doors and window were in very bad shape, but WELDA did a fabulous and superb job. It is indescribable how happy we are with this excellent installation. The job was done so expertly and fast that we were not at all inconvenienced in our daily life. And the best of all, the price was perfect. For us only WELDA is the company to install windows and doors. If there is a company providing superior workmanship and quality it is WELDA! Thank you WELDA we are very grateful!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Welda came back, and finished the frame on the window and everything just looks great. I think that Avi (our installer) did a wonderful job, and I would recommend Welda Windows without any hesitation - Very satisfied. PREVIOUS POST> Welda came to put in two new doors and a window after I did an Internet search to find them. The guys that came were very nice but they were supposed to come and finish the frame on the window and they never did. I tried getting them to come back to do it but then I had a baby so I couldn't chase them anymore. Once they come back to finish the work on the window I would recommend them to others.Review from jeremy mimnagh Mimnagh jeremy mimnagh Mimnagh

Beware of Welda contracts. I signed a contract and made a downpayment to Welda in September 2012. In November Andrey from Welda contacted me and said they were not going to do the work unless I paid another $4000. I suggested to him that not doing the work would be a breach of our contract. Andrey said that the contract I signed was NOT binding.Answer from pro:
This was a very sad and thankfully isolated case. Company Representative who did this quote was not well, that we didn't know about, and he passed away only weeks after providing this quote. He was a trusted employee who is dearly missed. He did not make mistakes in his work, but this time it seems due to his illness there were a lot of mistakes on this quote. When we went back to measure we discovered it was off such a significant amount that we are not able to do this job as specified. We have done work before for Jeremy and his family and referrals he's giving us, which we are most grateful for. We explained the situation to him and he was understanding at the time. Notice in his scan of the contract there is no signature from Welda Windows - General Manager, because we could not accept the contract. All contracts must be reviewed and accepted by head office, which is a standard policy we have to protect both ourselves and our clients from errors. Even though we have the right to refuse the contract, we offered him 2 options: 1- returning his deposit PLUS additional money as our apology for his inconvenience: 2 - we would complete the project with the materials & labour at cost. Option 2 would make this project thousands of dollars cheaper than any of our competitors which he also got quotes from. He decided to get his deposit back, which we sent him in December, he cashed our cheques and we hoped he understood our difficult and unfortunate position and we wish him all the best. It is shocking he would post this review and we are very disappointed. Despite him already walking away with more money, we feel he is still trying to take advantage of an unfortunate situation.
