    Chimney rebuild

    I contacted Wilkens contracting to replace a chimney because the bricks were falling off and was a safety concern. After contacting Olivia they quickly provided an estimate that was very reasonable given the amount of work that had to be done. Frank and Mike who completed the work are exceptional professionals and were able to match the bricks to the period style of the house and completed the work within the specified period of time. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future. DC Toronto

    Fantastic!

    Needed the chimney rebuilt to repair water damage. The work was tidy, done carefully and with precision. Frank, the mason, is an artist. Many years experience - he explained what the damages were, how he was repairing it and why he was doing it that way. Felt confident in their work, they were respectful and took all precautions considering covid-19. Cleaned everything up - exactly how you would want a job to be completed. Excellent workmanship, care and respect of our property and home. Highly, highly recommend their work!!!

    tuckpointing northwest wall of house

    I used Wilkens a few years ago to re point my chimney and they did an excellent job, so I did not hesitate to get them to do extensive tuckpointing on the weather beaten wall of my 50s house. The estimate was quick and very reasonable. Jake came soon after and did a professional and excellent job, no fuss no muss. I will certainly use Wilkens again and recommend them to friends and neighbours.

    Tuck pointing, brick replacement

    House, about 100 years old, needed some tuck pointing and brick replacement. Wilkens provided a quick response, reasonable estimate (others were much more expensive and wanted to do more extensive work than seemed necessary), and Bill did the actual work very well and with only four more bricks than were called for in estimate. Good job!

    Long time excellence

    I first used Wilkens for tuck pointing on my first home in Leaside in the early 1980s . Excellence service . When I moved to another vintage brick house in 2011 I again relied on Wilkens to tuck point the whole house . Recently I used them again for a smaller Job on the front porch . Again the work was excellent and well priced . Real value for $$ . Quite special to deal with the same firm with the same results over a 40 year period !

    Repairs to walkway, porch, wall and driveway.

    This Fall (2019) is the sixth time that I've used Wilkens for masonry work on multiple properties. The work is always superb, both technically and aesthetically. Bill did the latest job, repairing a flagstone walkway, concrete porch, brick wall and asphalt driveway. He was a pleasure to deal with, due his dedication to quality, attention to detail, and patience in clearly explaining every aspect of the work. Once again, the outcome was worth every penny.     Fireplace Renovation

    Totally happy with the work. The project included the Chimney (coursing, flue, and rain caps) and the Firebox, Damper, Hearth, and some additional brickwork. It took approximately 2 weeks. The Wilkens team did a great job with a high attention to detail. I appreciated their honesty; and their team was very good to work with. The project took a bit longer than expected, however there are always surprises with renovations. I would totally recommend Wilkens for your Chimney and Fireplace needs.

    Impeccable

    We used Wilkens Contracting a few days ago to close a couple of basement windows. The pricing was fair, service was done quickly and the end result looks very nice. We will most definitely use them again when we do our tuckpointing in a few years and we can highly recommend this company.

    Chimney rebuild

    Frank and his sons completely rebuilt our crumbling chimney. They were hard working, quiet, polite, prompt and cleaned up perfectly. Their work is beautiful and it’s nice to finally be able to use our fireplace again. Dealings with Wilkens from start to finish was very professional. Thanks! Gayle
