    Reconnect leaking hose

    I had gotten an air conditioner system from Melvyn before. Awesome guy, nice and one of the most honest guys I've ever dealt with. I had all these other salesmen come to my house trying to weasel their product to me, but Mel was direct and down to earth. This is the kind of company you want to leave your hands in, because some of the other companies out there are really shady. This time I just reconnected a leaking hose to another hose piece because the water in the furnace was making a mess in the basement. Mel's guys came and did the job quick and easy, no hassle, and it was super fast.

    Furnace installation

    Mel has taken care the HVAC in our house since we moved in 12 years ago. Most recently, Mel installed a separate furnace in our garage turned workshop. It was an unorthodox project, but Mel came with ideas about how the unit should be installed to work best and not take up too much space. We are very happy with the result. He is reliable, thoughtful, and has his clients best interests in mind. He has a great deal of experience that you instantly benefit from when you hire him. You get quality products, materials and very professional, timely service from World of Comfort.

    York 15 SEER AC

    Wonderful service. From the time I called until after the installation. Professional service, kept me up to date, apologized and made up for an error at company's loss, on time, cheaper prices than the other companies. A lot of the other companies were very shady and insisted on giving me the whole show. Mel was straight up, gave me the prices for different units, and that was that. Exactly what customers are looking for.

    Installed Ductless Air Conditioner

    Mel and his team are super professional. I sent an email requesting a quote. And received a response 2 hours later -- on a stat holiday! Mel even came to our house the same day to discuss our needs. His prices were competitive. On the day of installation (2 days after the original quote) the installers were on time, which is rare for contractors. They were polite, efficient and incredibly hard-working. They were here all day, installed the units with care. Very clean and absolutely first rate. Mel also followed up the following day to ensure I was happy. If you need an HVAC team, call me. You wont regret it. Really.

    Ductless A/C Installation

    We obtained several quotes on our A/C installation and had also talked to a few neighbors about their ductless A/C setups. What swung us over to World of Comfort was their knowledgeable advice. Mel took a good look at our place and filled me in on where all the components would go, the routing of the refrigerant lines, etc. At his suggestion we went with two indoor units and a two ton external heat pump unit (Fujitsu) which could be expanded to a third indoor unit later if we needed it. The installation went very well with the four-man crew doing a fantastic job (very neat, clean installation). They were finished in about a day and a half and cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. We've had the system in place for about 3-4 weeks now and have had some hot days and some cold days so we've been able to test both the A/C and the heating. Everything works great. The A/C units draw a lot of moisture out of the air and leave it cool and comfortable inside on hot days. This is a huge upgrade from our old window A/C units. We're very confident about recommending World of Comfort. They do it right and care about the quality of their work and your satisfaction.

    radiant floors, ducltess a/c and relocation of heating pipes

    World of Comfort did extensive work in our house. First, they installed in floor heating in November 2010. They did an amzaing job. The installation was flawless and the workers were extremely competent and courteous. This challenging job was reasonably priced and we are very satisfied with the result. Mel and Tim arranged and fully coordinated the gypcrete pour over the radiant pipes. The work went really smoothly. We did not hesitate to hire World of Comfort again for our ductless air conditioning. They meticulously installed the units and ensured that the pipes and wires were hidden behind our walls. the job was quite challenging as we had 4 inside units installed, on 3 floors. The way they were able to fish the wires and tubing to these locations is quite impressive. there is almost no damage to the drywall. We also asked World of Comfort to relocate the main heating pipes in our basement in order to properly finish our basement ceiling. Again, they did a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend World of Comfort for any heating or cooling project. Mel, Tim, Henry and the rest of the team are true professionals who will go the extra mile to ensure a high quality installation. Louis, Yonge and Eglinton, Toronto.

    Combi Boiler

    I had initially met with Mel after receiving a number of other quotes. His pricing was competitive based on what I had heard. What made me go with this firm was that I got the impression that they actually cared and backed the work that they perform. Mel's integrity and honesty throughout the process was commendable. The crew that came to my house were very clean and respectful - they worked a couple of very long days to get the job done in time. based on the work, we were going to be out heat for one evening. The crew brought heaters for us and ensured that we had the hot water working etc. I will end up using these guys for servicing if required and would recommend them to others. Replacing a heating system is one of those expensive things that you just have to do... this company seems to understand that and makes it a good experience.

    furnace

    Mel and his team are awesome. They came and gave me a quote and were punctual and friendly. They returned when promised and did a bang up job. I highly recommend them to friends and family. Well done Mel

    Replaced water heater

    Shop around no more. I am very picky and I always research and shop around extensively before committing to anything. World of Comfort provided me with excellent customer service, workmanship, integrity and value. Mel responded quickly to my inquiry, was very knowledgeable, patient and prices were very competitive. He dissuaded me from unnecessary work (and unnecessary expense). The work crew arrived on time, work was done meticulously and work area was left spotless. I am more than pleased and I love my new Bradford and White water heater.
