Frontier Flooring did an incredible job with our hardwood floors. They are amazingly professional, respectful and efficient. We were thoroughly impressed with the company owners, the installers, and the operations manager, Peter, who was a very detail oriented perfectionist. The staff not only performed a stellar job, but consistently explained the details of our various options throughout the process. It was not only a renovation affair, but a definitely a learning experience too. I would recommended them to anyone. They do fabulous work at a competitive rate and treat their clients with respect by keeping us in the loop throughout the reno process.

From the beginning, Rob at Frontier made me feel comfortable about choosing flooring for my place, which was a complicated situation in terms of colour. He presented me several beautiful and practical options that were in my budget, and estimation and work began EXACTLY when he said they would. Both the estimator and the installers came right on time, and the installers did a wonderful job (complicated install: herringbone floor is glued-down and takes a long time), were very polite, and left my house cleaner than how it had been when they came in. Plus, they finished half a day earlier than estimated! I now have the most beautiful floor I've ever seen. Thank you, Frontier Flooring!

My wife and I purchased a resale condo about 8 months ago. This winter we noticed the laminate flooring in the main room was "bubbling" in the middle. We thought it might be water damage, but weren't completely sure as it was in the middle of the floor. We had the building manager and three flooring contractors look at the floor - all thought it was the result of a poorly installed floor - understandable since the floor was indeed poorly installed. After getting several estimates, we selected Frontier to replace the floor. Two Frontier employees showed up right on time on the scheduled day and began ripping up the old floor. It was soon obvious the damage had been caused by water leaking in from the balcony. Since the concrete base was wet and there was a leak that needed to be sealed, the installers left and told us to call back when everything was fixed. We sealed the leak and re-scheduled with Frontier. Again, the Frontier employees showed up on time and quickly completed the job. The floor looks great, Frontier was very responsive whenever we called and the employees were extremely professional.

We chose Frontier Flooring because of their ten stars and they certainly proved their rating. The whole experience was smooth and hassle-free. From the start they listened and answered all our questions and gave excellent advice. They always returned phone calls and emails and arrived on time at our home. Peter clearly explained how the job would be done when he came to measure. Our house is over one hundred years old and nothing is level. Frontier Flooring leveled our floors and laid the new bamboo and the results are fantastic. We are so very happy and would recommend them to everyone. I purchased my first home in February and got flooring quotes from a few places downtown as well as Frontier. Their prices are MUCH more reasonable than what you can find downtown and I found the Frontier team to be honest, helpful, and very knowledgeable! Also, they got the job done in one day!

My wife and I were very impressed with the level of professionalism exhibited by Frontier Flooring. Combined with a genuine passion for their work, I would have to say this is one of the best contractors we have ever dealt with. They obviously take great pride in their Homestars rating and, not content to rest on their laurels, work hard to maintain and improve upon their reputation. We had other reputable companies in for estimates, and there was a noticeable difference in the level of knowledge, expertise and thoroughness and yet, Frontier's price was significantly lower. One well known company quoted us about 15% higher and they wanted us to hire a plumber to come in and remove and re-install our radiators. We dealt mostly with estimator and on-site project overseer- Peter. His experience and expertise border on artisan qualities. We were also refacing our fireplace and installing a stone feature wall and, on advice from many others, had other contractors in first to complete this work. Before we had even committed to Frontier (we were still looking at other quotes) we called Peter while the stonework contractors were in to get his opinion on the kitchen sub-floor. He came over within 30 minutes. While he was here he began talking to the stonework contractors and it quickly became apparent that it was going to be difficult to do the stonework first (for instance they would have to "glue" the first layer of stone- free floating 1" above the exisiting floor and then build the floor up and underneath- not exactly ideal- structurally or aesthetically). It was quite apparent that when Peter was talking to the other contractors that he was in a league of his own- not only in expertise but his passion and commitment. We went with Frontier and choose Mirage Maple Auburn. Our house is 80 years old- and the floors were original. This posed many challenging levelling problems. Peter's attention to detail and quality was truly remarkable and essential for an old home like ours. Even with all his experience- it was nice to see how excited he was in doing a good job and in beautifying our house. He had great ideas- like "reducers" at the feet of the radiators- which not only eliminated the need to remove the radiators but also make for a very nice architectural detail. Our new floors make it seem like we have a brand new home. An important note- after having the stoneworkers back in after the floors were installed- they had some stones fall and gouge our new floors. I called Frontier (Angelo and Frank) and they were very understanding. They immediately dispatched someone to come by and replace the damaged boards out of good will!!. Thanks to Frank, Rob, Angelo and Peter - we will recommend you to all our friends (and have already done so).

We love our new hardwood floors! Frank and the team at Frontier Flooring were amazing. From initial quote through to installation only 5 days later, everything was exactly as they promised. The floors are beautiful and make a HUGE difference to our home. Can't say enough about the professionalism and attention to detail of the team at Frontier ... they were a pleasure to have in our home!

Just an amazing job. They exceeded my expectations. They were priced perfectly, and their installers were perfectionists -- they completed the job in less than 2 days (as promised), and did a wonderful job with the clean up too!! Would recommend to anybody A + work by Frontier! Will definitely use again in the future.

As we were searching for flooring companies, we came across Frontier Flooring, who gave us a very competitive price for hardwood purchase and installation. After visiting the showroom and receiving excellent customer service by Angelo, we decided to have Peter in for measuring and a more formal quote. Soon after Vitale (with some help from Peter)came to install the hardwood. WE WERE IMPRESSED and extremely PLEASED at the speed, precision and workmanship.
