    Bathroom renovation

    Quality of people and the work was good. Tony Mancuso, the project manager, went the extra mile and solved a major, unrelated problem with a freezing kitchen sink pipe that had been plaguing us for years. The finished bathroom looks great and I would recommend Royal Home Improvements for any similar project. The only point of contention was the time it took to do the project. The project was started in June 2013 and finished in March 2014. A lot of this had to do with the major rainstorm that occurred in July 2013 which caused such widespread damage across the city. As a result the trades were very hard to book for jobs as they had to respond to emergency situations a lot more important than our bathroom. Notwithstanding this storm effect, this job still took far too long and Tony Mancuso gave us a satisfactory discount to compensate for this. My advice to anyone concerned about timing is to build in penalties in the contract for every week late and a bonus for every week early. In our case we were lucky enough to get a satisfactory discount that reflected the integrity of Royal Home Improvements.

    Bathroom Renovation

    Very pleased with all the work that was done. John was the project manager and he made the entire project as painless as possible. The two tradesmen, Jack and Wes were very nice and understanding during the renovation considering there is only one bathroom in the house. John believed that the project would start sometime in the middle of July; it actually started at the end of June. Just wanted to say thanks to the guys for the for the great job they have done. Will recommend to friends and family.

    Kitchen Renovation

    The people that came to my house were very respectable, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Tom and Anthony were phenomenal. They kept the workspace clean and were very courteous. They had good advice to give regarding colours and respected my input and choices.

    Basement bathroom and laundry room renovation

    Out project manager, John, was very helpful in scoping out the project to give us an idea of timing and sequence of events. The two on-site contractors, Wes and Jack, were very courteous, punctual and kept the work area clean. The high quality of their work, together with their ongoing advice and suggestions made us feel very comfortable. The project was finished to our complete satisfaction.

    Kitchen Renovation

    The work was done to our entire satisfaction. The workmanship and finishes were excellent and the team conducted themselves in a thoroughly professional manner. From our initial encounter with Alban in Febuary, who provided good advice leading to an estimate for the work, to Octavia who helped us in cupboard selection, to the Project Manager, John. John organized the team and timing to ensure minimal disruption to our household and successful completion in as short a time as possible and within our budget. A special mention for Saba who was the main man at the site. His industriousness and meticulous attention to detail especially impressed us and in our view his dedication resulted in a successful project. We would not hesitate to use Royal Home Improvements or recommend them to others for future renovation projects.

    Living area renovation

    I have done several renovations and this one was really a trouble free one. There was no problem with punctuality, availability or action whenever it was required. They were even ahead of schedule. My living room has been transformed into bright, comfortable and attractive spot. I thought that the price is on the higher side, but quality and seamless coordination of different tasks (flooring, electricity, pipes) compensates well for it. After the work was finished, the field manager, Alex, inspected the work and even suggested some minor fixes that I did not notice. Overall, my whole experience with Royal Home Improvement was very positive and I am more than satisfied with the end result of their work. I would not hesitate to work with Royal Home Improvement again.

    Entire main floor, including kitchen and upstairs bathroom

    The sales guys that ended up managing our project (Brad) was really not up to the task. Since he finished, which was quite a while ago, we've had to have several things fixed that were not done correctly the first time. This includes plumbing (we had sewer gas wafting through the house because of him and his team), caulking, electrical and a number of issues with general quality of workmanship. Also worth noting, Brad would not show up for a few days at time while making himself unreachable during that period. One thing he did remember to do his ask for his checks, even of the work was not completed. Which it never really was. Truth is, he asked me to make the final payment before quite a few small things he been completed. Naively, I agreed. You can probably guess how many follows up and return phone calls I've received since then.

    Family Room renovation etc

    Royal Home Improvements has just completed a major renovation of the lower level of the house, including family room, bathroom, hardwood throughout the house and new railing on stairs. The outcome is better than I could ever have imagined. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of all the teams involved in the renovations. Special mention must go to the Project Manager - Mark Davies. He kept me up to date on all aspects of the work; he was always available to talk and ensured that the work was completed to our collective satisfaction. I would highly recommend Royal Home Improvements.

    Bathroom Renovation

    Our new bathroom looks great! Iain's budget was right on and he made some good suggestions during the planning stages of the project. In my opinion, all the work comes down to the quality of the trades. We had a great team with Wes leading the charge. He's a veteran with an eye for detail and an easy-going manner. Our project manager Mark brought in other top-notch trades (roofing, electrical) and made sure that everything on the job went smoothly. A solid job by Royal Home Improvements.

    bathroom reno

    My husband and I were very happy with the work done by Royal Home Improvements. All of the people we dealt with were very professional. Mark Davies, our project manager was very helpful and we had lots of questions for him. If he wasn't sure he consulted a plumber or electrician to get us the information we needed. He checked with us regularly to see if everything was ok and also dropped in to see how things were progressing. Wes was friendly and knowledgable and at the end of each day everything was cleaned up and put away. Wes gave a lot of attention to detail. We are very pleased with the work done in our bathroom and would highly recommend Royal Home Improvements to anyone wanting quality work done in their home.
