    purchased Washer and Dryer

I recently purchased a washer and dryer and within a couple of months the dryer required a service. I called the company and I was quickly assisted with getting in touch with the right entity to service the equipment. Within a couple of days a service man arrived and replaced the faulty part.

    All Our appliances

We received horible customer service from one of the sales staff, he really didn't want to help us he made us wait really long for his help. Told us to go around a write the model numbers down then he would price the things out. When we went in his office with the paper he then picked up the phone and continued to talk to others while we were in his office. Pricing is okay, but the lack of effort and kindness from the one rep has put me off from spending my hard earned money with them.

    New fridge

I have always bought all my appliances there but this year my 13 year old Amana fridge died. I went there to buy a new one and was impressed that the fellow was able to match and give a lower price for me. Once the fridge arrived it turned out the seals were leaking. Within one hour of my phone call, someone came over, fixed it all up and I was very happy.

    Washer, dryer and dishwasher

We have been looking for Miele appliances for a couple of months when somebody recommended to us Appliance Canada. The staff is very knowledgeable and customer focused. By buying several items as the same time we got a good deal (you can bargain for the prices). However, when you come to the store, you need to know which brand you are looking for as the selection is overwhelming. No problem with delivery.

    All home appliances

I spent over 10 K on appliances. My god.... I can't believe why this company is still in the market. All appliances they sent me were damaged. I was sending them back to them and the new ones i was receiving were worst. Long story sort. it took me over a month to have my stove delivered to my house and that was damaged as well. I called the manager LINTON to cancel the whole order. This guy in order to keep the sale, he promised me to have the side panel repleced, the scratches fixed and an additional 200 dollars back credited to my account for the inconvinience. 2 months have been passed by and i haven't received any of the above. I called Linton back and he said he doesn't recall the above promieses. He said he is gonna review the recorded conversations and get back to me. I am still waiting for him to get back to me. GUYS DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS. Their are very difficult to deal with and it is guaranteed that your appliances are not going to be in a brand new condition when delivered. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME Addendum: I would like to recall my previous posting and appologize to Mr. Linton. It was clearly a missanderstanding in our agreement. Mr Linton called me back and we sorted things out in a very professional way. I would deffinetely do business again with appliance canada and recomend them to friends and family. Thanks, Nik

    WTW5200 Washing Machine

On Wednesday, the order for the washing machine was placed over the telephone. I confirmed the amount, total that would be billed. I was told Delivery would occur on Saturday, and that on the next day, somebody would contact me to confirm the delivery. I told that them if Saturday was going to be the delivery date, it would have to be outside the hours of 12-3pm, as the elevator was booked by another unit. I was told that would be no problem. I also requested to have the invoice sent to me, and was advised that he would have it in the mail that afternoon, so it should be there on Friday before the washing machine. (I was skeptical, and I advised him of that). He offered to email it to me. It never showed up. On Thursday, I did get a call that advised me that the delivery would be on Saturday. Great. On Friday afternoon, I got a call advising me that the delivery would be between 1 and 3pm and that I would get a call from the delivery vehicle 1 hour before their arrival. I told them that between 12 and 3 the elevator was booked by another person. She advised me that since 1 and 3 is withing 12 and 3, that is ok. I again told her that the elevator was booked by a different person, which is where she started to yell and become very beligerent, advising me that this is when it will be delivered and hung up on me. I then called to speak to a manager, who I advised of the situation about the delivery, and he told me that he would call me back shortly. I never heard back from the manager. On the next Saturday, they delivered the washing machine (attempted to) but as they did not call me, I did not have the time to be there for the delivery. I called them a few hours after I arrived home and advised of what happened. I spoke to 2 individuals, one of whom was very condescending and accusatory to my situation. The other individual was attempting to resolve things, but was not able to get the delivery attempted later that same day. They did offer me an extended warranty, but if the customer service is this difficult to deal with not having even received the item, I do not expect it to go any different with the extended warranty. I will be calling them during the weekday to speak to the owner to advise of what has happened, and see about how to proceed. Delivery was scheduled for Tuesday morning (between 6:30am and 7;00am) with the stipulation that I will have to leave by 7:00am in order to get to work. That morning, nobody showed up by that time. At 7:02am, I contacted Joanne Volpe at customer service (on one of our discussions, she advised me to call her if there was a problem on that delivery, as she is in at that time). I did not get any answer, but I left her a voicemail stating that it was already after 7:00am and no delivery has shown up. I called Appliance Canada throughout the day and eventually got in touch with John Ooulahen (the company owner) who apologized for the repeatedly missed deliveries. He asked me about whether he could arrange to have the delivery done when I was not home and have security let me in. I told him that I was told that * I * had to be home in order to sign for the delivery and the credit card. He said he could arrange to waive the required credit card signing and proceed from there. I told him that I would get back to him with when I could be there to arrange the delivery. Since that, I have both called and left voicemails as well as emailed John Oulahen throughout the day and have not gotten any responses at all. I have gotten responses from Joanne Volpe, but the responses are of no benefit and simply extending the frustration. I will wait to see what happens and if the owner does get in touch with me, as requested in the voicemail as well as in the emails where I requested to have him contact me directly. At this point, this has been such a difficult experience in getting the washing machine and the horrible treatment by certain individulas of the company. This is the kind of company that seems to value lower prices and put no value on customer service and I will not only not recommend them to any person to purchase any items but I will also ensure that I tell everyone that I know now to even consider them.

    all new appliances

We bought all of our new home appliances here. My biggest regret. The items were not all delivered on time, the components did not fit together.... and I was told that the salesman's own appliance had the same issue so not to worry! Getting repairs done (range hood and stove malfunction) has been nigh on impossible. No-one ever calls back. Only threats get a tepid response. I won't use them ever again.

    Purchase of Appliances for Kitchen

An issue arose with a new refrigerator post delivery. Jeremy in Customer Service was outstanding. What could otherwise have been a very stressful situation was diffused with competency and caring. Kudos to Jeremy. He represents the company very well!!

    Kitchen Renovation

I Spent about $40,000 with appliance canada with new renovations to my home.Service was outstanding, when a company has this level of service they are simply the Best. The reception at the door was great, salesman was fantastic and new his stuff.Even the confirmation people who contacted me for my delivery were outstanding.Appliance Canada even called me the day before at about 2pm to tell me what time my delivery would be there for the following day.Just like confirmation said they would, the driver called me the next day with a 1hr notice, again just like confirmation said they would.Drivers were fantastic, the dridge was a 36 inch kitchenaid,so the entrance was a litlle tight. The drivers worked hard and made it look easy.I would recommend appliance canada to the WORLD.Keep up the good work appliance canada.
