    Appliances

We bought our appliances from appliance canada for our first home. The service was good, through Dora Chow, but we found the prices for upgrades very high. For the price of upgrading our fridge we could go to Sears to get something! Delivery was good, right on time, and customer from thereon in has been good, too. I would recommend going to AC if you get a voucher from your builder, but if you're looking to upgrade you're better off somewhere else.

Appliance Retailer, Purchased new appliances for my kitchen renovation

I recently purchased about $17000 worth of appliaces from Appliance Canada. I received 9 out of the 10 pieces I had ordered on time, with the most expensive and important appliance missing. It seemed like no one at appliance canada was able to tell me why I had not received the product ($5000 Value) that had been ordered and paid in full over three months ago. Mrs Volpe (Customer service manager, Appliance Canada) tracked the item for me and is having it shipped to me this coming weekend. It was a relief dealing with such a polite, courteous and pleasant individual like Joaane, after months of dealing with enormous stress renovating my home.

I can honestly say that Appliance Canada was amazing, not only was my sales rep. fantastic but customer service was such a pleasure to deal with. I mostly enjoyed speaking with Marco and Jean from confirmations who dealt with my delivery date of my appliances. Thanks for making my experience with Appliance Canada unforgetable and i will most definatley refer friends and family to your company. Mike

    Dishwasher purchase

We called Appliance Canada to ask if they had a KitchenAid KUDK03CTSS dishwasher in stock as we were ready to buy and wanted to pick it up the same day. We were told they had the item in stock so we drove out to Concord to pick it up. After paying we were told that the warehouse staff were not working and we'd have to wait for it to be delivered a couple of days later. We took time off work to accept delivery and after waiting some time, called to find out what time they would arrive. We were then told that it would arrive the next day. So we again took time off to accept delivery and when we called back we were *again* told that it would arrive the following day. We called to ask for some sort of repayment to cover our installer's call-out fee but the manager offered $15 which was more offensive than anything. After paying our installer for his time, we decided to cancel the order and never to buy from this company again. AWFUL AFTER-SALES!

    Purchased all appliances

I purchased all of my appliances from Derek at Appliance Canada and I couldn't be happier!!! Derek was very knowledgable about all my options and suggested things that I didn't think of. Priciing for all of the appliances was much lower that the other normal retailers (even cheaper than the sale prices). I would definitely recommend buying appliances/electronics from Derek at Appliance Canada!

    Extended Warranty

We purchased extended warranty on appliances that we purchased. When it came time for us to use that extended warranty you get nothing but the run around. They sub-contract the warranty work off so you’re not even really dealing with Appliance Canada anymore. We have been waiting a month for a repair on a washer. A month!!! A family of 6 adds up to tons of laundry. The repair place that is handling the work ordered the incorrect part so that leaves us stuck waiting. Service is horrible in general. In the past 5 years we have dropped $30,000+ in appliances for our homes. Never again will I give my money to Appliance Canada nor will I ever recommend them to family and friends.

    New Kitchen Appliances

Here is the actual email I sent to their Manager of Customer Service on September 23rd, 2008. ------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Joanne, Just wanted to share the negative experience we had with our order. On April 19, 2008 we placed an order with Appliance Canada for about $7000 (stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher). We advised that the order will need to be delivered on or around first week of September 1st, 2008 when we take possession of our new home in Oakville. First, despite giving Appliance Canada nearly 5 months to make sure all of the ordered items are in, we were told that our fridge was "back ordered" and nobody could advise as to when it will arrive. On the first delivery, our stove arrived with it's door window smashed. The driver tried very hard to have us sign-off on the paperwork before I noticed the damage. This had to be re-delivered. Secondly, and after much frustration, we were called by your store and advised that our fridge will finally be delivered today, September 23rd, 2008 - which was confirmed by your staff on Sept 22nd. Just now, and only because we called in to check, we were told that the fridge is not arriving today, and the new date is September 24th. I actually took a vacation day to be here for delivery. Finally - your staff in Customer Service are extremely rude and take no ownership of any of the issues. It goes without saying that we will never do business with you again. ----------------------------------------------------------------

    Kitchen renovation

My wife and I moved north to Canada recently and remodeled a kitchen in our new home here. We purchased a dishwasher from Appliance Canada and to our dismay, the sales person failed to tell us the dishwasher lacks a heating element. We now have a Bosch dishwasher that does not dry dishes, even after 7hrs. The sales person suggests we should ask Bosch to come look at this contraption, and has twice stalled my request to return the appliances. As of today, they did the right thing and accepted the Bosch dishwasher. We have upgraded for $200 to a very fine kitchen aid dishwasher with both a garberator (food chopper) and heating element, with digital display on the front indicating how far along the wash cycle it is. We are absolutely in love with this new appliance and would definitely recommend anyone considering to look the models over, go home and do your research on the internet, and come back to get a fair price from these guys. Their price was fair compared to other prices we searched on Internet and locally.

    Kitchen Renovation

I did a major kitchen renovation recently and used Appliance Canada to purchase all my appliances. I spent over $30,000 and from start to finish Appliance Canada was easy to deal with, they had the best price, called the day before delivery to confirm all the appliances and the delivery men were super nice! Their showroom is the nicest I have seen in the city and has everything you need under one roof...even TV's! I would recommend Appliance Canada to everyone..go see Derek Zaretsky...he was great!
