I recently moved into a small irregular shaped and challenging condo that I needed to paint. Based on the reviews from HomeStars and friends recommendations I contacted various companies for quotes and scheduling. Renaissance was the one standing out by far. My schedule became very tight because of an unexpected event and needed this job done in 3 days max starting in 2 days not including the weekend. I called Jason and in a couple of minutes all my worries went away. The unexpected, the time constraints, the shape of the condo, the number of colours, things that other companies raised as problems did not exist for Jason. Calm and courteous he explained to me what needs to be done so then everything can be handled. We made an appointment for the actual quote over the weekend and finalised details. Mike show up for the estimate and then the work started. One of the things that impressed me was the punctuality. I could have set my watch after Mike. He starts at the time that he says, not a minute early and not one late. His work is of excellent quality and so was Joe's which worked with Mike in the first day. Thru the project Jason and Mike informed and advised me of every single thing, from the quality of paint to the amounts required. Mike is fantastic, professional, funny, no challenge or obstacle that he cannot solve. Towards the end of the job but before completion Jason and Geoff checked with me to make sure that all good and if there is anything that need change, fixing etc.  I am extremely impressed with the company and would not consider anyone else for my future projects. If anyone looks for  absolute peace of mind, exceptional quality of work, follow through, good quote and perfect scheduling this is the company to call.. Nothing that they cannot handle and a real pleasure working with them. Thank you so much A++

I was thoroughly impressed with Renaissance Painters. From the organization with Jason, to their ability to fit my schedule into theirs. The most impressive part was the work that Mike completed in an efficient amount of time, with almost an artistic quality. I have never seen wall coverings done so perfectly. I will be using Renaissance Painters for all of my painting and wall-cover needs in the future. Thank you so much to the crew!!

I needed an exterior paint job on the 3rd floor rooftop area that is hard to access. Picked Renaissance Painters from home stars and happy I did. They used high quality paint and were able to complete my request to my satisfaction within a promised time frame. Warranty on the provided exterior paint job was also excellent and I was given an advice how to monitor paint job just performed. I also really liked that Jason, who was in charge of getting resources, was always easily accessible by phone even on weekends. Vaso and his brother did excellent work and I will look them up for my future paint jobs. I didn't mind paying a bit more given that paint job location on the steep roof was quite dangerous to do, contractors were very professional and knew what they were doing and it was done when promised. Absolutely no hassle for me.

The Renaissance Painters team did an excellent job, remained on schedule, was very responsive, and came with good communication throughout the job. I would rate them 10 out of 10.

Our kitchen cabinets were looking old and worn and we did not want to go to the expense or inconvenience of replacing them. We hired Renaissance after meeting with Jason and Vasso and were confident that their method of painting the cupboards would give us what we wanted. We were right. The finish on the cupboards is beautiful and has exceeded our expectations. Vasso and his very talented crew were always on time, worked quickly and neatly and always listened to our requests and concerns, which were all addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend Renaissance, their prices were competetive, their crew professional, and they did what they said they would do and more Thank you Jason, Vasso and all.!

We were very happy with the exceptional quality of service provided by Renaissance Painters. The fact that you were so responsive and able to accommodate our timing perfectly was very helpful. That you could suggest a designer to help us with our colour selections was also fantastic. Most importantly, the quality of the finished product is outstanding. We would highly recommend Renaissance Painters, their work was superb, and the quality of finish was notable. We needed our kitchen cupboards redone as we wanted to list our house for sale. Renaissance workers were on time, courteous, and clearly took pride in their work. Our house sold in 5 days, and the look of the cupboards was a big part of the sale.

Deadlines were consistently missed. The house was confirmed to be painted by June 26 because we were leaving for NYC the next day and I wanted to be home for the job. It was not done and when I returned I was and still am so disappointed about the colour I chose. This was my fault, but had deadlines been met I could have stopped the job. The owner knows I'm not happy but picked up payment and quoted me a ridiculous amount for a re-do. I'll be looking at other companies for the fix because while I'll pay for the job I don't think a second profit should be made.

I recently moved to Vaughan and our new house had wooden trim and wood facades that were shabby looking. Indeed, some portions of the wood had started to rot away. I contacted Jason at Renaissance to obtain a quote. He asked me whether I wanted to use the same colours and I initially said yes. Jason tactfully suggested that the neutral colours were not enhancing the beauty of the house, and offered to set me up with a free colour consultation at Benjamin Moore. I met with an interior designer to select our colours. All throughout the process, Jason stayed in touch to check on the scheduling, to make suggestions, and to ensure that our job could get done quickly. Jason even agreed to throw in a couple of additional paint fix-ups at the house, at no additional charge. His crew finished painting yesterday, and we could not be more thrilled. They repaired the rotting wood and did an amazing paint job. The house is stunning. His folks were tidy and hard-working, and never showed any impatience or frustration, even when I asked for a few tweaks. They were absolutely lovely. Before retaining Renaissance, I had called around for competing quotes. Several painters did not even deign to get back to me, presumably because the job, as I described it in my voice message, was too small for them to bother. Another painter was curt, informing me that he could only get to my job at the end of August. Yet another painter informed me that I'd have to get the rotting wood repaired myself, or wait a month for his carpenter to have time. Jason and Vaso treated me with respect and always made me feel like a valued client, even though the job was not a big one. I cannot praise Renaissance enough, and I will certainly be retaining them for any future painting jobs I have in my home.
