Of all the contractors we worked with during our condo renovation, the ceiling plaster guys were the most skilled and experienced and did the best work. We scraped our own popcorn ceilings off and called Renaissance when we realized we were in over our head with skim coating with plaster to smooth the concrete underneath. They were able to start and finish the job from plastering to painting in in a very short period of time. Our ceilings look absolutely perfect and you can't tell there was ever popcorn before. The plasterers really knew what they were doing and saved us some time by recommending we don't scrape all the way down to the concrete, but only take off the top layer. The painter was also good and primed and painted quickly and neatly. The only thing that wasn't 100% perfect was the cleanup. A lot of fine dust was left after sanding the plaster and I ended up cleaning a second time with an industrial shop vac to make sure the floors and baseboards were completely dust free before the hardwood was installed.

I am pleased with the work that was done by Renaissance Painters. I had my staircase hallway painted after having lived with the previous owner's ugly wallpaper for too many years. It looks great and I would have done it sooner had I known what a good job Renaissance could do for a reasonable price. Joe was very polite and hard working. He protected all of my floors and oak railings from paint drops and cleaned up everything afterwards. I will have them back again, I'm sure.

The tile, countertop and cork flooring installation was done beautifully. The painting crew did a great job of stripping the old paper and painting. And the cupboards look like new. The whole project was a huge success and the workmen left the place spotless.

My first encounter was with Jason who was always very polite and professional. I have dealt with a lot of service people in the past. The one thing I appreciate the most is communication. Although he is quite busy, he will always respond to your phone calls and emails and keep you up to date with your project. He also provided paint colour consultation with no charge. My painting project involved painting a 4000 sq ft house almost entirely, including a 18 foot living room with cathedral ceilings, 7 rooms and hallways. I needed the job to be done within 5 days. They completed the job in 4 days and hired 6 men on one day to get it done! Overall, I was very happy with their work. Vaso was wonderful and he stands by his work with such a pleasant attitude (some people may not be happy when you point out imperfections) ! There were a few touch ups needed, mostly door trims that were painted on the sides and a few baseboard touch ups. My husband and I are extremely detailed so I would say that the initial job was 95% perfect. Now after Vaso did the touch ups, it's close to perfect! Their quote, I must say is on the higher side, since they do not include paint, but you will be happy with their work. Thanks Jason and Vaso for making our place feel like home!

Renaissance Painters spray-painted my kitchen cupboards. They look like brand new and has updated my kitchen. The team were very professional and did a great job ensuring there would be no mess.

I was very happy with the work done at my place, especially since they were unable to do it on the original date and they agreed to come the next day which was Canada Day. It was a job well done.

Renaissance Painters did a great job. Jason was courteous and professional. He called when he was running late (which I always appreciate). When he arrived for the on-site consultation, he was patient and gave us great feedback and guidance on different colours and how it may impact on the resale value of our home down the line (not that we are planning to move soon but it's always nice to bear such things in mind). After we signed on with Renaissance, Jason called us and set up a time for the painters to come on-site to pick up the kitchen cabinets and also to paint the fixed parts. When there was a time change or whenever I had any questions, Jason was always there to answer my question. The painters were punctual when they came on site (which I always appreciate since I was taking time from work). They were professional and got right down to work. They finished faster than I expected and I was blown away by the quality of their work. The paint dried faster than I expected. The feel of the door is like brand new. You can't even tell it's painted. Both my fiance and I love their job.

The service I received from Renaissance Painting was top notch. Jason, the coordinator of the project (stripping wood from the outside of our modern house and refinishing it to last) was very thorough and reliable. I was consistently made aware of the schedule and where the work was at. The workers were excellent. A small mishap where something got damaged was handled very well and everything was taken care of. A true pleasure. I would recommend these guys to everyone!
