We called Renaissance Painters for a quote, and Jason came over that day to go over prince points, colour options and scheduling. The estimate matched the labour and other costs, and we thought it was more than fair. for our 2 bedroom apartment. Our walls needed some drywall patching, which Mario was great with, lots of cracks were filled, and the crew smoothed out our walls before any paint was applied. The quality of paint was clean and durable. The boys were spotless and tidy too. I highly recommend Renaissance Painters.

As a general contractor, I value these traits and seek to ensure that all my subcontractors possess them. Jason certainly exceeds expectations. Renaissance Painters had finished the exterior of our 65 year-old home over the summer. They were spectacular to work with, on time, respectful of our floors and delicate belongings, along with the integrity of our historical home. We hired Jason and his team to paint the exterior of our Victorian home this past October. Everyone was truly professional from beginning to end. We went over exactly what we wanted during our consultation with Jason, and he was attentive to our needs, answering all of our questions with detailed answers. In the end, our home looks wonderful, and I couldn't have asked for better.

We met with a lot of contractors before choosing who would paint our house. Renaissance was very prompt to response. Jason came over and gave us a fair estimate. He helped us to choose the colors and walked us through the entire process. His crew was fast, clean and efficient. They worked late hours and on weekend to finish on schedule. We are very pleased with their work.

Renaissance Painters' approach to stripping the paint from our 130 year old home was to cope with the partially stripped and unevenly chipped facia of our house. In conclusion, the look of our home is aesthetically satisfying. Mario and his crew worked beyond our expectations. We are delighted with the end result, as are the many neighbors and passers by who stop to comment on our home.

We were happy with the painting of the outside of our house in October 2010. Vassily and Nick were willing to put in the effort to get to hard to reach places, and seemed to be genuinely concerned to do a first class job.

We found Renaissance Painters on Home Stars and were pleased with their competitive quote. Jason was helpful in picking out colours. I was a little disappointed with their organization in setting up the job (mislaid our original quote, had to confirm the start date several times, etc.). The paint job itself was very good. Not perfect (some spots were missed, some rough patchwork) but a good job in a difficult space. I did feel like they rushed the touchups on the last day. The reason for the low rating was the quote. We had two quotes given to us before the job started, itemized by room and area (wall/trim). We decided to not do all the rooms and skim painting the trim. The eventual price- almost double the quote! That was quite a shock and we couldn't help feeling a little ripped off. So overall, I think this is a decent painting company but I would ask them to bring a painter in for the quote, so you know what you will really be paying instead of getting lured in by Jason's initial pitch.

I was very impressed with the level of professionalism that was used. I had looked into other companies, and Renaissance Painters were the only ones to bring colour swatches on the initial consultation. The other paint companies would only show colour choices until after signing a contract. Also no payment was given until the job was done, and I was completely satisfied. They were clean and quick and the staff where very friendly. Overall, I am completely satisfied.
