The carpentry work Renaissance Painters is really superb. Our exterior looked the worse for wear, and we were afraid of the cost it would take to restore it. Would it be cheaper to move? That was our last resort...turns out, with the restoration of our surfaces, our home is on par with some of the newer homes on our street, aesthetically. Good work, team.

To be honest, I didn't even know what a "faux finish" was, but the wife sold me on the idea. Our dining room walls went from bland white to our most favourite room in the house. The faux finish Renaissance Painters did really did add some pizzazz to our home!

Fantastic job with our new wallpaper. Jason was very cordial and specific when he met us with our consultation, and sold us on replacing our wallpaper with a more modern look. Our surfaces were handled with the utmost care, and our house does not have any lingering chemicals during the wallpaper stripping process. Love these guys!

When my wife and I moved into our house, we painted what we could to keep costs down. We recently did a kitchen renovation, but the walls needed some serious plaster-work, and a fresh paint-job. We also couldn't reach the top of our hallways. We quickly found Jason at Renaissance Painters, who would invetibly meet with us to discuss colours, ideas, and how to keep it under budget (crucial for us!). Once we worked out the details, Jason had one his guys (Joe) come by and he got the job down quickly, painlessly, and even CHEAPER than the quote price. Wonderful job guys. Thanks!

We always choose highly-rated contractors through Homestars and were not surprised to have a great experience with Renaissance Painters. Starting with Brian and Jason's great tips on paint colours and level of service options and then Chris's quick carpentry & repair work, and finishing with Nick and crew's rapid prepping and painting, we found everyone to be professional, quick and clean. One minor communication hiccup was resolved rapidly and without fuss. Our house looks fabulous! Especially the cracked and peeling porch pillars which look brand new, just as promised. We definitely got more than 'just a coat of paint' and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Renaissance.

From my first conversation with Jason until the last brush stroke was applied this was both an enjoyable experience and a first rate professional job. All this, at a reasonable price. Even old paint from past sloppy jobs was scraped from my windows while the painter beamed and smiled at me and said, "You are going to get a perfect paint job. I did. The two man team was first rate. They were diligent, friendly and had obvious pride of workmanship. Everything was kept clean while they were working and left spotless at the end of each day. I will not hesitate to call Renaissance Painters again and I highly recommend them to anybody who wants a "perfect paint job".

First time hiring a contractor for this big of a job: an exterior painting project on a new home we bought.
