I recently hired Otto’s Masonry, in part because of positive reviews on HomeStars. They responded to my request to price out some work quickly and sent someone out to look at the job within a few days. They got me in their schedule and stuck to the schedule (in spite of the unpredictable weather we've been having). Their guys (Eddie and Manuel) showed up for the job before 9am on the agreed date and I was shocked to find them still working when I got home after 9pm. They came back and wrapped up the job the next morning (on the first day they had told me the job would be roughly 1-1/2 days). They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and offered to come back if I found any cracks in the cement. Eddie was polite, funny, and pleasant to deal with, even after a long day. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Great job - highly recommended! Crumbling bricks were chisled out and replaced. Near perfect match on 40 to 50 year old bricks.

Otto's Masonry did and excellent job on our front porch, steps and the side of our house. They came to give a quote when they said they would and the two workmen also came on time, did a very good job, both efficiently and cleanly. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Re parging and completely filling in an old window and milk box. General repairs to brick and tuck pointing. I am so happy with the quality of the work done by an excellent mason. His attention to detail and communication was so refreshing. Won’t hesitate to recommend to my friends and family. Thanks Eddie!

An excellent company, they provided very quick estimates, and included some suggestions to improve what we had in mind based on the existing situation. The work was scheduled and completed as estimated, the result was terrific and completely solved the reason we had called them in, and improved what was there. It included replacing a worn cement walkway, as well as tuck pointing and repairing brickwork. Otto and Marie-Jo made sure everything was done to top quality and were very warm, understanding and accommodating. A last minute addition to lay down some parking pad gravel was expedited and done in no time. These folks are terrific. I had not worked with them before but they came highly recommended, and they lived up to the recommendation and more! Thank you!

Our “new” old house had a basement that was not usable for storage. It had mud floors and walls in some areas. We asked Otto’s Masonry to come and build brick walls on two sides of the basement and fill in some holes in the floor. The crew was available earlier than expected and worked hard to get the basement cleaner and repaired to a usable state. They worked very quickly and even came back on Saturday. The crew was very pleasant to have around and they were all very hardworking. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. I am so happy with the results of the job!

Otto’s masonry was recommended by a friend for tuckpointing. We were pleased with the quality of the work and found the cost to be reasonable given the incredible amount of labour that went into the job. Eckhard was diligent, hard working, kind, trustworthy and did a wonderful job on our “concrete/stone” repair and tuckpointing. High quality work for an affordable price.

The team from Otto's Masonry was led by Jon Baxter. The entire team was professional, considerate and hard working. From the moment I contacted Otto's Masonry they were quick to come out and evaluate my job. They subsequently sent us a detailed and honest outline of the scope of work and the cost. They scheduled the job and completed it in a timely manner. There was transparency and communication throughout the job. The work they did is magnificent! I am beyond happy with the outcome. We will be contacting them again for tuck pointing and will not even bother to look at other companies as I trust them to do the work they outline.
