    Goemans Mississauga

    Fridge broke down 1 month after I bought it. Goemans is just a sales front. Once you leave the store and pay, they do not intervene with the third party company who handles delivery and any problems you have. Was misled into thinking Goeman's stands behind their products BUT THEY DO NOT. Instead I have had to fight with TG Appliance Group to get to any resolution. They preach the manufacturer warranty and communication is only by email. They do not stick up for the customer.

    Goemans refuses to take responsibility for damage

    Installers of a new stackable washer/dryer in the upstairs of my home broke a pipe in the wall which caused a leak. A second driver/installer team then came and tightened the connection. This only made a faster leak which led to extensive water damage on our kitchen ceiling. It's been two weeks with no working laundry facilities. We've had to turn off the water to the machine and haven't been able to use it at all. Goemans offered "as a courtesy" to move the machines out of the way so a plumber could come in and fix the pipe (at our expense) and then come back to reinstall on another day (at our expense!!!). No offer to repair the damage to our kitchen ceiling. Meanwhile, still no working washing machine. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business!

    Terrible Experience from start to finish. I regret ever dealing with this company.

    Purchased all new appliances from Goemans, Kitchenaid Gas stove, Kitchenaid Dishwasher, Kitchenaid Fridge, and Maytag front load washer and dryer. My gas stove literally caught on fire while it was being installed. It had an internal gas leak that ignited and melted it's own control board. Thankfully my gas tech wasn't hurt and my house was fine. Went through absolute hell and back dealing with this company to get the stove replaced. Whirlpool Canada (who owns Kitchenaid) basically told me that I'd have to wait almost a week for a tech to come out to asses the situation. After basically screaming with the company on multiple phone calls (honestly atleast 25 calls), they finally escalated it to have the stove replaced. My fridge is literally missing water connection points (clearly these machines are not inspected when they come off the line), and my dishwasher clearly has a failing pump/motor where it's making a terrible grinding sound. Currently going back and forth with this company. I am completing an almost 4 month long full renovation of my house that included structural changes, and my experience with these appliances has honestly been the most stressful part of this home renovation project. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere. I regret giving this company any of my money and I will never forget the horrendous experience I've had dealing with them. I've never encountered such terrible customer service in my life. Buyer beware.

    New Appliance Delivery and Replacement

    From Delivery to installation to now waiting for them to send us a new stove because what they delivered was DOA. It has been a nightmare, escalating and speaking to the executive escalation team, has still not resolved this. The worse company to deal with ever., they hide behind the call centre agents and emails.

    COMPLETE AND UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT

    My experienced with Goemans Woodbridge was a complete and utter dissappointment. From the deception of assuring me that my order would be delivered 2.5 months after my purchase, to the suggestion that I contact the manufacturer when Goemans failed altogether to help. They certainly didn't mind taking the money months before the delivery that never happened and play run-around when I tried to finally collect the refund for my entire order. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN would I order from Goemans (even if it was free) and I would definitely warn others.

    Entire Goeman’s Operation is a Cluster….

    Where to begin?? Ill start with the total incompetence of the retail sales associate we were assigned at the Goemans store in Whitby. Normally, one would have to practice to be as bad at her job as this poor soul was. Uninformed, unaware and completely out of touch with any and all of the lines we inquired about. The only reason we purchased from Goemans was that they had a Tax Free Savings Event PLUS manufacturer incentives; otherwise we wed have run screaming out of the store. So, fast forward to the point that we have purchased and taken receipt of well over $40k worth of appliances and we are now ready for large column refrigerator and freezer installation. Goemans Installation department has booked, bumped, rebooked, cancelled, rescheduled, bumped, bumped again and as of this writing, still has not confirmed an installation appointment. I have been on intermittent hold with the Goemans Installation Dept. for OVER TWO HOURS trying to get a date booked. Every 20 minutes or so, one of their ineffectual Customer Service reps comes on the line to say that they are waiting for a supervisor or manager to become available to speak with me. I will just leave this hereif you are looking for a decent and competent appliance retailer, cross Goemans off your list and keep looking.

    Very dissatisfied customers

    Tow of the items did not work. The fridged air fridge and the asko dish washer. It took them over 3 months to fix the fridge after 6 visits and in the end they siliconed the fridge in the inside making it smell so bad and looks like its years old. The door also sounded like it was an old fridge. We are still waiting for the dish washer to be fixed. They have attempted once already but it did not work. Now they are saying that they will come back again to fix it after almost two months. Very disgusted with their service. I cant believe that after spending so much money this is the kind of service we get.

    The appliance purchase from H*ll

    So we purchased our appliances from Goemans in about June of 2022 in order to start the process of kitchen design for the new house we were building. We ordered them all with a delivery date of mid august 2023. We paid a deposit and then waited. About 6 weeks before closing they sent an email saying our fridge had been discontinued - obviously had never ordered it (or any of the other appliances it turned out). They offered us replacements - not the same dimensions or features as our fridge and since our kitchen was installed and made to the measurements of the fridge none would work. They did nothing to help - we cancelled the fridge and ended up buying it from CAS - it was in my garage the next day - they had no record of the fridge being discontinued. A week before closing Goemans told us the wine fridge and stove we ordered were back ordered (again - NEVER ORDERED in time by them ). When my wine fridge arrived and I did not schedule the delivery within 3 days(i was waiting for my stove) they sent me a nasty gram saying that if i did not accept the delivery of the wine fridge they would put it into general inventory. I phoned them and miracle of miracles - my stove had arrived. So we scheduled a delivery of both - be aware you cannot have delivery and install on the same day - they dont work that way. Regardless- the truck broke down and despite 4 phone calls to them - saying that they could not come after 6pm as we would be out - the delivery driver phoned at 7 to say - we are here where are you ? Through a comedy of errors the installers showed up the next morning - no appliances - the delivery driver showed up at 11 . Goemans then phoned me to schedule delivery! They dont communicate at all - to either their customer -or to their delivery folks or to their installers. Best of all when the installer finally came back (because he was kind and gave me his direct number) wine fridge has a broken fan and it is unusable. The installer took pictures of the broken fan and sent it to Goemans, I called and got a ticket. Their email said they would get back to me within 48 hrs. After 5 days - no response I called - no help - no update - called again the next day - no update no help - no call back - and on and on until 8 days after the ticket was opened - they emailed me to say they would be sending a tech to determine if the unit is unrepairable I was very clear - I will NOT accept a repair to a unit that arrived broken - send me a new one. Since then just a run around - no help - a broken fridge sitting in my hall. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE is HORRIFIC. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE - DO NOT GO TO GOEMANS!!!!!!

    REFRIDGERATOR

    Purchased a new fridge a month ago from the Whitby location. The delivery guys came dropped it off and left. Never went over things with me or gave me a receipt to sign. It was while taking all the wrapping off I noticed two long scratches on the handle of the freezer door and a buckle onthe stainless trim on the inside. At that point I also realized that it wasn't even the model I ordered. The ice maker in the one I was expecting was located inside. This fridge had no ice maker at all ,nor did it have the water dispenser the one I bought was supposed to have. Also the model number was different than on my purchase receipt. I have made numerous calls to the store and customer service. The sales rep came to my house two separate times to take pictures. Still fighting to get things rectified. I'm told someone will call me back. No one does. I will never again give them my business.

    What a nightmare

    They didn't install my dishwasher correctly and this resulted in a leak which destroyed the control panel. The customer service clerks hung up on me four times and they must be underpaid and hostile because of it. I'm now battling with the customer service manager and it looks like I'll be taking them to small claims court to get my money back It's 2 days later and I have a positive update. Goemans have agreed to replace my dishwasher. I am very thankful that they agreed to do so and I don't have any complaints at this time regarding their customer service.
