In regards to the cooler rooms, please ensure that the vents are unobstructed and you may want to consider running the furnace fan to get consistent circulation. That will help. If there are rooms that are used less, you may also want to consider closing the floor registers that serve those rooms, then that air flow will go to the cooler rooms you mention above.
