I have lived in my home for 15 years and never used the Central Vaccum until this past summer . Neither my husband and I grew up with Central Vac , or had used it previously and since our home was built over 30 years ago , I wasn't sure if our unit was even functioning . Turns out it is but the suction has been horrible and progressively got to the point where it made no sense to use it anymore . I knew enough to trouble shoot and understand that it was out hose that was clogged , but no matter how hard I tried I could not unclog it . I finally caved and decided to call in the professionals . I like to support local businesses , so I Googled ' Central Vacums ' for my area and up came Amati Home Systems . Naturally I checked out HomeStars to see their reputation and then send off my Quote Request . Instantly, several Service Providers called me immediately . I spoke to a few . Arian from Amati received my business because of his extensive product knowledge , his professionalism , his ability to immediately come to my home and MOST IMPORTANTLY , HIS HONESTY . Like ALL of you here , no one likes to get ripped off or taken advantage of and there certainly seems to be a fair amount of fraudulent , or less trust worthy providers of every type of service . I had one individual tell me that I would need a new Unit ....THIS without even having seen my existing one . I explained that the motor sounded fine and suction was great and I honestly didn't think that a brand new unit was required . He quoted me $1100 . I just needed the hose to be unclogged and one of the plates on one of my outlets to be replaced ?! Arian had me take several actions over the phone with me and then agreed to come to replace the outlet . He gave me the choice of bringing in my hose directly to him or he could also unclog the hose himeself when he came . When Arian arrived , he inspected my unit , tested it and magically unclogged my hose , he replaced my outlet plate that was damaged and then gave me some helpful tips for future use . He was honest , he was reliable and did all his work with a giant smile . He never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need and never took advantage of my lack of working knowledge . He now has my business for life !! Including when I need to eventually replace my Central Vaccum Unit . Thank you Arian . Appreciate your honesty and patience.

I had Amati install new security cameras at my shop. They were very professional and ON TIME, being on time is what I love. Workmanship was excellent and the Owner Arian was gem to deal with. 100% will use them in the future and will recommend them to all my friends and family

Great service. Very professional... and honest. I was ready to install a new central vacuum power unit, because my current system was failing. When Arian got on site, he diagnosed the problem to be a weird blockage in the pipes/tubing, which was making suction weak and overworking the motor. In the end, he dealt with the issue and I didn't have to install a new power unit after all - saved me $$$ in the process. The cost was very reasonable (and in hindsight, great value) compared to other quotes. I would use this company again (for any of their services), just on the basis of trust alone. We were working long time with this company and they have the very professional amazing job that they always do.very updated equipment and a lot of choices that they always recommend and show it to the client.very easy to deal with and always on time when you needed them..

Not a great customer experience and seems like they don't stand behind their products or care about customers that spend over $1000 on a new system. Details: I came in and indicated that I wanted to change my central vac and power head and was very clear that noise was an important factor. I was sold a quiet central vac unit (demonstrated in the store), but was not told that some of their power heads are louder than others (fine) or given a demo of the power heads. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. I was also not told that once I try the unit at home it could not be returned. The policy was printed in fine print in the back of the room where customers are not allowed - and it mentioned 48 hours. OK. The central vac unit was installed on Friday. We immediately tried the unit and found that the sound on the unit included a high pitch whine especially when the unit was not flush on the ground, making the performance of my brand new system louder than my 30 year old old system. I called the office Sunday (they were closed on Sunday and Monday (labour day) leaving a message - i.e. within the 48 hours with a detailed message including the fact that I was not able to come in until later in the week. No call back. When I brought the unit later in the week and demonstrated the high pitch, I was told it was 'normal' and that no one complains. I asked to be shown other models (other units did not exhibit the irritating high pitch) and was told that to exchange the unit I'd have to pay more because my unit was now 'used' even though I immediately called within the 48 hour period - and they were closed during the 48 hour window. So I paid more, exchanged the unit, but was not pleased with how my concerns were dismissed (even though it was clearly more high pitched and whiny even in the store) and that they did not care that they did not have a happy customer. They really should have allowed the straight return given when I had contacted them and the fact that their store was closed within the 48 hour period. They claim to be better than the big box stores, but why bother when I couldn't return a unit I wasn't happy with after trying it for less that a day?

Had our new security cameras and lighting control at the home updated. Couldn’t of been happier, loved they way they troubleshooted to resolve the existing system Professional, on time and quick! Have a great Summer!
