    Furnace tune-up

    Dan from Action Furnace looked after our furnace tune-up today (included as part of the annual package). He was on-time, courteous, efficient and took the time to talk through the work he was going to do and the recommendations he had. Great service and looking forward to continuing to work with the company.

    Inspected New furnace bought and installed

    From the purchase, to the installation and inspection for the City of Calgary Servicemen from Action Furnace are all very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this company to my friends.

    Hot Water Tank Replacement

    Our hot water tank required replacement. Action furnace was quick to respond to my request. They were able to install a new 50 gallon tank the same day as my original call. The Plumber James was friendly, and was able to explain the issues with my previous tank. He spent time to explain general maintenance practices Going forward. I Also spoke with the Manager Ryan, who Understood my urgency, and was a pleasure to deal with.

    Action Furnace - another fantastic job.

    In December Action replaced both my furnaces and hot water tank. Decided to change out a humidifier and upgraded the isolation valves. James Wilson was fast, efficient and professional. Well done!

    Furnace and water tank

    25 year old furnace finally gave up the ghost. It was -30 degrees out. Action Furnace came the same day, gave an estimate (and dropped off a couple of much needed space heaters), and was able to schedule an appointment to get my new furnace in for 8am the next day. My hit water tank was about the same age so I decided to get them both done at the same time. The install guys came, were nice and got the job done in no time. Walked me through the whole process and I'm nice and toasty again.

    Furnace

    We got installed new furnace in 2015,the same time the clever technician of Action furnace took off our old home humidifier saying that we don't need anymore the humidifier for house since then we are having trouble and we keep requesting them for new humidifer to install and now for every round they need money and for new humidifer they want extra money..........how one should recommends these kind of companies to any one.

    Hey Florine, We can't seem to find you in our system. Our install team would have not removed a humidifier without the home owners approval or proof of the humidifier broken. In order to receive a new humidifier we can come out and install one at a cost. Please reach out to our office as we would like to make this right for you.

    Chandler birt

    chandler birt was awesome!! Walked me through everything, And was very thorough!! Again awesome!! Great recommendations on my repairs, Very responsive on the questions about the repairs, gave good tips on how to go about it.

    Furnace Repair

    Robbie did a fantastic job with my broken down furnace. Action Furnace was able to send him within 24 hours of my call during busy times, and he was quick, accomodating to my specific concerns and right to the point. I am so grateful he was able to fix the dead inducer motor so fast. Thank you again, Robbie! :)

    Furnace inspection and a new furnace offer

    I have a mixed review about Action Furnace (A.F.) I would like to thank A.F. for a thorough furnace inspection. They took pictures inside the heat exchanger and found rust. This is the safety issue that can't be overstated. This was done under their membership program along with the duct cleaning. Although at first looking attractive, it is rather a method to deliver their sales pitch. What followed is, of course, an offer to install a new furnace with them. No doubt, the Technical and Sales teams at A.F. do their job well but, unfortunately, not always in the interests of their clients. After doing some homework and asking for a second opinion, I it came to my knowledge that the heat exchanger was still under warranty, which is usually 20 years long. A.F. did not mention this but I bet they know by looking at the stickers on the furnace. After contacting the manufacturer, I learned that the model is obsolete and parts are not available and the manufacturer offered me a new furnace for half the price and let me choose an installer. The job was given to the company who offered an unbiased opinion. The total job cost me about half of what A.F. quoted for an equivalent model (note: A.F. does offer a better warranty, but the price difference is still not justified in my case). This is where A.F. failed to earn my trust: they did not did not lay out the other option whereby the heat exchanger is swapped under warranty and A.F. is paid for their labour. Eventually, as I mentioned, by following the latter route, it turned out to be a new furnace that A.F. could install had they not been so aggressive in their sales.

    Duct Cleaning and Annual Servicing

    Joshua came out to do my annual cleaning and servicing. Joshua is friendly, nice and professional. Overall this company has not disappointed me yet in the two years I have been dealing with them. Great work by great people, and Joshua exemplifies that. *I pay a monthly fee for these annual services that include free filters.
