    Furnace replacement

    My furnace stopped blowing heat and someone from Action furnace was able to come to my house within a few hours. I had a blower motor that wasn’t working, but unfortunately during the safety inspection they found that the heat exchanger was cracked as well. They showed me the cracks and explained the safety risks. Since my furnace was old and there were no replacement parts for it, a new furnace was required. They were able to get me an appointment for a quote that very evening and the furnace I selected was installed the very next day. Speedy, professional, and great service! All of the employees that I spoke with were great and I am happy with my new furnace.

    Annual furnace cleaning

    I pay a low monthly fee for annual cleaning. My serviceman was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Replaced a capacitor which I knew it needed to be done from last service. Johnny did a great job.

    Furnace maintenance duct clean

    Service tech arrived on time. I thought it was going to be a simple maintenance check but there were a lot of items he went through. Explained basics of what he was doing and answered all my questions throughout the process. Marked a few wires and took photos during dismantling and referred back during assembly to double check. A few more checks on gas pressure, temperature delta, etc. I think it was worthwhile, ducts clean and furnace humming along as it should.

    Dishonest

    Woke up to no heat in house. Furnace not working, blinking red light on it. Action Furnace came out, told me control board is shot, inducer motor is seized, pressure switches need replacing, and heat exchanger has burn marks on it, needs replacing. Total cost......$4,000. Or they can sell me new one for $4,500. So I got a second opinion. Turns out control board was faulty, and was not giving inducer motor the 120V it needs. Inspection on rest of furnace showed it was fine. Total cost of fix, done on the spot, $800. Had I not gotten a second opinion, I would have spent an extra $3,000. Dishonest. Not ok.

    Home Heating Diagnostic Check Up and Repair

    I was very pleased with the overall professionalism and work ethic of the technician sent to do a check up on my furnace. He recommended a new inducer motor and had one on hand which saved much time. He installed it quickly and explained payment options clearly. I was very happy with their service.

    Furnace & Humidifier and duct cleaning

    Although I was having post flood restoration done the service tech took everything in his stride staying calm, polite and very pleasant. Completed his job efficiently staying within his time lines. Showed us the old filter and asked if we wanted to replace it. Followed COVID-19 procedure

    Furnace check up

    Our furnace was seeping water. Action Furnace came out and did an analysis on the problem. Robbie and Chandler took the time to find the issue and were able to determine it was the heat exchanger. They were very cautious by wearing a mask in the house, and wore shoe coverings as well. They were both clear with their analysis and were very courteous during their visit.

    Replace Furnace and install new Air Conditioning

    Proactively replaced 23 year old furnace and added air conditioning. Amana was not my preferred brand and I ended up with 5 different quotes. The sales rep Marc was by far the best from any of the companies I spoke to and probably the only reason I went ahead with them. The install crew were good. No issues, done in less than a day and cleaned up well. They made a couple modifications they didn't need to to provide additional headroom in the mechanical room. Quality of the installation seems good and neat. I had negotiated getting a new cable run to my ecobee thermostat but they installed with the existing 4 wires. I have not had time tom sit down and look at the impact of that and I still have some questions about how the modulating furnace runs and my ability to view the operation and what mode it is in. Seems to be a leap of faith that it performs as advertised. We'll see after a full heating and cooling season. Price was competitive Sales experience was very good Install experience was very good Knocked off one start because of the cable run and I thought there would be a bit more explanation about the operation and settings used for my home as well as the vent management per the sales dialog. Would definitely recommend.

    Awesome service

    Answer all my questions and more and went above what they were here for. We had our furnace replaced last year though action furnace and has been working great. Great people and great service!

    furnace service as unit was blowing cold air

    Todd Fischer was my service tech..did an excellent job and very nice person, explained everything and called me back with a warranty repair..would recommend Action Furnace and Todd to anyone that wants great product and service.. Blaine Peerless 6364-33ave NW Calgary
