Had 12 windows done, 2 doors, and a patio door. Went with oak for the casings and they sent them ahead of time so I could stain. For the windows it was triple pane with the easy clean coating and the tint that blocks the sun.
There were quite a few communication errors and after install there were definitely some issues. But I understand that in order to have such a good price with such a quality product you do a more quick install and clean up with the service crew.
The service crew is outstanding. In the end you have exactly the quality product you want with zero flaws. The only issue I see that is if you had to book time off work for the service visits you might be a little upset. Twice they sent the wrong glass to fix issues. It wasn't an issue for me as I was home anyways and in the end all my problems were resolved to perfection, but others might have different circumstances.
Issues I had were marks on doors and frame, one door didn't close smoothly so deadbolt was difficult to turn, patio door was rubbing and made clunking sound, cracked vinyl on patio, blemish on middle pane on window, missing part in door hinge, defect on window handle, and gap in black sealant on outside of a few windows. So quite a few issues, but they were all dealt with until I was completely satisfied. Stuff happens, but the important part is how a company deals with it, and Lux is excellent in this regard.
Highly recommend for price and quality.
