Alf and his son saved us thousands on our 20 year old double oven. Hard to trust service people these days, however I checked our local facebook group and they were the only company recommended. They are extremely trustworthy, fair, prompt, knowledgeable and they should be in everyone's contact list for appliance repair. I give them a 10+++. Everyone needs 'a guy' for repairs, Alf and his son are our guys now.

Called about a leak in door of dishwasher. Mark arrived the next day with gasket and noticed that the frame was bent which caused the gasket failure in the first place. There was also a broken cable for the door support and a leaky water valve. He showed me all of the bad parts and was able to replace them the same day (within 2 hours). With all of his time including straightening the frame and the parts involved I think the price was very good and you can't beat the service.

We had Ryan from Alf Steffler Ltd come and fix our washing machine. Ryan did an amazing job, we have reached out to many different appliance companies in the past and never received the kind of old fashion repair service like this. Ryan came in figured out the problem and fixed it. We have also had them repair our new fridge that wouldn't make ice. Again Ryan fixed the fridge and we were good to go. Merry Maids of Oakville

When my dishwasher stopped working, my friends recommended Alf Steffler. It was a breeze to schedule an appointment, Mark came on time, prepared for a couple of scenarios and he fixed my dishwasher in under an hour and made sure that everything was working before he left. Price was right too. I had experience with some of the top rated appliance fixing companies on homestars that were not even trying to fix anything, just get my money, so this time I tried the "word of mouth" route, and boy was I right to do that. Thank you Mark.

My Mother-in- law referred me to this company as I was having issues with my washing machine being off balance and she had used them for years. At first I was very grateful for the work that was done by Glen. He came to my house on time, figured out what was wrong and explained to me what was happening. Once he was finished, he went up to my kitchen where he wrote the invoice. I thought it was strange that he opened up my fridge, oven and dishwasher while I wrote the cheque but I just brushed it aside. He then went on to tell me about some family drama which I thought was odd as I had never met this man before but again I brushed it aside. After he left I went downstairs to do my first load of laundry. I noticed he left my machine pulled out and crooked so I pushed it back the way it was when he arrived and the machine immediately went off balance again. I was frustrated he had left it in an awkward position and didn't level it in the position it had been in. Unfortunately I had to pull it back out and do my laundry with the machine in the middle of the small space to make it balanced again. Coincidentally, my Mother-in-law was having issues with her washing machine and when Glen went to her house she mentioned how my machine was left and how when I tried moving it, it went off balance again. Glen immediately got defensive and rudely said I should have left it the way he left it. I was extremely disappointed to hear the way he spoke to my mother-in-law when she was just mentioning something to him. I also did not appreciate the fact that he didn't take any responsibility for what he had done. In my opinion, good customer service would have been Glen immediately calling me to arrange for him to come back. Glen needs to be aware how rude and disrespectful he is. Again there was no reason for him to speak to my mother-in law the way he had. There was also no need for him to open my fridge, oven and dishwasher without even asking me. I also didn't need to hear what was happening between the brothers. Glen there are boundaries when providing a service and you definitely have no idea what they are. I recommend you work on improving your behaviour, people and communication skills. On top of this, unfortunately, my mother-in-law experienced a horrible situation today with Glen which left her shaken and in tears after using their services for 47 years. I'm disgusted to hear how you would speak to one your dedicated customers. After this, my mother-in-law and I will never use this company again.

Squeaky Dryer...something awful and annoying too!!! Another 'appliance repair' shop advised post model number exchange via text it cannot be fixed. Carl from Alf Steffler says and did otherwise. fixed and running like new. Go figure. Thx Carl. Great job. Quick and effective.

Superior promt service even through the holidays. Knew I would have to wait for them to reopen, received a call back to set up service call. They have provided service 3 times For different appliances always prompt and Provide great work!!

Great customer service ... extremely response. We had an issue with the fridge and they responded right away and fixed the issued. We needed a specific size fridge for our home and they watched their new inventory every day to find what we were looking for. Highly recommended. Love working with a family owned and operated company.
