Alex and his team partner installed an air conditioner in my house. They were professional, polite, good communicators, as well as their work was fast, clean and to my full satisfaction.

I received a Wood Stove, Chimney Cleaning in preparation of the wood burning season and found that the Top Hat crew was courteous, efficient and they did a good job. The price was quite reasonable and I would definitely recommend their service.

We have been customers of Top Hat for many years and have appreciated the duct and chimney cleaning service they provided to our various homes over the past several years. Last week we sought out quotes for replacement of our AC. Of the 3 companies that quoted, Top Hat not only had the best price, but also made us feel we were dealing with the most experienced and knowledgeable team. Today, we just had a new AC installed by 3 amazing Top Hat technicians (I apologize if this is not the correct term). All three were very professional and thorough in their work. They kept me informed throughout the process and worked with positive attitudes even though the temperature was 40 degrees in our backyard. Thank you all for the great experience and the subsequent cold air now filling my home. Keep up the fantastic work! We will continue to be a satisfied customer of Top Hat for years to come.

I called Top Hat because I needed a company to check the cap on my chimney as a squirrel had gained entry into my home. Although I would have preferred that they would have been able to come the next day, they nevertheless arrived as scheduled 3 days later. The technicians were on time, and carried out the work efficiently. They replaced the cap with a better quality one, and cleaned and inspected the chimney at the same time. The work was done within a timely manner and they left my hearth and living room perfectly clean. I would definitely use them again.

We got a very nice Christmas gift this year. It did not come from the North Pole; instead, it was delivered by a crew from Top Hat. We bought a new gas furnace but its installation could not be scheduled before the holidays. Everybody was fully booked. But when I called the office to try to fit it in, they agreed to work extra on the last working day before the holidays. The crew worked as a well oiled machine: well organized, professional and efficient, but also very pleasant and respectful. They were open to any extra request and did a beautiful job. Our holiday with the new furnace was so much more enjoyable. They all deserve 5 stars for it.

Shane and his crew removed my wood burning fireplace and installed a new gas unit yesterday. I am thrilled with the results. The crew was efficient, respectful and pleasant to have around. Job well done...only disappointing point is that it took 4 months from date of order to yesterday but hey we beat the snow!!!! Also loved the singing!!!!

Top Hat helped us with fireplaces and duct cleaning in 2 homes as well as work in a new restaurant. They have provided personal service every time. They have also helped us by giving back to the community by donating a fireplace to Rogers House, a children's palliative care facility in Ottawa. This has truly made a lasting impact on the families that use the home. We are truly impressed by Top Hat and all the staff and have recommended them to many people.

The guys were right on time. Took their shoes off without being asked to. Put a thick sheet on the floor to clean up any mess. Both guys interacted very well together. Cleaned up completely when leaving. Explained everything they had done, asked if I had any questions.

Air Conditioning Service; CONSUMER BEWARE BEWARE They installed a Central Air Condition summer of last year, 2013; I purchased 10 years part and labor extended warranty in addition (I have a written contract). The unit failed within one year due to the fact that a contact switch inside the air conditioning unit was not engaged with thermostat. I was with the service technician at the time of diagnostic and obviously it was a cheap unit/defective unit inside the air conditioning unit that fail They replace a defective unit and claim that it was caused by a little bug and void the warranty and insist that I have to pay for the service. I spoke with the Service manager and he was rude, inconsiderate and they threaten to send to a collection agency if I don't pay the bill which will damage my credit score I kindly ask them to give me a proof that the defective unit was caused by a bug; Perhaps, it was rain, dust or the unit defective prematurely that cause the issue which is clearly should be covered under warranty. They refuse to honor the 10 years part and labor warranty service contract which I shell out hundred of $ purchase extra after the unit was installed. CONSUMER ... BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY BUSINESS PRACTICE WHEN IT COMES TO WARRANTY

Fantastic service, cleaned and maintained the fireplace and gave it a pass. I was worried but they answered all my questions perfectly. Highly recommended, i shopped around and they were very competitive.
