ACT (AIDS Committee of Toronto) Corporate Move

My name is Patrick Kearns, and I am the Practical Assistance Coordinator at the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT). One of the various programs I have coordinated is our Moves Program. This program was designed to help our HIV-positive clients who are facing financial barriers when making the move to new housing. For the past few years, we have relied on No Problem Movers to help our clients make this important transition to a new home. Throughout my time working with the staff of No Problem Movers, the feedback I receive from our service users has always been positive. Because of the excellent and productive working relationship we have, I have no hesitation recommending No Problem Movers to anyone who is looking for an effective, professional and affordable moving company.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Patrick and too all the wonderful people we had the opportunity to meet and move them into their next phase of life, it has been equally as rewarding to us. Thank you.

    Home move

My move took place last October. I moved my belongings from my home into No Problem Movers storage, the rest of my move will happen at a later date. My move was absolutely brilliant. My movers were very resourceful and I was very satisfied with them. They were on time and they organized and wrapped my items properly. I would definitely refer No Problem Movers to my friends and family.

    Corporate move

Our move consisted of two parts. The first part was moving items from the first location into the Royal York Hotel storage and the second part was moving them out of the Royal York storage. The first part of the move went flawless. The movers showed up on time, they were excellent, there were no problems whatsoever. The second part of the move went well, and at no fault of No Problem Movers there were a few complications. In hindsight it would have been better to have one extra mover on this particular job. Because of the lack of parking and competition with other companies moving items out of storage there was a problem getting items onto the elevator and into the truck in a timely fashion. I would definitely use No Problem Movers again, and recommend them to my friends and family.

    Residential home move

On August 2009, I hired movers I found on a local classified website. They had a really cheap rate. I asked them about hidden charges and they explained everything. On the day of the move, after they loaded the truck and took a $500 deposit, they asked for triple the amount agreed on before. They didn't tell me the truth about the hidden charges. They threatened to leave the furniture on the driveway if I didn't pay the rest of the money. I refused to be scammed and I asked them to put the furniture on my driveway. While they were doing that I called "No Problem Movers" which I found on Google. I was desperate to have a quality moving company take over my move at that time. No Problem Movers quoted double the hourly rate of the cheap company. They said they could have a truck within 45 minutes at my address. Sure enough, the truck showed up on time with two professional looking strong guys. They didn't ask for any money up front and they accepted credit cards. Because I missed my booked elevator time at the destination, No Problem Movers offered to store my furniture inside their truck at their location until the next morning. The next morning, as promised, they showed up right on time and the move was completed very professionally. Despite making two separate bills for the two days of travel plus a storage fee, "No Problem Movers" ended up being cheaper than the other "cheap" moving company. They handled everything very professionally and they were very speedy too. I wish I had signed up with them from the beginning. As a consumer, I always look for the best price. But in this situation, the best price was choosing the better company with more experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering moving. If you like your furniture and you don't want to be scammed, choose a quality company such as "No Problem Movers." Even with a higher price, you'll end up paying less money and your furniture will stay in good shape.

    Archives relocation

Dear NO PROBLEM MOVERS: I am not sure how best to convey our sincere thanks for the care, concern and ultimate relocation of the Hockey Hall of Fame's archival collection - thank you NO PROBLEM MOVERS! The move of the HHOF collection was not an easy assignment. There was internal concern about this important part of the move from our archives space in downtown Toronto museum to our new facility, the DK Doc Seaman Hockey Resource Centre and Archives, west of the downtown core. I met with three other companies along with NO PROBLEM MOVERS. I must admit that I did not look forward to making the final decision on the moving company. However after my initial meeting with Pedro I began to have a "gut feeling" that this was the right guy and NO PROBLEM MOVERS was the right company. Hockey relies on teammates and our friends at NO PROBLEM MOVERS are superb teammates as I have come to find out. Our collection is world renowned and possesses many fragile pieces as well as those that reside in unique climate conditions. NO PROBLEM MOVERS provided the efficiency and expertise that I could have only hoped for when given this task to oversee the move. The Hockey Hall of Fame is a registered Canadian charity that preserves the game of hockey - all leagues and all levels worldwide. We are not funded directly by government or by any hockey entity. Despite our well known status in the hockey world, we are in a situation where funds are limited for any project we undertake. A downturn in attendance affects our departmental budgets. Attendance with respect to SARS, recession, US passports required and the US dollar at almost par it has been a tough decade. NO PROBLEM MOVERS was one of only two companies who verbally indicated their understanding of our charitable status. The NO PROBLEM MOVERS first and final estimate reflected this fact. Personal, prompt and courteous are words to describe their management and on-site movers. They are dedicated to the job at hand and willing to do everything it requires to get the job done correctly. They supplied all necessary packing materials and helped to coordinate the logistics with respect to our landlords Brookfield Properties and the MasterCard Centre. They are experts and they warrant your consideration for your move however big or small. I would recommend NO PROBLEM MOVERS to any museum, business or person.

    My move to Vancouver

In the fall of 2009, I decided to finally move to Vancouver, B.C. I contacted Abbas at NPM Van Lines as well as several other companies in Toronto, to help facilitate and arrange my move. From the moment I started dealing with Abbas, he exhibited utmost professionalism. I only had three weeks to condense and prepare to move. He was able to make the process simple, easy and efficient. He remained calm from the initial quote and telephone calls back and forth. He was always willing to go the extra mile and was very easy to work with. He also arranged to have my car picked up and sent to Vancouver by train, and then he also kindly arranged for my possessions to stay in storage until I was ready to have them delivered. My entire move from the time I contacted him to the time I received my shipment was handled in the most professional and courteous manner. If you are looking to move across the country or to another city, I would highly recommend contacting Abbas and letting No Problem Movers do the work for your next move. I promise you will not be disappointed.

    Move to Kelowna

This company really is the "No Problem Movers." I rearranged my move a few times as I was moving long distance, and every time I called NPM they catered to me as needed.
