Worst service i ever received. Ordered a 1000$ dishwasher the customer service told me 2-5 days then after that long they tell me its in backorder for a month maybe two. Never again should of paid the extra $ in real stores. Will get refundAnswer from pro:
Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we do not maintain on hand stock of all appliances we sell. We have standard receiving cycles from our vendors and at times the manufacturer will be unable to provide the appliance to us in the time frame we expect and as such your product may be delayed. We often have no idea of any manufacturing delay until the order is sent to them. Our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

My old Maytag finally stopped working. After much shopping around for a new front-loader, I went to CAS on a friend's recommendation - and very happy that I did. Antonio was very knowledgeable, describing the differences between makes and models on the floor, and had infinite patience for my many questions. He did was not at all pushy, merely informative and very helpful. I decided on a washing machine and purchased it from CAS through Antonio. It was delivered and installed, and the old machine removed, two days later. Great delivery service, and the new hoses were included in the purchase price (unlike other places). Best price around; great service. I would highly recommend. I have since learned that there may have been other makes not on the floor, but I am happy with my purchase.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Cancelled a dishwasher that I had ordered, they are charging me the 25% deposit ( $177.00 ) plus a $30 delivery fee. I contacted the company to cancel my order and was told by staff that I would have to pay the $30 because the product already shipped to Whitby location but that I would be refunded the $177 deposit. Management emailing me back stating their policy is to keep the deposit. I expressed my annoyance at this and now am paying $200 for a product that I won't ever have. Not happy.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your review. Please note that the $30 line haul fee was not charged however your deposit of $177 was kept as in-store credit per our company policies. You can use this for any future purchase.

We have made 2 purchases and dealt with Vathsy at the Heartland store each time. She was helpful with the decision on the laundry pair which was the in-store purchase. We had narrowed the choice down to two options and she highlighted the differences. I'd say she gently guided the decision but was never pushy about it. She explained all the extended warranty options, and followed up by telephone to schedule delivery when the dryer became available. Delivery guys were good too. When we decided which oven and dishwasher we wanted we called her and she took us through the warranty options again, got us a decent price and scheduled delivery for later this week, all over the telephone. No idea what CAS will be like to deal with if an issue comes up afterwards but will likely go back there after completing research on microwave ovens.Review from Kathleen Watson Kathleen Watson

My sales associate was friendly and knowledgable However, the customer service provided by this company is sub par at best. I purchased an expensive dishwasher and asked for installation. I was told the installers would call me within 48 hours to make an appointment. No call came. When I emailed my sales associate to follow up, he responded by sending me the phone number. When the installer discovered a critical part was missing and could not complete the install, "customer service" told me I would have to wait an entire week! Newsflash: If you have another in stock, you crack it open and give your existing customer the part and order the part for yourself. You don't make them wait. I tried calling my associate and left a message begging him to call. He didn't. Here is my recommendation: Shop elsewhere.Answer from pro:

Please know that we only sell new appliances and do not have the ability to provide replacement parts. The first year you have the appliance it is under warranty from the manufacturer and any replacement parts would be their responsibility. As such, we would not open a new box to retrieve a replacement part for another unit. I'm happy to be advised that the replacement part has been shipped to you. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I mistakenly decided to buy from a local company (Canadian Appliance Source) as they are near my house, usually I order all of my appliances from a place in Toronto. I went in December 13th, inquired about a specific model of dishwasher, I was assured by the salesman (he even showed me his computer screen with the estimated date of arrival) that it would be in within 2 to 5 days. I needed to be extra sure as our current dishwasher died and we had many guests coming for Christmas. I was reassured many times. Well It was January 29th before it FINALLY arrived. I called almost daily starting on day 3 after paying in full and ordering it. Clearly the salesmen there work on commission as I never got any assistance after paying for my dishwasher. I left voicemails for him and never got a call back. I finally found out his schedule and called his direct extension about 10 minutes after his scheduled shift start and he was flat out rude, told me that he can only tell me what his computer says and that it will be in when it is in. I told him that I was more or less guaranteed by him prior to paying and ordering that it would be in before Christmas (this phone call was well after the 5 days and just prior to Christmas). He told me to just be patient. So Christmas came and went (it was awesome not having a dishwasher - thank you Canadian (useless) Appliance Store) I called him again in the New Year and demanded I be compensated in some form for this, he bluntly told me he can't do anything and that it will be in when it is in and I will get a call. I hung up, immediately called the Canadian Appliance Store general customer service number and put in a complaint about my salesman (I got the feeling it went nowhere), as I well I told them the situation and said that I want to be compensated for this hassle. All they did was waive the delivery fee. Ummmm, big deal, 95% of your competitors automatically offer FREE delivery with any appliance order. Even the place I usually buy from in Toronto delivers to me for free and I live 80km away from them. They would not give me an extended warranty or anything else. I was so put off by this horrible company that I not only decided to write a review to warn others but I am actively telling anyone I meet who is looking for appliances to NEVER even consider this company. Worst customer service I have ever received for spending almost $700. There were a bunch of ways they could have assisted me with this but they never made an effort to help, in fact the local salesman clearly was avoiding me, he already got his commission so that's where his service ends obviously.
