    Price matching

    I bought a recliner online. 4 days later, they had it on sale. Since it was a black Friday sale, they don't price match. It was only 4 days! So I canceled my first order and then ordered it at the lower price. It was a $75 savings. But now I'm waiting for my refund. I'm supposed to get a phone call to confirm the cancelation. If they don't do the cancelation right away and then try to charge me for a restocking fee, I'll be back.

    No no and never again!

    I paid over $2000 for a sectional and no customer service except for rude people when they gave me a couch previously used and very obvious that it was damaged!!!!!!!!

    New Bedroom Furniture

    Recently bought a new bedframe as well as new dressers for my new bedroom. Staff we're friendly and very helpful. Definitely will be going back again soon. Thank you for the great service.

    Washer

    Bought a new maytag washer, it didn't work correctly from the first wash, they had a technician come out and find the problem, the part was 4-6 weeks away from getting it. They ended up giving me a better washer at no cost, with a bigger capacity Thank you Anni for your tremendous help I truly appreciated it Dan

    Worst Company Ever

    DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. Ordered a couch, took 3 months to get, then they delivered it with a giant hole. Took another month to get a "new" one, but the new one was even more broken then the first. The staples were all out of the back and the arm rest was literally rocking back and forth. They had to take the second couch back right away because of safety issues of the broken arm rest. Can we speak to a manager about this? NOPE, no one will let us. And now they want to repair the second couch, but we never ordered a refurbished couch. Still unresolved, no manager will speak to us, and we're stuck with a broken couch with a giant hole in it. What a waste of money and time!!! Literally never had such terrible customer service in my whole life. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

    Furniture technician Brandon

    We found Allison to be an extremely efficient technician, and would highly recommend her. Her work ethic is great and she did her job with skill and efficiency. Thanks for such a good job!!

    Delivery team broke my TV

    I bought a mattress in mid April, delivered may 5th. The delivery team not only scratched paint off my wall delivering my mattress but also dropped the mattress on my tv, completely shattering the screen and rendering the tv useless. The delivery team then said it would file the compliant for me and return in a few minutes with the paperwork.. they didn’t they just left. I had to make the complaint myself after which they said they’d get back to me within the week... It’s now been 7 weeks and 3 denials later they hold strong to the delivery team stating I “broke my own tv after when my mattress fell on it”. How would my mattress fall if it was delivered flat onto the floor. Either way guest care is nothing but useless and I will now be taking this to small claims court. I will never purchase another product from them or their parent store Ashley’s. The only reason this review gets a single star is because of the customer service at the store. Otherwise I’d be rating this 0/10 Edit/update: I just got off the phone today with a guest care manager who had, in the last week, attempted to overturn the decision made using the same info as above, and yet transportation management is unsurprisingly holding strong to their untruthful statement about me damaging my own walls and TV. I will now be following through with my decision to take them to small claims court and sue for damages. And as originally stated I will never purchase another product or service from Dufresne ever again, nor will I recommend them and make sure all those I know never use them.

    AC UNIT

    Bought a ac unit, turns out used told them i don't want it, took them 8 months to come get it, and because i tried to buy a new one i got bombarded with phone calls demanding the rest of the payment for the new one i never got, so when they finally picked up the old one, it took even longer for them to cancel the new one that was one back ordered for 9 months, still havetn received the credit from them, and i will never buy anything from them ever again.

    Bunch of money grabbers

    Paid for a 4 year warranty for a dining table that we had purchased and when we phone them to get a few scratches fix, they pass you to a number of different people and in the end they only told us that they don’t cover for that. Save your time folks stay away from this store at St. james or don't get their extra warranty coverage.

    Recliner Sofa

    Purchased two recliner motorized sofas in September of 2020. We received one in October, 2020 but not the second one. It is now March and have still not received it. Each time we have phoned, October, November, December, January and February it is always pushed back another month. I called the Nairn store at the beginning of this month and spoke to a salesperson. I was angry and upset that no one has bothered to follow through with the delivery to let us know when we can expect it. I was not friendly with the "lady" I spoke to but cold. I did not swear or curse or use profane language. I was blunt and to the point. She hung up on me. Once we receive our couch (whenever) I too will never deal with them again. They have no concept about how to keep a customer happy in order that people will become repeat customers.
